I been working on a goblin fighter who uses yodas spinning twirling attack method. The problem is where to go since there's a lot of possibilities. Yodas fighting style is the biggest thing I'm looking for but some other Jedi type powers would be cool too. Fighter/monk/duelist
The ability to enter another's square seam it would be useful. Want to use the goblin tanglefoot feat too. I would like him to not use anything heavier then light armor. Likely a 15 point buy btw. If I could combine monkey shine, mouser underfoot adept, and tanglefoot feat that be cool.
I was considering pharasma. But there's a necromancer in the party and I was afraid to come at odds with him. He has the wasting curse so irori didn't seam right. Just not sure. The history I have so far for him is part of his training to become a Lore keeper oracle he was taken To a graveyard to commune with those long dead. Something happened he doesn't remember but he awoke buried alive next to a corpse.
I kinda wanted to use the shadow drake as a combat capable ally but as a wizard hps are low. Idk this is what I got so far at lvl 6. I haven't worked out spells available in his book yet. Not sure what metamagic to take probably tenebrous and something maybe silent? Is it possible to cast while hidden? Wayang shadowcaster Str 8

Go to Myth weavers. We're doing a classic dungeon crawl and I figured trap abilities and knowledges may come in handy. Other players can handle dmg I've seen there sheets although I figure archery would let me stay at a safe location and add some.
Body Bludgeon (Ex): While raging, if the barbarian pins an opponent that is smaller than her, she can then use that opponent as a two-handed improvised weapon that deals 1d8 points of bludgeoning damage, assuming the opponent is sized Small. Larger or smaller creatures used as a bludgeon deal damage based on their size using this base damage. A size Tiny creature deals 1d6 points of damage, a size Medium creature deals 1d10 points of damage, and so on. The barbarian can make a single attack using the pinned opponent as part of the action she uses to maintain the grapple, using her highest attack bonus. Whenever the barbarian hits using the pinned opponent as a weapon, she deals damage to her target normally, and the grappled opponent used as a bludgeon also takes the same damage she dealt to the target. If the pinned opponent is unable to resist being pinned for any reason, the barbarian can use that opponent as an improvised weapon without grappling or pinning the opponent, until the creature is reduced to 0 or fewer hit points, at which point the creature becomes useless as an improvised weapon. A barbarian must be at least 10th level before selecting this rage power. Possible to create a char around this?
I'm running a campaign. It has many avenues players can take that lead twards the same end. But I often feel like I'm railroading because I'm like what do u want to do. Then there nothing from them. So after a bit I start reminding them of clues or things there characters have uncovered. I mean there characters have decent INT scores and I feel wouldn't have forgotten about a ancient tome that is related to there quest or similar. I often like to use dreams since one player his family was touched by divinity and it is calling him to awaken a goddess but I try to emphasize the calling is not urgent so they know they don't have to pursue that path if they would rather do something else first.
So thinking of another new character. I like the stalwart feat line and it's got me thinking.

My idea for this character is a huge raging gorilla like King Kong. He basically balanced being able to take damage with being able to give it. Lvl 11 barbarian invulnerable rager lvl 4 druid

