Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

boon : 1d20 ⇒ 15

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

I was thinking it would go up to next week at worst, so yeah right on time. Big sigh of relief !

No day Job for me*

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan has to finish it quickly. He has the feeling that everybody else ran out of gas several minutes ago at least and while he doesn't himself need too much, everybody else might. So he moves and tries to land something big.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 14
Damage : 1d10 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 12

He can't catch a break, low two times in a row. Hopefull this is enough to hit, but he's not betting on it.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Clink clonk clank, that's where his full plate really slows him down to a fault. But given he's not trained like a fighter would in that aspect. that will have to do.

Given how the map is, I double move but I probably AoO on the penultimate square of movement

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan just slightly moves because he might be very armored that he doesn't want to tempt the devil just yet, given he has already been burned for trying a couple of minutes ago ... hopefully Constantin will still be able to get the flank despite the wall possibly hindering his movement possibilities.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 11

But this time he flunks the hit quite hard.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

I'm in a bit of a pickle, I'm due to play that character in the module Fangwood Keep on Saturday and I'm afraid the special risks blocking him.

This is for lore reasons : the module happens at the border between Molthune and Nirmathas and the char is a Molthuni Arsenal Chaplain, so that's why it thematically fits

I just hope the last fight ends up before then, because I don't have good alternatives at tier 3-5

Would it be ok if I leave the table on Friday afternoon or it's a big no-no ?

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan moves towards the urdefhan trying to get a decent pop at.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 29
trying to confirm : 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 = 12
Damage : 1d10 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 13

Great start, some ultimate sputtering, but at least the regular hit has a maximum effect despite the humanoid's resistance.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan has to move to give flank to Constantin because the latter will probably be unable to move himself, but first the matter of the hound yelling the hell out if it.

Will save :1d20 + 7 ⇒ (4) + 7 = 11

With Azura's bonus it goes up to 13. Dan provokes an AoO from the urdefhan because of moving

He quietly thanks Azura for singing because he knows that without that, he would panic like a headless chicken. he moves towards the hound, luckily moving just enough to get some flanking. He hopes he won't have to use the gauntlet because the weapon is weak, so broken or not, he will try with the bastard sword first. Hit follows at the hound soon after, but not before casting Divine Favor to compensate for the poor state of the weapon.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 - 2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 16
Damage : 1d10 + 3 - 2 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 3 - 2 + 2 = 7

Due to the hound's thicker skin, the weapon doesn't pierce as much but it's still something.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Regardless of who Dan will target first, priority is to move enough to get in range of them, because he sadly won't be able to move and attack during the same six seconds. Instead of moves twice and cast a spell in the process.

I cast Shield of Faith before moving, AC is up to AC27/T13/FF27

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan is ok just moving a little bit and not provoking any stray hit, but still providing flank to Constantin. He hopes that his spare weapon won't suffer the same fate as his main one ... but he almost forgot, before moving, he will cast Divine Favor as a swift action like before, now that Ranginori has given him some spellcasting again.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 23
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14
Shatter damage : 3d6 ⇒ (6, 2, 6) = 14

He lands an excellent hit, but his spare weapon is broken too.

Sounds like I'll have to resort to the gauntlet equipped with the Full plate. Sigh really unlucky ... !

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

If the AoO is enough to defeat that caryatid column then I'd move towards green, it's probably double move, drawing the second masterwork bastard sword from the waist

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

I was out of spellcasting before the start of part 3, low level warpriests run on fumes very quick, though on a regular scenario that wouldn't have been as much as a problem I think. But in a special you really feel it.

Dan tries to land an attack through flanking with Constantin

I calculated the Caryatid Column vs damaging the Masterwork bastard sword, luckily the blade didn't get damaged (hardness 10), but not a lot of hp apparently, though masterwork helps a bit

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (15) + 9 = 24
Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13
Caryatid column damaging the weapon ? : 3d6 ⇒ (4, 5, 4) = 13

Maximum physical damage on the AoO but now oops the weapon is broken yuck. Luckily I have a spare bastard sword, changing it after the fight

After the column stands up, he tried to use the oppotunity to strike, and he does it to great effect, though sadly at the expense of his own weapon which is becoming not so useful in the next seconds. So he tries to put the construct down again with his regular attack this time.

Dan provokes an AoO again

Trip attempt : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19

The caryatid becomes horizontal again so at the very least it's a neutral effect if he gets hit, and if he doesn't get hit, everything is a bonus.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

I think I might try the puzzle to heal Constantin next round if he's that badly injured

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan isn't able to do much damage and his weapon starts to break a bit too much to his taste. Lost for lost, he tries to trip the creature down.

