Send an email to Paizo customer service and give them the name of your retailer. They can help educate the retailer, and also help you get a replacement if the retailer is stubborn.

I don't know of any human culture off-hand where the family doesn't name the child, so it's a bit odd in the first place to choose your own name.

It's quite common for both children and adults in European cultures to select a religious name when they join the church (Catholic) or for adults who join religious orders. Adults choosing a name for themselves when they join a religious group is pretty common across the globe.

Hey Folks, the purpose of our Lite PDFs is not to reduce overall filesize, but to improve the graphics performance within the PDF. As the Starfinder Core Rulebook does not utilize as intensive of resources in its layout, there are no artifacts for us to strip. Additionally, the layout itself does not lend itself to being downsampled in an elegant way to get across the look and feel of the brand.

Hi sorry, quick question, did people with a subscription already get their books/pdfs or something? How is it that people have the rules to look through?

Some of us who ordered physical copies of the books have received them already. And no, I don't have a subscription. I just ordered the Core Rulebook, so I don't get a PDF either.
