Thanks for running the game Sedoriku! You made it great an epic. I would had loved to hold at that level, but after half the game I started to be very busy and could not update with the level of detail the game deserved. Anyway congrats! You are a great GM!
Earevel makes his best to quickly make good work of the rune without ill consequences.
The elf smiles "Indeed, we did it. It was a grand fight. Mmm... I guess we should not leave it like that, but you can probably sort out the details. The main job is done here"
"In the end your arrogance was your defeat" Earevel looks at the fallen Archlord while leaning over his staff. The elf cleans the sweat on his front and breaths deep to recover. After it is sure the wizard will not move, the elven magician approaches and checks the magical treasures of the powerful man "So we solved the case. I guess it is time to come back to our contractors"
Earevel sends a electric arc over the two remaining statues.
The rest of the week will be fairly complicated for me for what posting concerns. Please bot Earevel as it better fits. Unless something else is needed that he can deliver, he will mainly behave as you have seen so far, he will keep using his cantrips, changing and trying different elements if it seems one works better than others. If some of the wizards try to get invisible, he will try to land a glitterdust. The web he can attempt to use to defend some position or stop some retreat, but I do not think it will be of much use in the current situation. Things should come back to normal by next week.
Earevel strides closer and then uses his magic to bring more electricity upon the mages.
Earevel steps ahead while saying arcane words, bringing a new electric arc to shock both the archlord and his apprentice.
With his most powerful spells frustrated Earevel just tries to shock the two closest statues with an electric arc before moving out of the cloud and starting his trip around the bushes and spells of the Arclord.
Earevel coughs as his more powerful spell is nullified by the Archlord in a brisk "Ah! I was told you are only an apprentice though. Let's see what can you do with this one!" the elf produces a sparkling stone while saying arcane words and points at some point behind the webbing. His 2nd level summon monster brings a fire mephit into life!
Earevel strides a bit to the front then smiles as he sees the wizard to use guano. Producing a pitch for himself, the elf points between the apprentice and Prakhavu and launches a fieary peach from his finger that explodes into a full fireball taking both targets.
Under invisibility sphere you cannot move farther away than 10' of the sphere source, Earevel in this case.
Satisfied his spell has aided on the party approach, Earevel casts blur on Karvek and shield on himself as the hostilities begin.
When the party is ready, Earevel casts blur on Karvek "I can also hide us behind invisibility for a surprising approach" Earevel will also cast sphere of invisibility bringing the party invisible if we all think that is a good tactic.
For now Earevel just mingles with the people around and attempts to discover more about what is going on from a non-open position.
"Yes, we managed to defeat a golem. The most troublesome part is Prakhavu attempted to silence our investigation by ways of killing us. It appears he hired an Ifrit assassin to do the job" Earevel explains the last encounter before adding "We also found there are two people who wanted our victim badly: Arclords Ngasi Bakolo and Prakhavu Khibenid. So for now... everything points towards Prakhavu mainly" "Did you uncover something about the book?" the elf enjoys the event, asking for a good Andoran wine if possible.
"Good, let's head back to check with the gnome then" to ifrit he asks "What is Prakhavu trying to hide? What did he told you to do after killing us? To gather at some place perhaps..." The elf worries a bit by the shape of the fighter "Karvek are you ok? Those burns look terrible. Is there no one that can help him?" he retrieves a small potion of healing from his own bag "I do only have this, it is a small help but you will feel better afterwards"
Earevel tries to find some herbs among his ingredients pouch in an attempt to treat some of the groups burns.
Concerned by the fighter's ill state Earevel approaches him and uses his own cloak to try dose the flames on him.
Earevel smiles as the elemental freezes until destruction. Observing Karvek surrounded by elementals, Earevel swims to him and casts blur on the warrior to help into his defenses.
After another dive into the water to keep himself fresh, the elf points to the elemental in red flames and shots one more ray of frost!
"No cloud-like things that would help here!" Earevel swims with his feet trying to remain at place while he performs more arcane movements to cast another ray at the elemental.
Earevel shouts in pain as her tunic catches fire. The elf finds the strength to conjure another ray of frost at the attacking elemental.
Just before leaping into the pool of watter in an attempt to quickly dose the flames on his tunic.
Earevel does not lose more time, he advances himself and shots at the first elemental he spots in a clear line "Let's not remain gathered! But focus on one of them!"
"Oh sorry! My friends are just nervous because all that stuff about the assassination. Take it easy, this was just an error. When can we get an appointment?" Earevel smiles while he attempts to move the others behind him "If not possible right now, we will look for an invitation then we will come back!"
"Mmmm... thanks for the information" the elf turns to the group "I think we should start by visiting Prakhavu. This seems like a solid lead" "Did he say those two wanted to take something from him? Or just commented some other thing about them?"
Earevel nods as Lem speaks up "Yes, any hint you can give us, even if just someone that hated him, might be paramount on resolving this investigation"
A Mercane! I have very good memories of once my Theurge called one with Plannar Ally to bargain him to "Plane Shift" the party in order to traverse to a hidden dimension we had wrongly broken the entrance to and got stuck in the adventure, he was a very fun NPC :D
Earevel smiles as he recognizes the alarm spell. The mercane also triggers his curiosity "Interesting stuff you have here! Do you have anything to prepare good traps?"
