Need to up your game then :) I have an investigator with a +31 perception, and that still might not be enough to see one.

I thought it was odd that I got picked to judge the shadow dancer with the stars competition, then it occured to me i was the only one that could see it.

And then the ninja's threw down a challenge to a dance fight, and then things got really weird.

You may want to ask the andorans, down the hall on the left. Be sure to ask for the free waterproof bag. You'll need it.

Nope. Miss him too. It was funny when the DM was trying to play osprey as something odd while he was talking to my druid: who talks while in batform hanging upside down. He out ospreyed osprey.

Wait, I don't HAVE to fly around Rahadoum in batform healing pathfinders now that I'm a seeker?

DAMMIT, I knew I should have put a few ranks in sense motive.

She smiles as the memory, but her expression grows sad at the thought of the nation's current troubles.

"It's just really frustrating; Shelyn and I could help SO MUCH if they would let me in, even for a little while. ...I wonder if I could get someone to teleport me past the border guard..."

Well... they do have a point. I've seen a lot of temples get taken over by evil gods, good clerics turned against their own people, religions fighting with each other...

And if you go its not just the border. You'd have to be a little more.. subtle than you are now. If you did the whole BY THE COLORS OF SHELYEN BE HEALED" thing you'd have guards on you in an hour. You'd need to be subtle. Mix up a "herbal remedy" in the back, invoke your gods will out of sight and then brush your hand up against them as you pour it down their throat. You'd have to let the good that was done itself be enough praise for your god. I know a few spots to fly you in if you want.

Silver Crusade

mmhmmms... , and puts a wing down to shake with the joint.

"Yes. They've instituted a no gods allowed policy. No churches, no proselytizing, no believers allowed. Makes it MUCH heard to handle disease out breaks. They'll allow alchemists and bards, but getting rid of diseases is harder for them and if you do TOO good a job the guards start looking at you funny.

Its a lot more strict than what we had even back home, but if a dozen or so people have a mouse brush over their foot and start to get better in one city, and a dozen go to bed and wake up feeling better in another the next day... I think i could do more if i was more systematic about it, but drawing attention to myself might get some of the guards hurt.

We need to take the initiates on a few camping trips I see. Wolves generally wish to be left alone and know that humans are more trouble than they're worth. If you put your food up in trees overnight you'll be fine. You're safer with a pack of wolves than you are in most of the inns the society will arrange for you... though I think that means we need to get better travel agents.

If you're that worried about it, have someone cast purify food and drink and carry a large amount of meat with you. If the wolves are eyeing you and your horses hungrily , drop the meat on the ground and let them fight it out.

However, I do understand that aasimar/tiefling ratios are quite varied by region (and I do admit, I have one of each as well).

So, when did Druid become a race, instead of a class?

1 Human
2 Elves
2 Half-Orcs

Um, yeah.

He takes another drink, grabs a spare mug of ale, and hands it to Doyle.

"So how exactly did you do that?"

Its really, really complicated. The bat dips his head into the mug and takes a few gulps, popping his head out and licking the froth off his face You have to visualize the person as they are, and the animal... in this case a raccoon you want them to be. You have to know what it is on a fundamental level to BE a raccoon: not just what their fur feels like, having a long striped tail and small delicate hands, gozreh knows thats hard enough as it is, but what it IS to be one. How the world looks through their eyes, the colors faded, every tiny flicker of motion popping into your brain like a warning light, the world impossibly huge around you. Then you have to invision one turning into the other and kind of PUSH the thought itself out and around them and squeeze them with it.

Silver Crusade

Well, I finally got a hang of that trick for dealing with criminals we didn't want dead.

I don't know if turning that gun toting burglar into a raccoon was the best choice though, but he seems happy with it..

Daylight spell, oil of daylight, scroll of daylight, dayfinder, batform for sonar, dispel magic...

Ok, I got plan A for deeper darkness who has plan B?

Feesh Newleaf wrote:
Feesh ponders. "Um don't you have to touch the lion to turn it into a kitten and won't it like eat you when you try?"

Nope! You have to be closer than I'd like but its still pretty far away. Great thing about magic is that most of it works at a distance. I usually stay in the back and let conan and the rest of the party get up close and personal with things. Casting while paying enough attention so you don't get a sword to the head is kinda hard. MUCH easier to let your friends cover you.

Even with magic that usually only works at touch you can do it at range. There's a rod that does that for most incantations, and some herbal paste you can get if you have link with an animal.

Silver Crusade

Generally I find that the best use of spells is to prevent injury in the first place. I have a hard time curing the kind of damage a lion can do as fast as they can do it. Usually its just easier to turn them into a housecat and use a wand to fix up the scratches.

Silver Crusade

Perhaps you could sentence him to fight in the worldwound instead of languishing in prison? Death is almost as certain, and more horrible than anything you're allowed to do to him. I hear taldors putting together a foreign army to represent them...

Silver Crusade

"Gets rid of a murderer for one. Mind you there are more humane options." He looks at nonnie "So what happened?"
