![]() Sorry rough weekend for me. Male Dwarf Druid. Boar as a pet. I will have the druid focus on casting buffs and support. What is the best way to do healing with a Druid? Use about half my slots for healing spells or is there a feat that will let me spontaneously cast healing maybe? I'm trying to get the gamethread read ASAP. ![]()
![]() Gur wrote: Shouldn't break it much more than if I had a 20 with weapon focus and Power attack. Or was say a spell caster or a Paladin. Now if I had gone ranger with two weapon combat.... well that would be bad with this strength and power attack. Yea I guess I dont have room to talk. I asked for premission to use a largre size warhammer(Earthbreaker) If anyone would have a 5 Cha it would be an Orc around humans right? I am running a Leagacy of Fire right now and I allowed any race and class as well. I took 7 players and there was some issues with combat being too easy. I solved it with doubling all encounters and giving everything the advanced template. So thats where my head was at when I made that comment. ![]()
![]() We invited 2 others but we are not sure if they will even be able to play. So your guess is as good as ours. I know night shade wanted to start this because our other game was sputtering due to life issues of the players preventing them from posting. Id just post up your idea and see what happens. Maybe PM night shade with your character concept. He is way more about telling the story then fiddly combat stats. ![]()
![]() I have done similar things like this running games for my wife in the past. It creates a big problem just taking the ability's away or asking them to restart. Try to come up with an in game curse or something of that nature to "Nerf" her and slowly give her those ability's back. If she did not come up with a back story of her own then you can do it for her. I know next to nothing about gargoyles but maybe she committed a crime and she is found and punished further with magic. Maybe she is not a gargoyle at all but merely looks like one. I feel like there could be some compromise in game here. Since she dropped some major ability's and did not make a fighter type it may be more of a role-playing choice then you think. ![]()
![]() My group is always 2 PC's and me. One of the PC's is my wife. In my opinion the less players you have the more power you can give them and the more rules you can and need to break. You do need to be very carefull with the GM-PC who is "very optimized" where as she is "semi-optimized". You can really overshadow your only player and turn her off from the game if you are not carefull. Also I would suggest try to let her make all the decisions on her own good or bad. If not she will feel like a spectator not the Main character. Ask me how I know.... |
