let me start by saying i wasnt sure which forum this belonged in so i went with both (its for a homebrew game but i need some serious advice lol)

so my sister came up to me and said you play that pathfinders stuff right?
to which i replied why yes i do but out of players right now
she said i have a idea for a game that i would like to try
i asked what it was and this is what she said

there are three monsters fighting an ancient battle to be the (best?)

the Dragons, Masters of the air and sky

the Leviathans, Masters of the sea and water

and finally

the Bohemeths, Masters of the earth

now they are all but extinct so they have humans fighting thier battles for them

so human (a) bob wants to worship dragons so he goes up on the mountains (closest he could get to being in the air) he builds a temple up there to the dragons

human (b) steve wants to worship leviathans so he goes down to the coast (closest thing he could get to being in the water) he builds a temple there to the leviathans

human (c) frank wants to worship Bohemeths so he goes to the plains or desert or caves (not sure on this one) he builds a temple there to the Bohemeths

Simple so far

if humans a b or c see each other they fight it out in the name of thier gods ( as humans always do)

now the problem is there is no stats for leviathans or bohemeths in pathfinders (bohemoths are giant earth titan things)

now i was thinking if you can earn enough favor with your particular gods they grant you a paragon of thier faith

dragons grant you a dragon familiar that will grant you perception bonuses or something

leviathans grant you a eel sized leviathan familiar that will grant you the breath under water ability

bohemoths grant you a dwarf sized bohemoth that will grant you a str bonus

each familar will grow large enough for the pcs to ride eventually
as they grow the bonuses they grant will become greater and greater

K wanna make a kitsune bard with the idea of I wanna steal (pick pocket) and use diplomacy to suggest they sign the deed to their house to me lol

So I want a high cha dex based bard

If I can get the nine tails be cool and I'm thinking of using realistic likeness kitsune thing too so if anyone had build ideas and feat ideas that would be greAt

Dunno what for combat probably crowd control

Archetype ideas helpful too

Thanks in advance

So know I been posting a lot lately lol but I don't like the the current titan mauler archetype for barbs

In my mind I think fighter would work better (more of a tactical way they learned to kill the bigger buddies)

So things wanted on it is.
A can actually wield weapons of a larger category (read bunch of titan mauler threads that said it doesn't work like that but I thought they had a power lvl 3 I thinkin was)

Extra damage against bigger creatures

And other goodies
But no rare seeing as it will be fighter not barb

Is this too ridiculous of an idea?
Can anyone advice on what to add (as most of you guess for a one on one campaign so not worried about being too broken)

So I'm not to good at these gestalt chars

I get the basics though and would think bard/cleric would be best combo making ultimate support char and can rp it as a preacher man

One of those evangelist people who are loud and heal people

What sure general thoughts and proposed build

so i wanna design a legendary/intelligent/scaling weapon for a game with just one player gonna start out as a "rusty sword"

in the begining rusty sword will use the stats for
LONGSWORD
Price 15 gp
Type martial
This sword is about 3-1/2 feet in length.

it will be a very powerful thing by lvl and then mythic later

need a good backstory and weapon progression (pc lvl 1 probably will just be a simple rusty sword)

as the pc lvls they can "unlock" secrets about the weapon and learn about its origin and what not

\if anyone can help that would be great

the idea popped in my head this morning was wondering how hard would it be to run a "i got shrunk now must get big" campaign

or the classic "i got shrunk by X but miniture race Y needs help so i will help them then get bigger when i am done helping"

any ideas on making this possible or if anyone has ran this and has any advice or ideas feel free to post lol

So fiance agreed to play as long as it's just me and her
(She tried it before when we had 9 players but got bored waiting for her turn lol)

So I'm looking for ideas for a good campaign idea for one people (prob not buying nothing too broke lol)

Looking for char idea for her (synth or pally seen like smart ideas)

And looking for general beginner tips and stuff I can pass along (not the best at explaining some stuff)

Been trying to work on some campaign stuff but one problem I keep running into is end goals

Every player comes up with a reason his character does what he does and I can do that most of time but bad guy goals elude me

Besides the unleash deep dark evil or take over world with undead or Disney's bad guy just trying to destroy one particular town everyday

If anyone can post some end goals they or their gms have used or wanted to use that would help

So I wanna make a low magic campaign...

Everyone has different ideas on what low magic means so what I'm thinking is mages (anyone that can use magic) were outlawed as to not take over world (not sure if just arcane or divine too or what)

So players can make martial characters in attempt to hunt down rogue mages (or free mages in custody or what have you)

Or they can make mages in attempt to free the brethren from the tyrannical oppression of magic

Or they can be mixed martial and mages but not sure how well that would work

Main questions are.