"Mmm... interesting... why Ladhlia would need traps?" Earevel thinks on the name as well.
The elf uses detect magic to look for more clues, and studies the remainings of the golem, looking for a crafting mark or a similar clue. "I say we search Ladhlia and query her about her business with the traps"
Earevel looks back at the stranger entrance "Quick! We need some help here! The golem run out of control!" Then the elf casts again produce flame with his staff.
And follows up shielding himself with another cantrip.
Earevel opens his eyes wide when the golem ignites in extra fire "Ah! So does it! You do not like the fire! Submit to the Society, confess whom is your owner!" while he waves his staff once more calling for more fire on the flesh golem.
Then he moves his right hand to cast shield once more.
Observing the golem is not harmed by the cold, Earavel just tries so with fire, aiming with his staff a burst of fire is born in the tip of the burned wood and springs towards the golem.
Without better ideas on what to do with his last action, he just casts shield .
"It break out!" knowing this is a dangerous enemy, Earevel strides back farther away from the golem. Refocusing himself, he holds his staff in one hand and points with the other at the golem. Knowing the electricity will heal it as pointed out by the guards, he instead tries a different element, a ray of frost is born at his hand and propels at the golem in between Seo-yeon and Karvek.

With the rest of the time, Earevel starts identifying the magic around, but even with his Quick Identification knowledge it will take a minute of thorough research without interruption to study the auras around.
Sedoriku, I am enjoying a lot your vivid descriptions! About spending resonance and investing items, is it possible to invest at any time in the day or only during preparations (I know charging staffs with resonance is only possible during preparations, and later on you have to do a different process during the day if the staff is found at midday, so that's why I ask).
"Indeed, this will counterspell the first fireball that comes in. Useful if you want to stay alive" if no one else is interested, Earevel focuses his resonance and invests the ring. "Indeed, we came in the name of Vash-Vatom Sebnet" says the elf while showing all the documentation offered by the gnome.
Earevel moves light as a shadow through the buildings trying to lose the golem's sight. The elf quickly looks for Karvek and the body "I like it when a plan comes together"
Unfolding the piece of paper he adds "The way the letters are formed and some of the phrasing suggests that the writer learned to write Polygot long before they learned Common." and after some thought he adds "That could mean the author was Garundi, or at least her ancestry traces back to Garund continent"
Earevel smiles as the body starts to free, but gets frustrated when one part will renounce to get free. Still riding the foot, he attempts once an again to set it free "I will need help here folks!"
The elf grips himself tight to the moving foot while he lunges to reach the body at the very same moment the boot moves out of the floor and raises "Well, this should be not much different than making some steal games at the Court for the Viridian family"
If successful, Earevel just hops off and strides far from the golem, looking for the party to recover the body he just made off.
I am good both with adding another player and botting. If you have to bot me, please feel free to spend any resources it makes more sense to spend at the moment.
"Not that left leg Karvek, the other left leg!" the elf while the leg passes by him. Earevel looks at Seon, and when the outstanding bard gets the attention of the golem, he attempts to climb the adjacent leg.
Unable to reach the golem this turn, Earevel just moves out of the way and waits for the golem to reach his position.
"So my training entertaining the nobles of the Viridian Court might be of use after all..." Earevel starts performing magical lighting tricks to try call the attention of the golem.
"Quick, get into it!"
Society Secret roll:
"Of course, if you prefer to visit some other place before I will not oppose" adds Earevel "I feel more comfortable walking within the protection of the group" and looking at the goblin from the distance of his height "You will not close too much eh? How do you said you were called again?"
Earevel coldly looks back at the gnome when she does not allow him to read the treaties "I do understand" Turning to the others he faces the doors leading outside "Well, it seems we will need to start by checking that workshop in Quantium North"

His movements are graceful and he almost seems to float through the stony ground, barely setting his charcoal wooden staff on the floor as he advances. "A pleasure to meet you Sebnet Sanserkoht the Vash-Vatom" the elf places a small reverence before presenting himself "I am Earevel of Iadara, Student of the Arcana and Envoy of the Viridian Crown to the Pathfinder Society" "An Arclord? Well, yes I know, but you surely want to illustrate my companions" Earavel avoids showing he has no clue about this point. Requesting some mead for drink he studies the case "So why do you think it was a murder? Could it not be the golem just accidentally stumbled upon him? If it was on purpose why not to took the book with themselves?"
Seo-yeon we are building level 5 characters, even more creation fun! :)
Monday sounds good! :) Perhaps we can start with the characters presentations. Will there be a briefing like with PF1 Society Scenarios?
Thanks a lot for the link! Earevel is complete now. I am mostly settled with everything, but I am open to suggestions. One thing I love is at this level I already can play with a staff! That feels very wizardry. I have chosen the familiar feat, mostly for testing of the new system, a white cat named Agatha joins the group :)
