If you are referring to Thunderfoot, Dr. Dre, it only applies to the overrun maneuver. Did you mean something else?

S#%%, i misread that then. Sorry my bad. I still think spirit guide is a good idea then because stone spirit hex stone stability can give you improved trip and greater trip for free. Which helps aleviate feat concerns a bit although that does make multiclassing worse becuase you need 10 oracle levels to get both so i dont know how it compares with your current idea.

Also your proably going to want a leveraging weapon since it applies double the enhancment bonus of the weapon to both trip and bullrush attempts.

I have also been look at this mystery for a while and while never got anything concrete. I did realize that if you are the oracle archetype spirit guide you can use the mammoth shaman spirit to get the hex that treats your class level as bab for cmb/cmd. This admittedly hurts the multiclassing idea a bit because you lose revelations for this archtype but that is what rings of revelation are for.

Just a thought to consider

There is not a way to buy a potion of you. If you want use those spells just use the extract, but if you want to let allies use the spells then take the Infusion Discovery which is almost the same as potions of you for those spells. That is as good as your gonna get. Infusion discovery is really good though. whole heartily recommend taking it. Also you cannot use extracts with alchemical allocation.

After Seeing This Mystery I really, really want to build an oracle with but I'm not sure what is a good way to build a character with mystery especially since I've never built an oracle before let alone. Here are my thoughts on it as so far I've come up with. Its not well organized just because its just my collections of though on each aspect of building this character.

Race: Human. nothing much say about but I am open to other options. +2 will most likely go in charisma

Archetype: Dual Cursed. I've heard so much about how this archetype makes every oracle better that i felt it would be remiss of me not to take it. That maybe the wrong approach to take though but it also helps out with revelation since i only really want a couple of them and this adds some more good ones

Curses: Main curse is Powerless Prophecy and second curse is Legalistic. Powerless Prophecy is cool to me and is how I came up with my backstory. I also just like what it gets you and I do not feel that bad about dealing with the downsides.

Revelations: I only Really care about three of them; Ascetic Armor, Fleet, and Martial Discipline. I'm want to get these three as soon as possible I was think about burning a feat on extra revelation to get them all by oracle 3. Spell Deflection is cool but I don't mind waiting to take it since it seems situational. I do not think the oracular spell strike is really any good. Although I feel i could be completely wrong on this but I'm just not sure how. Absence of form is meh but taking after 10th is okay. Absence of body and Rapid Convalescence just seem like complete garbage. Misfortune and fortune are just good revelation i can take whenever.

Spells: besides Divine favor and power and Channel vigor I'm not sure what specific direction i should go with spell casting. I know that I want my spells to help me out with punching people in the face but beyond those few i mention not sure what options i should take. Also i don't need that many spells to help me out So i could probably take some utility spells and the like. Biggest problem being I do not know the cleric list very well.

Multi-classing: I was thinking about Taking a one level dip in scaled-fist to get cha to ac and flurry of blows. Also it allows me to get dragon style for free.

Feats:Well since i get Dragon style for free i was thinking about taking Dragon ferocity latter on as way to help boost my Damage. In that Same vein i was think about going three feats in eldritch Heritage to get Strength of the beast from the orc blood to also help out on that front. I also think the nanite blood line would really cool to try out but It loses in straight power to the orc bloodline so i probably would not unless i could figure out something else to help boost damage instead. That's all I really have figured out for feats.

Point-buy: I really suck at point buy. Like I have no idea what the best way to stat up this build would be. I feel like i could get use out every stat on this character with charisma being the most necessary. My biggest failing being that I don't want to dump int because i do not like losing skill points.

Backstory: Just to get an idea out their of what i want this character to be. His family is destined for greatness but when the charter hears about this he is appalled and leaves the home because he thinks he should be able to decide what he wants to do with his life fate and destiny be dammed. So he start monk training in a temple of Irori hoping to gain the strength and fortitude to break destiny. Yet when the receives his oracle abilities he realize he might not do anything all about it. he becomes depressed he decided to bury himself in vices hoping he can just ignore the future he is bound too.

Traits: Looking at at Wisdom in the Flesh to get Acrobatics back as a class skill after losing it from dual cursed and fates favored because divine favor and power will be the main way i buff my self. Also think it works thematically too with my character

Writing it all out like makes me think that my biggest problem might just be that I do not have a solid direction for how I want this character to play out. I mean I i know I want to punch people in the face and cast cool spells. I know I want to be a party face. Yet I'm not sure the best way to go about doing that.

