"Nah, he's human, mother was Korvosan or somesuch." the young man shouts from across the room and then turns back to his friends.

The young woman at the bar comes to your table, bearing another jug of the potent liquor that Corvin drinks. With a smile she places it on the table and returns to the bar, seeming not to notice the odd composition of the group.

I look around "What the hell are those things?" I ask, pointing nonchalantly at the disturbing art on the walls before poking around the room, looking for something of more interest than runes that I can't read.

I'm still here, following Lucienne once he goes deeper into the ziggurat.

I admire the stone, polishing it with my cuff and trying to determine it's value.
Rolled a 2 for Appraise.
I slip the gem into my pocket and look around, inteding to pry as many stones of the sarcophagi as I can.
When Lucien speaks I regretfully say "Alright, let's be off then." and I follow him.

"That was fun." I say and after a moment of not-so-careful consideration, I pull out my dagger and try to prize one of the more valuable looking gems from its resting place.
Failed my Spot check

I stand ready to engage in bravery, adventure, and skulduggery.
Glad to here you're able to post more again.

I decide that while I can't seem to hurt the things I might still be able to help my new friends. I tumble forward to the back of one of the skeletal things so as to limit the places it can go when evading one of my friend's attacks "Someone get it already."
I move to the closest skeleton that is engaged in melee. Tumble 21

I'm still here, awaiting my turn (although I probably can't do anything)

I stand at the entrance to the chamber and shout "Kill the damn thing already! Well... you know what I mean."
I HATE DR.

Lost his monster, master Dirk has. How embarassing.

Cool. Dantis is ready for more looting, stabbing and lying. Glad you're back.

Ah, comprehension dawns.

"Nazis. I hate these guys."

Huh?

"Damn! I hate these things!" I shout as it hits me. I begin to try to make my way over to the passage, more carefully this time.
Tumble 18 (12+6)

I begin into a corner.
There's not honestly a hell of a lot I can do, what with their DR and my max damage output.

As I don't have my character sheet with me I'm going to delay my action until Init 15 if possbile.

Crap. I can't even sneak attack undead.
I spring forward with a shout of something in an obscure halfling tongue, stabbing at the corpse rising out of the nearest coffin with both blades.
Attack (rapier) 17 (11+5+1) Damage: 5 (4+1)
Attack (short sword) 14 (8+5+1) Damage: 2 (1+1) Thanks Arik!

Can I look into the coffins that have moving lids and see whats causing them to move? Spot 18 (13+5)

Sorry for my absence. I also think that I need to clarify my actions; I was looking around the ruby. I never actually made a move to touch it. Initiative 20 (12+8)
"I know not to touch it! What do you think I am? An idiot? I'm just looking at it to see if I can determine if there are any traps."

I carefully study the area surrounding the rubies, a look of calculation on my face.
How big are the rubies? Appraise (taking 10) 15 (10+5) Search (taking 10) 17 (10+6+1)

Ooh! Rubies...
I begin to look at the rubies with a greedy glint in my eyes.
Glad to have you back Dirk.

I cautiously look around the room for threats and then scurry forward to the neares sarcophogous. I begin to carefully examine it, looking for traps and anything of value.

I stay where I am and say "I'll stay in the back." in a quite voice.

Can I climb up above the door?
If so:

I nimbly climb up to the top of the doorframe and perch there with my rapier at the ready and a wicked grin on my face, anticipating jumping down on top of some unsuspecting foe This is gonna be fun! I think.
Climb 23 (18+5). I'm using a ready action to jump down on top of anything that exits through the doorway.
If I can't lurk atop the doorframe:
I stand as close to the door as I can without being in the way and prepare to stab anything that comes out of the building.
Again using a readied action.

"Absolutley, lets go in and see whats there. I bet magic-weilding Demon warriors would have some treasure." I begin looking at the base of the pyramid (how far away is it?) to see if I can find an entrance or see any signs of danger.
Spot 14 (9+5)

I look at the pyramid with wonder for a minute before my expression changes to one of both warieness and greed "I've never seen anything like it. Have any of you? What could be inside?"

I pocket it with a smile of respect and gratitude to the cheif. Mabye it'll fetch me some gold when I get back to civilized lands I think.

I follow Lucien's lead, saying "I know little of you're customs but I would be honored to stay with the leader of you're people." As I take the talisman in my hands I breifly examine it, trying to see if there are any interesting features or if I can determine its value.

