Ehron grins as the ship moves in behind them, tipping its hand a bit too soon. Slipping away to the left he circles around behind it calling upon the incredible agility of the small shuttle. In moments the rear of the aggressor was now in front of their own ship. "So are we firing or giving them merely a scare?" he asks over to Kov'i while paying attention ahead on the ship. We could've done an engineering roll here too for diverting power to engines or weapons etc. Also if you use Google slides for maps for this I have a slide I could paste up for people to use as ship positions that I have used before.

We can have multiple science officers btw, and normally multiple gunners (this ship has only one gun). Hearing the comms engaged Ehron concentrates his attention on the the enemy ship and maneuvering into a good spot. "This little ship is very fast and agile, hopefully we can zip around and control the fight. Its going to be a battle of who can anticipate the other better." he says while implementing a flight plan, long fingers dancing across the controls. He sends a encrypted text message over the comms to the group at watching their words, and any unencrypted comms in near the robot. Heading in first, he folds his long limbs in against themselves to claim the pilots seat. Running over the controls to find the locations, and test against any undue surprises for a normal ship in Eoxian hands.

I suggest we maintain a good faith with them and work towards their favor." Visiting the Eoxian's puts Ehron on visible edge as they travel into the death ship. But hearing the request from Gevalarsk Nor seems to put him more at ease. "It would be pleasant to visit a comforting rock asteroid. Space stations do not feel so natural. Can you tell us more of the asteroid and ship? Not to bias us, but to give us an informed starting place to sort fact from rumor?" He asks to start to get a feel of what the job may entail.

"From what I can gather Duanimon, the Downside Kings had tracked down Zetara after our initial claims that we had rights on the Rock. She went with them at her insistence as Kov'i notes." he nods towards the vesk. "But we followed to try to act as backup if things went sour. We found about their bar and were trying to get information when it got messy. Not sure what tipped them off, but they tried to accost myself, Kov'i and Scera." Ehron says with a shrug. "But it was enough for Zetara to get free and set fire to the kitchen, causing a panic. Kov'i ran into the kitchen and came back out with Zetara and then we escaped." He looks to Zetara to see if she wants to fill in the extra details.

With care to protect his long, slim limbs from the stampeding crowd, Ehron stands up again. Looking down again upon the angry vesk approaching and keeping a confident grin. "Oh, look a riot and a fire. I'm sure station security will be real soon. Bribes only cover so much. Maybe you should be going to make sure the security logs don't contain coverage of you using military ordinance on unarmed patrons?" Barely reclaiming pistol and knife from the security station, Ehron turns only to be hit with a second blast from the large laser canon. His nervous system shorting out, he collapses down into crowd with a spasm. With a quiet groan he regains consciousness reaching for a serum at his belt and quietly drinking it while remaining prone amongst the cover of the crowd. Heading back for his gear, Ehron hears the orders come through despite his convincing the heavily armed vesk. Side stepping to place a display with a huge bowl of jello between them doesn't save Ehron from the lance of light, but the puff of steam from the bowl being converted to vapor seemed to have helped. Never the less he sags in pain as the laser still sears a large portion of one shoulder. With a grimace of pain he takes the last to distance eating strides and plucks his weapons from a huge distance. His long and thin arms going past the door staff to return him to an armed state. Hoping the crowd will give him some cover he turns to assess the situation this has turned so quickly. "Kov'i, why not use those heavy vesk claws of yours? I don't think we can go for finesse here anymore." he calls to his friend.

There is no firing into melee penalty in Starfinder but there is cover. Ehron got crit btw, Nat 20, another 1d10 damage and 1d6 burning at the start of Enron’s turn. Did he get the equipment held at the door last round? Assuming he isn’t unconscious of course.

That's why I went for a call to the Starfinders to see if there was aid. Ehron let Zetara go at her own request to try to stay out to continue the quest of finding the captors. But will tamp that with heading into the maw. Ehron aids his companions on the trip to the Downside Kings area, using the more aggressive appearance of his vesk companion to work through the crowd. Trying to make them appear a threatening group to keep the predators away, while mitigating that to not appear a threat to the Kings themselves. Taking Scera's suggestion seriously Ehron purchases a makeup case and cheap bling. He will help himself, Kov'i and Scera into a disguise so they can travel into enemy territory. "I hope this works out and I am glad this place is so large and cosmopolitan, at home in small asteroids everyone knows everyone else. Much harder to hide in plain sight." he mutters while sending a comm to Garland and Duanimon with an update. Purchase a disguise kit and take 10 on each of us for 20 disguise each.

Sorry I was trying to regain the track of the investigation, but I haven't been reading others spoilers. My computer search revealed the V'alorais as a cargo pilot for an Absalom company, my bad assuming we were looking for a Diaspora one. I thought since the Level 21 were hirelings, the Hardscrabble were more who we wanted to talk too as the Downside Kings are potentially too hostile.
