Hi Dave! Currently, your order is being held up by the Age of Ashes Pathfinder Dice. We order them from Q-Workshop and apparently it's just been difficult getting them in. Apologies for the inconvenience!

If you'd like, I can get everything else on your order shipped out and have the dice follow whenever we're able to get them in. Let me know what will work best for you!

If you could please remove this item from my order and refund my payment method the corresponding amount for the dice and their shipping cost. Once done, please ship me the other items with all due expediency. Thanks very much for your assistance with this. Take care.

Hello there, Paizo Customer Service. Hope all is well with you folks.

I had a question about my most recent order. It is Order 15645987. My order has been in a "Pending" state for three weeks now and I am wondering why this is the case.

Are there items in the order that you are waiting on an inventory to arrive? Are there other problems with this order?

Three weeks is a lot to wait for movement on an order and I am concerned that I won't be receiving the items I ordered and paid for.

Thanks for any light you can shed as to the fate of my order. Please respond back on at your earliest convenience.

Take care.

In fact, what I would have most liked to do is purchase two 6-packs of the Complete Character Portfolio product to get the GM Day Discount on these, but I will await whatever resolution you can provide to me. Thanks very much for your help with this.

Take care.

Dear Paizo Customer Service,

I am very confused about the order that I just placed (Order 16846546). I intended to buy one Complete Character Folio 6-pack, but it seems like I ended up buying seven them. This is in line with the email that I sent to Paizo Customer Service yesterday (email from draconicmorph@aol.com, sent at 10:19AM EST) where I was seeing seven items in the order subtotal, but the number entry field was somehow absent from the page.

Another point of confusion is that when I went through the purchase process, the total appeared as $42.91, the price of one 6-pack of the Complete Character Folio after shipping and the GM's Day discount. However, the page arrived at and mirrored in the confirm email displayed the total displayed as $216.59. That is to say, as if I purchased seven of the 6-packs.

Can you folks please rectify the situation so that my purchase is only for one 6-pack of the Complete Character Folio. I would greatly appreciate it.

Let me know if you have any questions for me with this. Thanks so much for your assistance.

Take care.

Occult Classes

EVERY ONE GETS ITS OWN CLASS.

Sorry, that was my bias showing. I love these things and I want to see them all in full glory, updated and refined.

Do indeed agree with you on this. I am getting rather nervy about the potential for the psychic being telescoped into the sorcerer class, which, to me, would be disheartening in the extreme.

Is this on the docket to be reprinted? Just wondering about this?

So the copies of the limited edition of Starfinder that I am seeing in the photograph of the Paizo booth are GenCon pickups? Just wondering about this and maybe some kind of possibility, however vanishing, that I can my hands on a copy of this version of the book.

Thanks, Katina. Much obliged for your assistance. In this world where ordered items are often times thrown into boxes haphazardly, you putting this right means a ton to me. Thank you very much for taking care of this promptly. Take care.

Hey there, Paizonians. For my order #3634779, it looks like I was shipped the wrong product. Not only did I not get the limited edition of the "Visions of War" book, but the standard version of the book that I did receive was damaged across the front cover. It's kind of rough waiting weeks and weeks for your items only to find that one of them was the wrong item and that one being damaged, adding insult to injury.

I would like this situation to be rectified as soon as possible. How do we go about doing this? I guess I need to ship the standard version book back and you need to ship out the limited edition. That said, I really think I deserve expedited shipping for my new book. That seems reasonably fair given that Paizo received their money immediately from me.

Please respond back on this query with all due expediency. Thank you for your assistance with this.

Hello DragonValor,

Thanks for your question! Taking a look into our system, it does seem that we have a handful of the print copies available, so you shouldn't have any problems getting the Print/PDF bundle if that's what you'd prefer. Just let me know if you have any troubles getting the order to go through, or if you have any further questions, and I'll be more than happy to help out.