I follow the lead of the others who are more experienced with this sort of culture. As we enter the tent I scan the tent, looking for both possible exits should things go bad and anything valuable.
Spot check 17.

I'll have limited internet access over the next few days; probably until Thursday night. I might be able to post occasionally but don't wait for me.

I follow the tribesmen as well.

I figured that it was better than telling them that I was a theif who was adventuring with you looking for trouble and a way to escape the city where he would soon be arrested.

"I am the sole survivor of a merchant vessel that was raided by pirates several weeks ago. I am traveling with these people because, well, I have no where else to go now. this said with a look of deep sorrowI mean no disrespect traveling through you're lands, and would be greatly honored if you allowed us to stay with you for the night, surely the hospitality of your people would be more freindly than the cold ground." I say in my most convincing tone, trying to evince sympathy from them from my sorry tale. I also try to gesture in a way that shows respect and deference.
Bluff 23 (19+4)

Having many years experience dealing with the toughs on the streets of the city I grew up in I see that they are more cautious than threatening. "What are you seeking here? If you are seeking food from the owlbear's flesh than help yourselves." I attempt to appear non-threatening but my hands remain near enough to my weapons that should the Jotnir become hostile I could reach them quickly.
Sense Motive 16 (11+5)

When it comes around to my watch I rise from my bedroll and ready my bow before sitting down in near the campfire. I stay alert, looking and listening for anything that might be dangerous to our group. my hearing is very acute but, not having terribly good vision at night I don't see much.
Listen 27 (natural 20+7) Spot 12 (7+5).

I smile back at Wulf, showing no fear. I then walk over to where my bedroll is and use it for a pillow, soon falling asleep with my weapons in hand.

"I'll take second watch." I say and roll out my bedroll by the fire.

"Okay, it looks like I'm not gonna get anything other than riddles out of you so nevermind. I don't want to know anymore" With that I begin to rummage through my pack, looking for my rations.

"Theres no need to be nasty about it. I have been listening but I still don't know what this 'Ghost Woman' is. Is she some kind of god or is she your patron or what?"

"The Ghost Woman? Whats that?" I ask as I look at Lucien inquisitively, ignoring the barabrian's muttering. I get off of my pony and begin to look around for firewood while whistling a merry tune from my homeland.

I smile and say "I'm not hurt." before getting back in the saddle of my war pony.

I hope this isn't out of turn.
I take a step backwards and then kneel down, steadying my bow. When I feel that I have a clear shot I fire but a gust of wind knocks my aim off and my arrow goes flying into the grass, several feet from its mark.
Attack roll: 6 (3+7-4).

I stand in the stirrups of my saddle and look towards the approaching beast, trying to judge it's distance from our group.
"Hey, does anyone know what a big brown creature that's got sort of winglike arms and a face sort of like an eagle's might be? Becuase there's one coming towards us and it doesn't look happy." I say as I jump down from my warpony's back. I ready my bow and nock an arrow from a quiver hidden somewhere in my cloak. I take careful aim and wait for it to come within range for an easy shot, hopefully one that can disable it in a single hit or at least cause it sufficient harm to scare it away.
I'm using a readied action to fire an arrow as soon it comes within 30ft. Since it (hopefully) won't have acted yet it'll be flat-footed and I'll get Sneak Attack damage.
As soon as it comes within the proper range I let loose the arrow with a quick whispered prayer in my native tongue. My arrow flys toward's its target but the sun's rays blind me for a moment and I can't tell if my arrow struck true or not.
Attack roll: 15 (8+7). Damage: 3 If sneak attack: 8.

Initiative 17 (9+8)

I suppose we must resort to drastic measures. I say we start burning the main market of this town. I'll start at one end and work my way to the other, lighting everything in my path afire. Then, once I've dealt with the city guard I'll declare myself king of this place. All hail King Dantis! Whose with me?

Should I actually go out into the marketplace and steal one or do you want to just say I find one and 'borrow' it?

"Should we have to flee I would prefer to do so on the back of a mount. I also won't be able to keep up with everyone for long periods of time considering that my legs are shorter than everone else's."

"Alright. Give me fifteen minutes, mabye less and I'll be back with a mount for myself."
I dash of into the market place.
Is there anywhere from which I could aquire a mount nearby?

I look up at Davos and say "I would appreciate if I was allowed to ride on the back of your horse. I have none of my own and I doubt that we have the time to steal another one. I also lack skill at riding. I am quite light and shouldn't slow us down any."

I say "As long as I'm not being burned at the stake I'm happy. How xenophobic are we talking?"