Besides being an Ascetic Mystery Oracle with Powerless Prophecy curse nothing is set in stone for this build. That's why i wrote it the way i did. So what do you think about where I'm going with this build. Anything i miss that i should be thinking about and are any of my ideas just really off?

You can if you are a shield champion brawler. it works as if you were in melee range though

The Lantern bearer prestige class had its racial requirments removed. I dont know if their are any other prestige classes with racial requirments but their are none in this book so i assume they removed them all. Not really a game changer but nice if you had a gm who enforced this.

Familiars dont get skill ranks at all. They treat your ranks in a skill as their ranks in the same skill. Though they use their skill modifiers

You get deeds at 4th for the archtype not 1st do dipping as this archtype is not worth it.

It really depends on where your starting from. If your concept is a dex paladin then its a clear downgrade. Mercies and spell casting is a huge loss. However if your concept start from a swashbuckler it a big upgrade (at least to me it is). Divine grace is better the the absolute garbage that is charmed life. And you get smite evil on top of precise strike so twice your level to damage on smite evil targets. Also you get yourself some sweet immunities. So to me it is swashbuckler+ and paladin-.

You are thinking of the Portal Network a Minor Artifact from Occult Adventures

One thing i've noticed is that this archtype stacks with both Wasteland Blightbreaker from the same book and the Chirurgeon archetypes. You still get to keep bombs too. So you could make some sort of ultimate healing alchemist with the healing domains while still having some decent combat capablities

Edit: Actually think about it now on this combo the best uses for domains are to help suplement your combat and buffing since healing is covered by the other two archtypes really well.

So now that the Healers Handbook is out on the d20psfrd I want to talk about the Sacrament Alchemist archetype. Mainly About Its Sacred Cognatogen. It trades out their Mutagen for the ability to gain the powers of the any one domain of the god you worship at any time. You also get Divinely Inspired Alchemy which lets you gain a discovery for a day at alchemist level - 2 when you prepare extracts in exchange for swift alchemy.

So what i want to know is what god and more generally what domains are worth taking for this archetype? I think this archetype could have a lot of versatility to it but I am not sure where to begin in thinking about it becasue of the large amount of domains and sub-domains. Also what discovery's are useful for taking advantage of the Divinely Inspired Alchemy ability?

Edit: I have no idea how linking things works so here is the link: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/alchemist/archetypes/paizo-alc hemist-archetypes/sacrament-alchemist/

Also as for the bashing enchantment the answer is no because the damage dice of the shield and the damage dice of your unarmed strike ate two diffrent thing. And this just lets you use one in place of the other. So things that effct shield damage would not work but things that affect unarmed strike damage would.

The Flanking part means he can throw it at an empty square as part of his attack and use that square to determine if he is flanking with the shield attack since you can ricochet it off walls to attack from different direction. While it is not spell edout that does mean while using this ability you can flank with your shield. But only if your using the empty square you designated as a flanking spot

Also definitely ask your dm about this because most only allow you ignore two weapon fighting penalties because the alternative is broken.

the feat in question is called circling mongoose and is as follows:

Circling Mongoose (Combat)
You keep your opponent on the defensive as you circle
around threateningly.
Prerequisites: Dex 13, Dodge, Mobility, Spring Attack,
base attack bonus +6.
Benefit: When you are adjacent to a foe, as a full-round
action, you can take a full-attack action to make
melee attacks against the foe, moving 5 feet before each
attack. You must move 5 feet before each melee attack you
make, and can’t exceed your maximum speed, exceed
your maximum number of attacks in a round, or attack
any other target until the beginning of your next turn.
You must remain adjacent to the foe, and your movement
provokes attacks of opportunity as normal unless you
succeed at the appropriate Acrobatics checks. If your
first attack against the foe hits, you are considered to
be flanking the foe on your second attack. Subsequent
attacks made as part of the full-attack action continue
to be treated as if you were flanking the foe until one
of your attacks misses, at which point your attacks are
treated normally.
Normal: A character without this feat is limited to only
one 5-foot step during a full attack, taken before, after, or
between attacks.

Hello this my first post first on these forums and I just want to ask about this archetype. I really want to play one of these yet there are a lot of familiars so I thought I'd ask here.

So what are some strong or even just interesting familiars for the Synergist witch?