Thanks!
Katina

Katina, thanks so much for responding back to my query and providing me the details above. I really appreciate this. I hope you have a great day. Take care. Dave [DragonValor]

Just wondering if the Pirate Encyclopedia from Gaming Paper is something that you have in stock. If not, would it be an ordeal to get your hands on the physical book? Given the accessibility of book, I am debating as to whether to purchase the Print/PDF bundle. Let me know what's what with this when you can. Thank you for any information that you can bring to bear on this. Take care. Dave

Hey there, Paizonians. In looking through the Occult Adventures, something I couldn't find was an ability or psychic spell that enabled the psychic magic wielder to see into the future or choose some sort of attribute whereby the character would spontaneously experience visions of the future. I guess what I am talking about is something that is non-implement-based (crystal ball, etc.), something that is an inherent aspect of the character via class, archetype, or discipline choice or otherwise. I guess there's defensive prognostication for the psychic class, automatic writing (although pen and paper could be construed as implements), access to the non-occult spells, augury, divination, and vision spells and the like, but I couldn't really find much else in Occult Adventures, particularly when what is sought is for the character to possess the ability to experience a vision of the future (no matter how inchoate) rather than merely information acquisition. Is this somewhere in the book and I am just not seeing it or maybe in a third party product? Any thoughts on this? Thanks for any and all information on this. Take care.

I have to agree with the comments thus far and, while I like Mosaic's idea of "Noble Estate II" or a jumbo map pack with two flipmats, I would exhort Paizo's map team to consider rethinking the layout and place the bedrooms on a second floor so that ballroom or extravagant parlor or grand library could find a place within the structure. OHR's Blackwolf Manor (a PDF) would make for great reference as it is as well a walled mansion, but is a two-floor affair that packs in a lot more in a smaller footprint. Hope that this can be revised in such a way that it can spark more in the way of imagination.

Hey there, Paizo Customer Service. I had a question about the availability of the Lords of Gossamer book by Rite Publishing. I ordered this book on October 1st, a book that was initially a part of Order 3199827 separated out into the order referenced in the title of this thread.

On Friday, I went ahead and contacted Rite Publishing themselves and was informed that Paizo had yet to contact them about being out of the Lords of Gossamer book which I take to mean that the book was not backordered through them. Maybe you folks have another source for the book, but I was kind of surprised that this was the case.

Needless to say, according to the message from Rite Publishing, they said they would be getting in touch with Liz Courts and would send out copies to Paizo ASAP.

Long story short, I am rather concerned about the situation and given that we have cleared the one month mark with this order, I am hoping that this can be resolved relatively quickly and my book sent to me.

Notwithstanding, if you cannot obtain this book, please let me know and refund me the monies involved. If you can, great, but, respectfully, I would appreciate some consideration in the form of expedited shipping. I have already paid for USPS priority service, so one- or two-day service would be kindly appreciated.

Thank you very much for your help with this. Take care.

Hello DragonValor,

I've taken a look into your order #3199827 and it seems that your hunch was right. The Lords of Gossamer & Shadow book is currently on backorder, and the rest of the order is waiting on it to be restocked. Would you like me to move the book to a new order to pend by itself so that the rest of the order may be shipped? Or would you rather leave the whole thing alone and have it ship together when we get more of the book?

Either way, let me know and I should be able to get it taken care of for you. Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any further questions or concerns.

Thanks!
Katina

Katina, thank you for getting back to me. I really appreciate it. To respond to the options above, yes, why don't we split the order up and send on the available books now and send on the Lords of Gossamer and Shadow book when it arrives in from backorder. Thank you for being flexible with this. Hope you have a great day. Take care. Dave

Hello there, Paizo Customer Service. As I review the Customer Service portion of the forums it seems like there are a good number of orders that are pending. Notwithstanding, I just want to confirm that there is no problem with my order (Order 3199827), maybe waiting for the arrival of a book that was not immediately in stock. Here I am thinking that this might be the case with the The Lords of Gossamer & Shadow. I guess the upshot here is that I haven't received my physical books and hope that these will be shipped out shortly. Please let me know what the status is with the order. Thank you so much for your assistance with this. Take care.

Looking forward to this, but, as I mentioned in my review blurb from 2010 concerning the Andoran Player Companion, the garb of at least the soldiers and perhaps even the non-warrior folk are just too close to the Continental Army of the U.S. Revolutionary War. As the images are so very important to the book and the engaging of the imagination, it is my opinion that these should be re-imagined in such a way that they are more tied to Golarion and rely less on garb from this period in U.S. history.

