I've recently released a character sheet website. It's currently in Beta version, and I would love to add a ton of features to it. I'm really just curious what people think of it, and if they think it will be useful.

Let me know what you think!

I just released a beta for an online character sheet web application. http://www.spellbacus.com. It's brand new and not packed with features yet. I'm looking to get some feedback before I decide to dump too much time into this. Feel free to hit me up on here or Twitter @spellbacus.

I'm really hoping people think a site like this will be useful. If not, I'd like to know that too. If I get some positive feedback I'll happily work to clean it up a bit and continue adding features. Next on deck is a printer friendly version!

Hope you guys enjoy. Thanks in advance for the feedback!

Just looking for some vague ideas... My group decided to roll straight down the line for abilities, so the scores can't change or move. One of my friends ended with the following:
str 14
dex 16
con 10
int 13
wis 18
cha 12

Any ideas for character concepts? He has a couple ideas floating around, just trying to see if there are other viable options that we're overlooking.

Thanks in advance, I always get excellent advice on these boards!

I'm still pretty new to Pathfinder, and just curious if anybody has any insight into a build I'm working on.

I'm building a level 2 Dwarf. I want to put 1 level in Barbarian, then move into Inquisitor. His back story is that his clan was driven from the mountains, forced to live with Barbarians when he was young, years later Gorum (the deity the barbs worship) began giving him magical abilities. His people as well as the barbarians are not cool with magic, so they exile him and he decides to follow the path of an inquisitor.

We rolled our ability scores I ended with:
Str: 17
Dex: 11
Con: 11 (13 with Dwarf)
Int: 16
Wis: 15 (17 with Dwarf)
Cha: 10 (8 with Dwarf)

I'm thinking dwarven waraxe with a shield and possibly the preacher archetype.

Curious if anybody has any input on how to make this work best. I know a lot of people don't recommend sword and board style with Inquisitor because it's a feat hungry build and not optimal for damage output. I'm curious if anybody has advice on how to make it work. I'm also curious if people think I should use Dwarf favored class, or if I should take the hit point? It might be worth noting that we are rolling hit points after the first die.

Thanks in advance!

I'm creating my first world as a GM, and I had the idea of putting a city on the map in the middle of a desert, except when the players arrive there is nothing, only sand. The villain is going to be a necromancer, and I imagine that he casts "Cursed Earth" on the area to turn the residents into zombies, then possibly uses "Polymorph any Object" or some similar spell to turn the buildings into sand, thus leaving nothing but a bunch of zombies buried in the sand.

Couple questions: Does my choice of spells make sense, in case they detect magic and spell craft to see what happened? If not does anybody have a better idea of how a city turned into sand covered zombies?

Next question, does this idea seem like a fun plot point? Again, first time creating my own world to GM, I don't want to create a concept that won't be fun for the players.

Any suggestions are helpful, I'm pretty new to tabletops and would love some advice!

Thanks.

Liberty's Edge

This might be a stupid question, but do Cleric domain spells have an associated school? More specifically I'm looking at making an undead lord and am wondering if Death's kiss and/or the effect of the command undead feat would get a +1 bonus from spell focus or the fell magic gnome trait?

Based on the wording of command undead, I'd guess that does get the bonus
"using foul powers of necromancy...."
and "as if under the effects of control undead" which is a necromancy spell.

The wording of Death's kiss doesn't help me, but it's the undead sub-domain, so I don't see why that wouldn't count as necromancy.

Thanks in advance.
