Hey all! I have some questions about how the Pathfinder 2E Remaster will impact future adventure paths/modules. Just a little background, I've played Pathfinder 2E since the CRB came out up until the APG. I stopped playing due to life changes but for the past 6 months I started looking at Pathfinder 2E again. Unfortunately since the APG a lot of content was released from all the different lines that I didn't know if it would be affordable. I realize AoN and PDFs exist but I prefer the physical book format, there's just something about that format that makes the game enjoyable for me. So when I saw the Pathfinder 2E Remaster was announced, I thought this was a great way to start fresh and get into this system again with these and future products in the Rulebooks line and the other book lines. Now I know the reason behind the Remaster was due to the OGL scare earlier this year and that it was best for Paizo to remove themselves from using it. Whenever the adventure paths/modules stop using the OGL, does that mean that starting from Rage of Elements in the Rulebook line and the Tian Xia books in the Setting line only those books will be referenced in the in Adventure line? I have a basic knowledge about the OGL but I'm thinking items, monsters, etc. from pre-Remaster books would not appear in adventure books because if they are referenced then the OGL license would have to be applied to the adventure. Do I have that right? Thank you for helping me understand and I hope everyone in the US has a Happy Thanksgiving! ![]()
Apologies if this has been said before, I tried to search for my question but couldn’t find anything. I’m starting to get back into Pathfinder again and while I know which books will begin to use the ORC (Rage of Elements I think), I was wondering what adventure path/adventure modules will start to begin using the ORC? I wasn’t sure if it was mentioned or it’s TBD. Thanks! ![]()

I only skimmed through the Brevoy section but it looks good. Starts with a feast and uses the influence system in the Gamemastery Guide, some named creatures to fight afterwards in the attack that I don't think were in the game (it's been a minute). Art looks great in the intro, really cool ogre fight art and another art piece with Amiri slamming a chair onto an enemy. |