Hey there, Paizo messageboardians. I am trying to locate good- or even neutral-aligned drakes who might serve as a steed or adventuring companion. So I am guessing a creature that is either medium- or large-sized. I have to admit to not having Bestiary 4, but cannot locate such a drake in Bestiaries 1, 2, or 3 and cannot come up with a third party product that bears lesser dragons of this ilk. Perhaps these don't exist at all, but I thought I would put this out to you folks to see if somebody knew of a creature that bears these aspects. Please send back any and all suggestions.

Hi Dave! that's because we haven't released the world guide yet. We've approached it by releasing a number of adventures and regional maps to let folks start piecing it (and their old Necromancer Games adventures) together into a cohesive whole while we reveal things a chunk at a time, showing connections between points A and B that they never knew existed or had only been hinted at in older products. The world guide is actually scheduled for 2015 with several products releasing more big chunks and the adventures set in them between now and then.

I'm glad you thought of us, though, and hope you'll stick around for when the world guide is released and the big picture is finally revealed.

Greg

P.S. Just as an FYI, we're not just trying to be coy and tease people along by doing it this way. It's just that we're not only releasing new products but tying together about 50 or so old Necromancer Games products into a cohesive whole. The rough stitching has been done (we know what everything looks like and how it all fits together) and much of the world guide is written or at least in note form, it just takes a lot of work to write up how all the pieces fit together and keep our new products moving at the same time. So we're just moving kinda' slow.

Greg, thanks so much for responding back to my post and in great detail. I really appreciate this. And I am very excited to hear that there is a world guide on the way. As far as I am concerned, this is just what the doctor ordered and should provide The Lost Lands with a synergy all its own.

In addition, I have been a fan of the Necromancer Games and now the Frog God Games products for a while. A standout for me is Bard's Gate for its intrepid nature at both having the city bear a chaotic good alignment and for courageously sporting the racial makeup that it does with humans simply being a single component of the wider palette of races and not the central hub of the cosmos with other races existing in scant, dwindling pockets here and there. As for me, one gets tired of the monolithic mandates of "This is the dwarf city! ... Here and nowhere else.", "This is the gnome nation. ... Here and nowhere else.", ad infinitum. ... There is something vivifying about the freewheeling, "open air" feeling of a certain kind of order allied with a fecund higgledy-piggledy. To me, this multifariousness is one of the prominent hallmarks of high fantasy (contrasting it with swords and sorcery) and one of the reasons as to it being such a powerful draw.

Thanks again for the response and I am really looking forward to picking up the world guide when it is released. All the best.

Dave

P.S. I have just put in for my pre-orders for the Necromancer Games 5th edition products and am anxious to see what you folks are doing with the new game.

Greetings to the messageboard. As it has been something that I have been curious about for some time, I thought I would put in a post concerning high fantasy settings produced by third party publishers for the Pathfinder RPG. I can only think of a small handful of these and, in fact, it seems like settings that reside in other genre's have been the more successful or, at least, abundant - settings such as "Shadows Over Vathak", "Pure Steam", "The World of Aden", "It Came from the Stars", and "Terah" come to mind.

As far as high fantasy settings these are the only ones that I can come up with: "Midgard", "The Lost Lands" (although I am hardpressed to find a world guide per se), "Freeport", "Sovereign Stone", "Shadowsfall" (not a fully realized world?), "Realms of Twilight" and I guess "The Scarred Lands" conversion to PFRPG is potentially in the offing.

As I have seen a number of efforts to produce high fantasy settings for Pathfinder fail on Kickstarter and there is at least one that is more than just struggling now, I was wondering what other high fantasy settings exist for the game, are reasonably fleshed out, and are relatively unabashed when it comes to the tropes of high fantasy with one such being humans are just one of many sentient races and do not predominate over the entire landscape.

Anyway, I would appreciate your thoughts on this matter and any recommendations as to other high fantasy settings that are not listed above. Thanks for any and all help with this.

Peace.

I just purchased my beginner's box only to find out that the Valeros and Merisiel character sheets were missing from the box. Has this happened with any other purchasers of this product? Also, I guess I a going to have to return it and look through another one to remedy this situation. I know the PDF's exist, but not the same thing as what should have been included in the box to begin with. ... Anyway, I would appreciate any feedback on this concern.
