Then you are down to the amulet, or nothing.

Is there a way to make a weapon a monk special weapon? Or change its weapon group?

If you have the funds for an amulet of mighty fists with the Agile property that would do it. Accomplishing it with feats requires some liberal reading of rules that a GM is likely to not accept. But if you really want to try: find a Style feat that makes your unarmed strikes do slashing damage, then get the feat Slashing Grace and choose unarmed strike. In total this will require 4 feats: weapon focus, weapon finesse, slashing grace, and the style feat (I think Tiger would do it)

Slashing grace doesn't allow multiple attacks. The weapon must be one appropriate for your size. You do not gain this benefit while fighting with two weapons or using flurry of blows, or any time another hand is otherwise occupied.

The feat refers to melee attack and damage rolls immediately after the requirement that you be wielding a scimitar, so the attacks it is referring to are with the scimitar.

If you a player at my table I would tell you to cut the cheesemongering or take a hike.

So how can I add dex to damage? By the way this is my very first character so I don't know much about pathfinder

Hard question! If I'm a brawler at lvl 2 with weapon finesse and dervish dance can I ad dex to damage on brawlers flurry? I took the heirloom weapon trait. So can I wield the scimitar in main hand and elbow something twice as my attack since I can do an unarmed Strike while holding stuff and dervish dance reads you ad dex to melee attacks. I ask this because it doesn't directly specify scimitar attacks.
