Our local lodge gets content starved given the pace that new Society Adventures release. Yes, we can always play older scenarios but replayable adventures have been limited and not everyone has the ACP built up to replay more than a couple of scenarios given our number of local events.

To combat this we've been supplementing convention slots to running adventures with good degree of success, we've run Malevolence, Rusthenge, Redshift Rally, and a few others. Players get to advance a character though multiple levels and develop them in one story then walk away with a level to apply to a society character. That XP and ACP bump are enticing to existing players and a boon to encourage new players that start on an adventure (this happens more than you might think) to continue on their adventure via Organized Play.

While we still have Murder in Metal City scheduled for our convention in November (if anyone is in the Kansas City area and wants to join, Meeple-a-thon is Nov 14-16), the GM for that adventure and all of the players currently signed up have expressed their disappointment in it not being sanctioned. At the very least they've asked if they can earn ACP and GM table credits for it.

Even if it's decided not to have a generic chronicle sheet (an option I would eagerly endorse if we're not going to fully sanction adventures) at a minimum GM's should be able to report for table credit and ACP. Reward your players, and GM's, with SOMETHING for the time they took away from society games but still in our world. They didn't jump to a different system or explore a new genre of tabletop game, they want to spend more time in this system and exploring Golarian and Abasalom Station and The Vast and we should encourage that!

Dear Organized Play Leadership Team:

I'm writing this in response to the Starfinder Society news in the August 13th, 2025 Organized Play Blog.

One thing I realized we didn’t communicate very effectively ahead of time was our sanctioning process for Starfinder (second edition) adventures other than scenarios. We do not intend to issue chronicle sheets for these adventures, outside of special exceptions like Free RPG Day adventures and other single-session adventures. Players are still free to use the character options in these adventures, provided they own a physical or PDF copy of the product, but there won’t be Organized Play credit for playing or GMing these non-Society adventures.

Proposing the Generic Society Chronicle for Longer Adventures

I have seen posts in the past from developers about the challenge of writing chronicles for Sanctioned Adventures. In order to create such a chronicle, the dev needed to:

◈ Read the adventure from beginning to end (a chore for Adventure Paths)!
◈ Find fun and unique equipment to list
◈ Come up with an enticing boon.

I agree that the workload for this is heavy, requiring a bunch of cognitive heavy lifting for something that is not connected directly to Society Play. So I would like to propose a Generic Society Chronicle for longer content. 12 XP, 30 Treasure Bundles equivalent for every longer adventure, whether Adventure Path or for delightful modules like Murder in Metal City. The only unique thing about the chronicle would be the title and product number of the adventure in question. No special equipment or boons included.

Your GM Corps Wants to Run these Longer Adventures

Yes, we want the shorter society content for our late night venues that close early. But we also want longer content that might go over multiple sessions. We're an eager and devoted market...

Can we please have a boon to access the Space Goblin species/ancestry?

A possible way to do this would be similar to the 2 boons System Traveler Ratfolk or Android, where the player must have enough ACP from PFS2E to bring forth a Space Goblin.
Space Goblin was available as a charity boon for GenCon 2021.

As one of the holders of that charity boon currently terrorizing GM's with a fearless Space Gobo, I wouldn't take any offense to treating it like the skittermander boon when they became legal. Let it grant a +2 to a stat and then make space goblins available through ACP.

I know the legendary exploits of the Mop Goblin Incident were spread further than just our game table at Origins. I'd love to start hearing more tales of Goblin inspired shenanigans amongst the stars.

Any number of professions that could use Physical or Life Science as a base skill. (Scientist or Researcher being the low hanging fruit there).

Or perhaps we could show some love to all our low level soldiers out there with their preciously few skill points and a desperate need to fund new doshko's, maybe something similar to allow Athletics or for laborer?

This has come up a few times over the course of a couple AP's in our group.

Scenario is that a ghost possesses a party member, let's say the rogue.

The cleric realizes what's going on and attempts to channel positive energy to damage undead.

If the ghost is possessing the rogue's body (a living vessel for the time being), does the channeled energy damage the possessing ghost since it is an undead creature within range of the channel? Or does the channeled energy get harmlessly absorbed by the living shell of the rogue's body?
