Male Human Envoy 3 / Biohacker 2 (Biotechnician) - SP 35/35 - HP 28/34 - RP 4/5 - INIT +1 - Perception +12 - EAC 17 - KAC 17 - FORT +5 REF +5 WILL +4

save vs. radiation with armor and radiation buffer bonuses: 1d20 + 5 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 4 + 2 = 29

Dr. Morvius is able to shield himself from this blast of radiation.

He'll take a moment to retrieve his rad-out serum and drink it.

this will give Dr. Morvius and immediate save vs. the first dose of radiation, and +4 to rolls for one hour.

save vs. effects of first radiation spell with lots of bonuses: 1d20 + 5 + 4 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 4 + 2 + 4 = 29

That took my turn, but I should fine for now as far as radiation goes.

Though weakened by the radiation, Dr. Morvius drags himself into the room. Pointing at the remaining jinsul, he yells "get 'em!"

fort save vs. irradiate: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (4) + 5 = 9

Dr. Morvius begins glowing.

con drain: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Edit to add even with radiation buffer and bonuses from armor he would fail this save.

Morvius calls out "get 'em!"

while pointing at red.

He also shoots his injector pistol at the same jinsul.

Attack roll, injector pistol, medic with get 'em: 1d20 + 7 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 7 + 1 = 17
piercing damage: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

If hit, the target is affected by a basic inhibitor, giving it -2 to Ac for 7 rounds.

Dr. Morvius cranes his neck to see into the room, taking note of the jinsul attacking Z Data Z.

"That jinsul there! GET 'EM!!"

move action for get 'em on red.

Dr. Morvius also takes aim with his injector pistol (also at red)

Morvius points at one of the jinsul (yellow) and yells "get 'em!"

He lowers his voice to one that reflects a proper bedside manner and addresses Z Data Z. "I know a guy back on Absalom that does Akitonian acupuncture. I think he'll be able to get you right in..."

Inspiring boost for up to 9 SP healing.

Okay. With a +16, Dr. Morvius will automatically stop the bleeding condition on anyone who has it (it's a DC 15). He'll also use his advanced medkit to treat deadly wounds on myself, Z Data Z, Second-1, and DuQuesne. If I hit a DC 25 you get your level back in HP.
If I roll a 30 for you, add +4 to your level.

medicine with expertise die, DuQuesne: 1d20 + 16 + 1d6 ⇒ (10) + 16 + (6) = 32

Dr. Morvius takes the case and makes sure to understand their uses.

So the tier 2 antitoxin simply provides the same bonus against poison AND radiation sickness? Or is it something we can take a dose of now which will protect us through most or all of the next part of the adventure?

Dr. Morvius begins quietly speaking with the AI.

"Much has transpired in the recent months and years. The Izalguuns? They have mainly settle here on the planet we call Icefront. It's where this ship currently sits."

Dr. Morvius then harkens back to his time fighting the Jinsul.

Dr. Morvius will add a rad-out serum to his purchases (as well as the radiation buffer mentioned earlier).

I'll list some boons tonight.

Had a rough day yesterday--got my second vaccine, and while I'm fine today, it hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. Headache, achy extremities, etc. I'll get back to posting tonight.

Dr. Creed Morvius enters the briefing, and he simply doesn't look like himself. Though known around the Lorespire complex for his rugged good looks, he appears disheveled, unshaven, and distracted.

He does, however, pay close attention to the briefing once it begins, taking notes on a comm device. He is already well-versed in this new contagion (he IS a doctor, afterall...), but he is careful to document the list of symptoms and information about the disease and those it's affecting.

"I have already spent some time with the Izalguuns, and I believe I formed some positive relationships. I think I can help Naarma come up with a solution for us, and I'm of course willing to do all I can to assist her."

culture: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (19) + 12 = 31

Dr. Morvius will buy a radiation buffer and add it to his armor (swapping it out with his infrared sensors).

I'm sorry to be so wishy-washy. I'm going to go with the character who I originally intended to use here. I'll be needing Gustav this weekend for an online convention, and this character was built for an adventure like this one.

1) Player name: Quirk, Private Eye
2) Character name: Dr. Creed Morvius
3) SFS#-Character#: 278101-702
4) Character Class & Level: Envoy 3 / Biohacker 2
5) Faction: Second Seekers (Luwazi)

Dr. Morvius doesn't care to recount his final memories running from the undead, though he'll never regret the decision he and his fellow Starfinders made.

Later he is pleased to see that everyone on the mission was successfully recovered and returned to life.

Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)

Male Human Envoy 3 / Biohacker 2 (Biotechnician) - SP 35/35 - HP 28/34 - RP 4/5 - INIT +1 - Perception +12 - EAC 17 - KAC 17 - FORT +5 REF +5 WILL +4

Dr. Morvius turns white with horror as he realizes the choice we have.

Will make some posts on discord.

Dr. Morvius goes to work on the root controls at his terminal.

computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15

Let's use the t-shirt reroll for this. Seems like just the right time...

"This should help you a little, Gamuzali!"

Dr. Morvius fires a dart at Gamuzali.

Basic booster for +1 AC. This lasts 3 rounds. Zarg, don't forget you still have a booster that gives you +2 to skill checks.

For now I'll let Zarg make these computer checks. I'll throw out get 'ems, biohacks, and inspiring boosts to keep people going.

Second Seekers (Luwazi Elsebo)

Male Human Envoy 3 / Biohacker 2 (Biotechnician) - SP 35/35 - HP 28/34 - RP 4/5 - INIT +1 - Perception +12 - EAC 17 - KAC 17 - FORT +5 REF +5 WILL +4

Seeing Zarg has finally made it to Dr. Morvius' position, he makes a bold move. He injects Zargothrax with a biohack. "It's okay. I'm a doctor. This should help with concentrating on this terminal."

Minor biohack will give Zargothrax +2 on all skill rolls for three round.

DC 21 will save vs. slow spell: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

Dr. Morvius hears the voice, then feels himself becoming sluggish. Knowing he might not make it to the other terminal with enough time to still act, he stays where he is and attempts to boot the system up.

computers: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (7) + 12 = 19

It appears the terminal is coming to life!

Can two people work at the same terminal? I know the plan was for Dr. Morvius to move toward the other one, but the slow spell threw a wrench into the works...

Dr. Morvius pulls his needler pistol and moves toward the terminals, ready to assist with the bootup.

Double move. Dr. Morvius has a +12 computer skill. I'll assume he can make assist rolls, though this first one is a pretty easy check, so he may do a biohack next round instead.

He fires his injector pistol.

Attack roll, injector pistol, medic: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

Yes. Sorry.

It's a minor biohack to perform first aid at anyone within range of his custom microlab (which can stop bleeding). It's normally DC 15, and Dr. Morvius can't miss this.

Gamuzali feels a gentle pinch on the back of his neck as Dr. Morvius fires a dart at him.

Dr. Morvius calls out, "don't worry! I'm a doctor! This will help!"

Basic booster. +1 AC for three rounds. Also moved as shown.

Dr. Morvius also considers exactly what we're up against here. Just what exactly are these undead?

The check is 31 to identify these creatures using biohacker skills.

Questions: 1. Is the area I places blue "X" on one big building? Or are just the two corner areas buildings? 2. Has Dr. Morvius gotten enough of a look at these yet to identify them?

"Yes! I think Ratatat may be right. If we can get them to shuffle this way, I think we can blast several as they come into view!"
