Oh wow that was dumb. Thanks for the help.

This is probably a dumb question, but I've spent half an hour on Google and can't figure it out. I'm building a sword binder as a baddie and was wondering if he gets multiple attacks with his sword if the spell targets multiple people/has multiple rays. For instance, if he cast scorching ray he would have 2 rays at 10th level. Would he then get to attack with his sword twice at the cost of one standard action? Or would one of the attacks get cancelled since the ability describes it as one attack?

In my homebrew campaign the party has run afoul of the local thieves guild. The boss of the guild has an artifact which allows him unlimited invisibility and intangibility (I know it's kind of OP, but there are 12 of the artifacts and they all do something ridiculous). I'm having trouble coming up with a build and strategy that is not either a pushover or impossibly annoying. He should be around level 10 and will most likely be on the losing side of the action economy. Any ideas?

Why do people think assassins are so weak? I get that they have lower dpr and whatnot, but whenever I play an assassin I can kill anyone I want without getting in a fight. It's hard to cast hold person with six inches of steel in your throat. I should also add that my fist and longest running character was an assassin so I might be a little biased.

One of the guys I GM for had a belt that allowed him to control gravity in a small radius around him. The party was being questioned about a couple of murders and eventually the guards decided to arrest them. The player used the belt to fly up as fast as possible and got about 120 feet into the air. When a fight broke out on the ground he decided to try to ground pound one of the guards. He shot back to Earth at twice the normal speed and body slammed a guard. They both died horribly and we're smushed together so that any resurrection attempt would surely go horribly wrong. After that, the party surrendered peacefully.