I don't have Improved Trip so I provoke an AoO

Trip attempt : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

Not a terrible try but it could have been better. Hopefully this is enough to see a horizontal statue instead of a standing one.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan positions himself just enough so that he stays opposite to Constantin. A longsword strike got a little too close to him for comfort, so he retaliates, or at least he tries to.

attacks with a longsword : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (20) + 9 = 29
tries to confirm : 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 7 + 2 = 10
Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7

What could have turned out a masterstroke ends up slightly worse, but at least he does scratch a little bit.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan can't quite move fast enough to benefit from any position, so he will have to do with only moving and attacking what the heck Red is.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (5) + 7 = 12

But the strike is a bit too soft and merely grazes the creature without cutting deep enough.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan doesn't have much illusions about identifying much, but he will give a small try, who knows what might happen :

Knowledge planes : 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11

He doesn't know much better either, so seeing Constantin is trying to smash the circle, he does the same thing.

attack the circle : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan isn't very good at seeking track, so he will focus on trying to help, hopefully without losing too much time in the process. If he has to do the main attempt, he'll try but he won't be very comfortable in that aspect

Aid Survival : 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

His sense of tracking tells him this won't be his moment.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan can carry enough that he eventually thought that he won't just carry pitons, but also a silk rope. This isn't that much more expensive than a regular rope and he had enough budget, so he figured this could be a decent opportunity cost.

Do you require anything specific to tie the rope, like a Climb check or sth like that ?

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Just in case of, I'm using two charges of my wand of cure light wounds given I was injured

Cure light wounds : 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (7, 3) + 2 = 12

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Perception check : 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (19) + 6 = 25

Climb check : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

Survival : 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8

He years for open space. The more climbing and narrow spacing he feels and the more he feels ill at ease. But hopefully he helps the party get through

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

He tempted the devil a little too much and got sliced as a result. At least one of the undeads is destroyed as a result and remains only one. He doesn't think he'll be able to help Constantin with the flanking this time, so he'ell have to do with just regularly moving at hitting once, assuming it's accurate enough since it's a bit scattered all over the place.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 7 + 2 = 16
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

His sense of deja vu. He's not thinking twice, same strike again. He moves out and provokes an attack of opportunity that hopefully he will evade, or is he tempting luck and getting struck as a result, fate will tell.

Provoking an AoO on purpose hoping the creature doesn't have Combat Reflexes. Hopefully I benefit from flanking, if not, remove 2 from the attack result

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 23
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

His hit is pretty good despite expecting the bone absorbing part of it.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

He's not too happy to having to climb down or up again. Give him a flat terrain everyday of the week. He certainly won't complain at all Azura helping him and adresses her a big sigh of relief like he owes her a solid after this is concluded.

Climb : 1d20 + 4 + 2 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 4 + 2 + 4 + 2 = 28

Somehow he lands pretty well on his feet and marvels at his good luck.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan doesn't need much to try to help Constantin - he just moves enough to keep the flanking in place. He wasn't expecting the wysp's self-sacrifice and the following hefty hit the creature landed on Constantin ... the faster the creature goes back down on the floor, the better.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 21
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

He's able to chip in the gargoyle's skin again despite more than a half of the hit getting absorbed.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan is a bit pissed off - lamenting he has to face what amounts to a not-so-insurmontable creature but having one ability specifically tailored to the equipment he currently has. His ultimate goal is to kick the floating ball out of the sky because of being the obvious buffer, but can't charge at it without getting intercepted by the gargoyle, so for now he focuses on this one, but not without casting Divine Favor like the previous times.

attack roll : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 26
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

He has to put his maximum strength to do something, but at least this is something. He's more happy that Constantin will sneak the heck out of the creature.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan clearly sees Constantin waiting for the flank. He positions himself as seen fit and gets on flanking position. He hopes to do sufficient damage to get through the gargoyle's damage reduction, and takes appreciation in benefiting from Echetelien's pinpoints.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 7 + 2 + 2 = 28
Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

He hits well, but his weapon being nonmagical makes the hit dull enough that doesn't get through the creature's carapace. He feels even worse knowing his attack was almost accurate enough to go into overdrive.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Just waiting for when it's my turn

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Will save : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Dan is luckily able to shrug off the sense of dread that was overwhelming him for a couple of seconds. He didn't have time to use his War Blessing, but he doesn't care. He buffed himself and he's flanking, hopefully this does the trick, because this is very weighted attack, but with an uncertain accuracy.

attacks with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 7 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 18
Damage : 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

The only thing that changes pre-buffing or not is whether I'll be able to use my War Blessing or not. Assuming we have time to buff then yes, otherwise I will only have Divine Favor, which I'll cast regardless because I can do it as a swift action

Dan just has enough move to sprint towards the skeletal creature, because he doesn't see any obstacle in the straight line he's using for his move. He has nothing left in the tank for the next six seconds given he doesn't have enough speed otherwise to charge and attack once.

