Drips lifts his head, stirred from his slumber by the little master. He looks concerned, but not enough to warrant standing up. Slowly, he sets his head back down.
Pavlov, conversely, simply looks excited to be remembered.

Laying in the dirt alongside the fence, the pair of canines look as confused as ever. Master had changed his appearance again. He smelled the same, he sounded mostly the same, and he spoke kind of the same... but he wasn't little anymore. Closing his eyes, Drips tried to catch some rest while the excitable master was off doing whatever it was his kind did. Pavlov, sadly bound by his master's orders, joined him.
With a low whine, Pavlov returns to the little master's side, pawing at his leg. This place was not good. The smells were all wrong. All bad. He knew the master sometimes listened to him - more than the humans, at least. Maybe he would listen now!
The two-legged ones barked at each other. A lot. The little one always talked a lot, but this was getting ridiculous. Drips sat himself down, waiting for something of interest. Like bacon. Or steak. Or cheese. He had a soft spot for cheese. Pavlov, though, was a little more active. He started to sniff around. Lots of new smells. Strange smells.
The little master looked weary, and that was unusual. He usually had more energy than a pup! Drips and Pavlov slowly moved their gaze from the master, to the floating woman, to the master again. Was the floating one hurting master? Following at Pip's heels, the pair of dogs began to burst out, barking at the attacker.
Food. Drips raised his head and opened his mouth. It was one of the big ones, with his hand extended. And meat. Trademark drool began to drip from the sides of his muzzle as he gobbled up the offered jerky. He loved this one. Almost as much as the little master. Almost. Pavlov hardly noticed. The sensation of having an injury inexplicably mend itself in less than a minute was throwing the dog for a loop. He spun in circles, sniffing at the injured spot before experimentally gnawing on it a bit.
Yelping from the sudden pain in his side, Drips suddenly hears a low growl. After a brief moment, he realizes that it was himself making the noise, and quickly stops. Woof!
Pavlov yelps as the creature hits him and the world goes dark. [ooc]Stable at -1[/dice] Drips snarls. The smelly thing hurt his friend. And the little one wanted it hurt. Drips would hurt it, he would protect his friends.
Woof, woof. Bark. Woof?
Something broke. Drips opened his eyes, tired. He was always tired. The little one never stopped moving, even if he did pet him a lot. There a was a thing! A ball! Time to play? No, this had teeth. Drips stood up, head craned slightly with curiosity. "Woof."