I been kicking around a beastmaster character. I kinda want to create a character that his pets do everything for him. Does inspire courage bard ability work with pets? Does flagbearer work with pets? Does it matter if your pet had a 3 or so int? The banner of ancient kings adds to lvl for inspire courage so I wonder if inspire courage works then so should the banner. Would bless or prayer help animal companions?
I have a party of 3 lvl 11 tier 4 mythic characters in my game. One life oracle, one dd barbarian and one fighter archer. They have a host of np a following them all 10+ mostly melee but 1 druid and 1 sorcerer. The fighters father got possessed and I have him in my head. The possessing entity is like a shadow god with abilities between a ninja and a shadowdancer. The character is gonna be an archer fighter with the tactician archetype. He is gonna have a couple mythic shadows and a necromancer helping him assault the PC group. I have an idea of him being able to cast shadow summoning to break off shade clones of him that each do damage... Will save..20%. Then he can teleport between them as a swift action. The pcs have blown threw most of what I've created. I am ok if some in the PC group die as they can be resurrected.
Say a person had a rapier+sword breaking dagger using 2 weapon fighting. Say that person elected to use parry with the dagger. So with improved 2 weapon fighting that's 2 attacks with the rapier and 2 parries. Since u did not attack with the dagger do u get precise strike damage to ur rapier? Along same though if u have improved 2 weapon feint and u used the dagger to feint once and parry once does that mean u don't attack and again can add precise strike damage to the 2 rapier attacks? Hmm I just read two weapon feint again. Can u have ur dagger be ur main hand? Or I guess you could attack once parry twice. Is disarm maneuver considered an attack? Parry (Ex): At 2nd level, a duelist learns to parry the attacks of other creatures, causing them to miss. Whenever the duelist takes a full attack action with a light or one-handed piercing weapon, she can elect not to take one of her attacks. At any time before her next turn, she can attempt to parry an attack against her or an adjacent ally as an immediate action. To parry the attack, the duelist makes an attack roll, using the same bonuses as the attack she chose to forego during her previous action. If her attack roll is greater than the roll of the attacking creature, the attack automatically misses. For each size category that the attacking creature is larger than the duelist, the duelist takes a –4 penalty on her attack roll. The duelist also takes a –4 penalty when attempting to parry an attack made against an adjacent ally. The duelist must declare the use of this ability after the attack is announced, but before the roll is made. Precise Strike (Ex): A duelist gains the ability to strike precisely with a light or one-handed piercing weapon, adding her duelist level to her damage roll. When making a precise strike, a duelist cannot attack with a weapon in her other hand or use a shield. A duelist's precise strike only works against living creatures with discernible anatomies. Any creature that is immune to critical hits is also immune to a precise strike, and any item or ability that protects a creature from critical hits also protects a creature from a precise strike. Two-Weapon Feint (Combat)
So I been kicking around creating a beastmaster ranger12/ shadowdancer x. I am thinking 2 different possibilities. 1 a halfling beastmaster with archery style. He lets his animal companion and shadow companion Harry his opponent while he fires off an arrow while hidden. 2 a human grappler who grapples and pins his opponent then lets his companions beat on it while he keeps grappling it. I'm sure it's not optimized but it seams at least different style of character. Could be kinda fun. I played a shadowdancer and I actually liked the class. I was thinking of taking boon companion at 5 then when strong bond comes in I can loose at least 4 lvls and keep maxed companion. Do u think these ideas would work and any build advice?
I have a cage for a colossal sized creature that the pcs want to use a break action on. It's magically reinforced adamantine. It's also enchanted to drain strength of anyone who is in contact with the bars. They want to use part of an iron golem they destroyed as a sort of lever. One is a dragon disciple barbarian with like 30 strength hike raging. The other 2 will assist.
So I was looking at a new char. I was thinking a fighter with a Titan mauler dip. Useing a bardiche and a shield as a wp with shield slam. Then going disruptive and spellbreaker and enlarge person, lunge, and combat reflexes for the attacks of opportunity to casters 15 ft range. The only problem is all the minuses I see adding up... Jotungrip -2, two wp fighting -2 and more I think if it's a heavy shield. Idk... Viable?
And stealth. Since stealth is a drawn out process and sometimes more then one roll. I have a mythic shadow dancer. And we are in wrath of the righteous. Most of the enemies have higher perceptions then my 20 stealth. Could I use display of dex to help. And would I have to use it over n over spending mythic points to stay stealthed.
I been trying to come up with a prophesy. Something like... When the champion falls.
Then the shadow of evil can be driven from this world forever. Now I don't want to spoon feed the plot to my party. But I want some kind of prophesy that includes the above.
So I thought I would bring this up here. My gm already rules one way and either way it's got bonuses so not a big deal but anyway here it goes...
What do u think?
So I have an elf with a 10 strength who uses Mythic Finesse. He also has Armor Master x2. I am wearing a Breastplate, a light steel shield and a rapier atm. I plan on upgrading to full plate at tier3. Encumbrance has been brought up by the gm. Isn't the dex max/ penalty basically because of encumbrance. So wouldn't the mythic armor master ability says to me that it negates the encumbrance penalties of armor. IDK new to pathfinder. |