If it's not possible to run there, I'll just double move and feel free to move me back where it's still a legal move. If it's a run, I'm flat-footed but given I have 0 dex modifier, I don't care that much

Divine Favor is +2 luck bonus to attack rolls and damage (I have the Fate's Favored trait) and the War Mind Blessing, I choose the +1 dodge bonus to AC (assuming I got it)

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan tries to climb, although he hopes nobody is around to watch, because it might result in very comedic attempts.

Climb : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

I already used my reroll, so yeah forgot, Snapleaf it is. Hopefully it is enough to not fall like a plank

Dan totally forgot one item he has from the briefing. Azura gives him a timely reminder to either use/munch that leaf.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan isn't very happy that a ghostly effect is influencing him, he will try to shake it off to the best possible.

Will save : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 = 10

But he panicks bad enough that he doesn't care where he might go, but in the process might trip over the sleet of ice. He's hoping Azura can do something before he goes full Benny Hill.

In the case I need to roll Acrobatics and else (and I also expect to have to do some healing) :

Acrobatics : 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (3) - 2 = 1
Climb : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Wand of Cure Light Wounds : 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (1, 5, 1) + 3 = 10

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan is down bad so he's using 3 charges to get back up to full. @Azura : I think think the same character has to succeed twice

His full plate prevents him from taking the lead when it comes too climbing walls or obstacles, so he would risk make the party completely lost if he takes the lead. That said he will try to help his teammates to the best of his abilities, and reveals in the process he has his own climbing kit.

Aid climbing (either Azura or Constantin) : 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16

It could have been far, far worse. At least he succeeds at helping.

Either it hinges on what Constantin will roll, or if Azura is main, it should be already ok I think, but the GM decides

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan is getting awfully singed by the elemental. He might not last that much longer before he goes down. He just steps in 5 feet so he doesn't provoke any attack of opportunity, but still moves a little. He hopes to hit something significant.

attacks wth a bastard sword : 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

But he's back again to his old habits. Not again ...

Silver Crusade

1 person marked this as a favorite.

Daniel gets a little singed by the hit of the Water elemental, but he was expecting way worse, so he doesn't feel that bad I note the damage I got, as I quoted earlier, you did hit, I just forgot to temporarily edit it on my profile. But now the AC is back to 25

But he's hellbent on finish the water elemental as soon as possible. The less he suffers, the better. If he could find a way to permanently keep the Hit button On instead of half malfunctioning, he would smile a lot more. But after a second, he tries to think about the glass half full, regardless of the strength of the hit.

@Mustaparta : I included the charge bonus, I didn't cast Divine Favor this time, so probably a miss. My AC is down to 23 until the start of my next turn

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan has a sense of déjà vu. Mephit and ice (or water) elemental, not that he minds another fight, just that he wants to see something else. But he has to do what he has to do and punch the crap out of them. He charges towards the closest creature. He charges towards Dark blue, +2 to attack but -2 to AC

Attack with a bastard sword : 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (6) + 9 = 15
Damage : 1d10 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

He doesn't look very inspired so he likely missed and did a tepid hit in the process.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan would have liked to talk to the spirit a little further to understand more of what waits them, but he will have to do with the few the party got. Given they've been pointed towardsa cache of items, he doesn't feel that offended either. He's a bit distracted so he barely registers Constaintin asking a question

" Probably a potion of endure elements but otherwise I don't need that much "

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Talking to a spirit from another world is certainly a weird experience, but he'll try to mumble something in Common hoping the other side will understand. His cologne is still holding for a little bit, but after that sequence it will certainly be gone.

Diplomacy : 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (3) + 12 = 15

He's not convincing at all, so he's recalling some past knowledge to allow himself to retry because that kind of failure will make it worse. Dot of shame, 4-star GM

Diplomacy : 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (12) + 16 = 28

He manages to salvage the possible catastrophe before six seconds elapse. He releases a sigh of relief.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan turns to the friendly elemental and starts to agitate his own Wand of cure light wounds. He doesn't mind tapping the creature several times over. He estimates the creature might need three hits.

