I'm was away from the forums for a while and I haven't been able to find if this has been brought up before but I'm wondering if it's been noticed that Druids using their own attack bonus while using Wild Shape don't gain the extra +1 to hit from the inspire courage status bonus or would only gain a net +1 status bonus from level 9 heroism and no bonus at all from the lower levels of it (Truthfully bless and heroism doesn't bother me as much).

I have a few issues with this.

1)I find it unfair to druids. They're already behind master proficiency classes due to their max stat being stuck at wisdom. This puts them even further behind if there is a bard in the group and hurts class synergy.

2)I find it weird that a druid using the attack bonus given in the spell would gain the benefit of these other status bonuses but not when using their own attack bonus.

3)There have been those in the magus chats who have advocated for a similar bonus to the magus in place of a master weapon proficiency and I would like to point out the issues with going that route.

That wild shaped druids gain a +2 status bonus for free is really nice and maybe I want to have my cake and eat it too. Wild Druids are, after all, still full spell casters. It's just losing out on the potential +1 attack bonus from inspire courage seems painful to a class that is already not as good as other classes at doing what it's trying to do.

I just ran my first 2nd edition game on Saturday. I ran the Hellknight Hill adventure path. These are my impressions from running the game.

First and most importantly it felt like Pathfinder. Everyone seamlessly used the three action system and everyone was effective in what they were trying to do barring a bad roll. As a group we had played PF1 many times in the past with the exception of my daughter (age 13) who was enjoying her first ttrpg game ever and she had a blast.

There were 6 PCs and I found the rules for editing encounters fairly easy to work with. Before the session I had gone through the first 2 sections and added monsters or made a monster elite as I felt necessary and it didn't take too much time. There ware times when I had to consult rules since we are not familiar with every class feature or spell but in general it didn't take too long and I assume as we become more familiar with the system that will improve.

Our party make up is caster heavy. The only pure melee is the barbarian. Otherwise we have 2 sorcerers (dragon and imperial), a cloister cleric of Pharasma, a melee focused animal druid with a wolf companion and a bard with a whip. Only the barbarian took damage and between the druid's medicine and the cleric's healing she had no issue staying alive. My imperial sorcerer player loved the 3 action magic missile and my dragon sorcerer player (my daughter) crit on her first casting of electric arc on both targets (bad reflex saves with a natural 2 and 3 respectively). My bard player today told me that this was how a game should be run and that he had a good time.

TLDR: We had a good time. Can't wait for our next session.

7th level elemental form doubles your damage dice. For earth elemental this brings 2d10 up to 4d10 damage dice. I feel as though I'm reading something wrong. With the +5 Handwraps that'd be 24d10 per attack. Elemental Form and other form spells state constant bonuses stay active and the handwraps imply they work with natural attacks.

It says in the Weapon Focus feat discription that you can choose Unarmed Strike for this feat. It also says in the Unarmed Strike section under Armed Unarmed Strike that natural attacks are considered Unarmed Strikes. However in the druid priview the druid had Weapon Focus(Claw) for a feat. I found nowhere in the book that showed rules for natural attacks being able to be chosen for Weapon Focus except for Unarmed Strike. While I know it could be argued that claws are different than bites and what not and should not be covered by the same feat I found no where in the book that said these were seperate for choosing this feat.