Wand of CLW, three charges : 3d8 + 3 ⇒ (3, 8, 1) + 3 = 15

It should be enough hopefully. He apppreciates the creature being willing to help the party, but ...

" It's always good we might be able to count on your in the future, just don't overdo it. You just got back from something very perilous after all. "

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Dan is reasonably happy that the party arrived on time to prevent an execution. Seeing that Azura has the talking in control, he doesn't feel the need to immediately intervene. He's more anxious about making sure the other side of the aquatic coin is stabilized Stabilize, tieup with ropes and then waking one of them up. Not the vampiric mist though, too much of a risk, but uses some Eau de Cologne to make his own diplomatic effort a bit easier before starting

He can speak Aquan so that's how he approaches the woken up member of the hostile party. He doesn't start in a threatening manner but he makes clear that he would prefer an honest response, even if it's one he doesn't like.

" What the heck is happening there ? Elementals ganging up on a lone one to execute if we didn't arrive on time ? Who's your leader, and who's the leader of the one you intended to execute ? What's happening on that side of the asteroid ? "

Diplomacy : 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (9) + 12 = 21

Not the best of efforts, but all things considered it could be way worse, if it doesn't work, unfortunate but he hope it does the trick.

Silver Crusade

Male Human Male Human - Warpriest 3 - AC 25/T 11/F 25 - HP 27 - Fort : +5, Ref +1, Will : +7 - Perception +5 - Init +0

Sounds like only one elemental is remaining. He doesn't rethink it twice, he keeps playing the whack-a-mole game.

Attacks with a long sword : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (6) + 10 = 16

Not too bad but could have been better. Just hurts the ego that this is a small shot and that somebody else will probably knock the creature unconscious, but not like he will get bothered that much.

Dan doesn't have specific preferences on which one to strike, every remaining opponent is fair game as far as he's concerned. He chooses to attack Blue

Attacks with the sword : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (9) + 10 = 19
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (9) + 5 = 14

Not sure he successfully landed the hit, but if this is the case, it is a pretty hard one.

One of the elementals is too close to comfort, but it's the least of his worries compared to the now dissipated mist. He can at least land a big hit towards that one Dan attacks Blue

Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6

The weapon almost flubs off his hand going on the ground, he can't seem to break off the cycle of alternating between highs and lows.

He was thinking he would have to move all the way to the creatures in order to do something, so it's a relief that he doesn't have to move that far if a mist is moving. He takes his initial 6 seconds of preparation to influence himself with a War Blessing +1 Insight bonus on attack rolls for 1 minute

He then uses a swift action to also cast Divine Favor on himself and then moves towards the mist to try attacking it.

Attack with the bastard sword : 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (7) + 10 = 17
Damage : 1d10 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8

Dan isn't sure everything is going through given his weapon is nonmagical, but it's something at least.

Dan nods at Azura in an affirmative way.

" Oh sure I have my own wand, don't worry about it. Would be very crass if I didn't anyway. "

He takes out his wand from his backpack and estimates he might tap two times.

Wand of Cure Light Wounds : 2d8 + 2 ⇒ (4, 3) + 2 = 9

He then uses a third charge and then good to go. Dan is back to full

Whether he prefers to defeat as many enemies as possible in his more abstract pursuit of vengeance doesn't really matter. He's also mindful of his healing resources.

" Not my personal cup of tea but if you think there's better results trying to negotiate, I'm good to go with it. "

He then stops hiding his holy symbol under the full plate, revealing he worships Ragathiel. He then explicits that he doesn't have any specific equipment to help negotiate so thathe would have to rely only on his talking skills and that makes him uncomfortable.

This elemental is a real pain in the .... holds back on the curse word, because he knows Terran, so he could really insult the creature if he wanted to. It would just serve no purpose though. He will try again to take a more decent pop at it.

Attack with the bastard sword : 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28
Damage : 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14

This time it's much better, he hits accurately and in a hard way, hopefully the creature goes down for the count. If that's the case, then he starts to think about how to attack the mephit

Current HP : 16/27

The elemental gets close enough for him to get a pop at him. He walks towards the creature while he grips his weapon. He could try with the gauntlet, but he has low expectations for the integrated weapon, in his mindset, go big, or don't even try, one swipe.

Attack with the bastard sword : 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14
Damage : 1d10 + 7 ⇒ (2) + 7 = 9

Bad luck strikes as he looks not so inspired and he strikes hot air.

A 3 and a 2 on both dices, it's pretty cursed there