Who would be good "peacekeepers" and what would be good end goal (or bbeg)

And would you outlaw divine too and what about magic gear? It is usually assumed you have magic gear by a certain point but low magic might hinder that

I had a player wanted to.take skald bard and dirge bard archetypes (houseruled can take both but with one summoning power) he chose to summon undead with dirge bard wanted skald to make them rage (I said it was fine would work)

So I like this idea but two problems there are no meatshields in party and they starting out at lvl 5

He isn't sure how to build it asked me for a rough draft type thing to help out, but I'm not sure either

It is a 25 point buy
Looking for weapon ideas and feat ideas even ideas on spells

Thanks yall

For my new campaign I decided to start the PC's in a prison camp.of sorts

This camp is ran by dwarves who want to use non lethal (as to not lose the work force)

The prisoners are put to work doing one of three things
Mining. In the middle of the camp.is a giant hole go down hole and bunch of tunnels

Hunting. To provide food for prisoners and gaurds heavily supervised

And smelting and crafting.
Who better to make all the armor and weapons than prisoners no pay lol

The players have a chance to.take over the camp (keeping production) or
Take over and kill everyone (using it as base of operations)

They wont be able to buy stuff due to Mega ultra evilness
That's why I made the prison camp into a crafting thing if they keep the prisoners (more of allies after prison break) than they will continue crafting but will get paid the PC's get armor and weapons and miscellaneous items from their camp and a steady supply of prisoners

One question I have is do I hint to the players sublty and diplomacy is better than murderhobo. For this part or let them play it out with no hints

Next one what kind of builds should nonlethal using dwarves have

And any ideas on how to run it for the break what kind of skills should I use for the mining hunting or crafting (the crafting I know)

And any general advice would help thanks

SO instead of saying you spend $$$gold at store and have enough to make 'potion' I would rather add herbalism skinning and mining and then players can take craft alchemy or armors or weapons or just profession skinning and trapper

Has Anyonr done this

And what would be best way to inpliment it

So having started witcher 2 decided be cool char (original i know)

So on to boards I came searches and saw inquisitor is favored advice

So I started looking up Inquisitor but didn't see a archetype for monsters
Is there one for monsters or is it the base inquisitor

Any other advice on making witcher

As for feats so far all I got is brew potion... since he seems like a glorified alchemist (but alchemist class doesn't have right feel)

1 person marked this as a favorite.

I took a arrow to the knee .. ok not really

After a million and 2 paladin falls threads I decided to help people out these are just somethings I've seen a paladin fall for:

Someone sneezed and he didn't say 'deity' bless you

Mind control

Forgot to clean up his room before adventuring

And bard with a whip trip...

Stairs

And flat surfaces

If anyone else has anything that has made a paladib fall comment below

So I originally just threw together a 4armed race for PC's but now the vocational are gonna play a somewhat major role in my campaign and the next 3 or so campaigns

So originally I had:
Humanoid. 0rp
Medium. 0rp
Normal speed 0rp
Advanced stats (might be changed explain in a second lol) 4rp
Multiatmed (4 arms) 4rp
Shards of the past (renamed ancient) 4rp
And a static feat (multiweapon fighting) (to be changed) 2rp

Appearance:
Scaly 4 arms
And color dependant (to be explained)
About 7 to 8 feet tall I think

Color dependant:
When born voxay have 1 of 5 skin colors
Red, blue, green, purple, and black.
These colors symbolize their rank in the world
It also what I wanted main stat to be
Blue for casters or Wis
Green for melee so dex or str
Red int skill monkeys such also vendor npcs most common one
Black as well as purple are rare most PC's will not be either (except for my first campaign)
Black is evil (any stat) if studying necromancer type stuff skin gradually turns black
And purple (cha based class) also royalty not all purple skins are kings but all kings are purple skin if that makes sense

So why I gave them what I gave them...
Speed normal vs slow
I gave them normal because they are not fighters or stout like dwarves

Advanced stats:
Originally I wasn't sure what kind of stats I wanted to give these I wanted it to change with color as mentioned above

Multiarmed:
There isn't a good 4 armed race for PC's I wanted to fix that
Originally when becoming king you get 2 extra arms (total of six)

Shards of the past(ancient):
So I knew I wanted to have a race that outlived even elves not quite as old as dragons but they are closest
This was the closest think I can find maybe knowledge history and knowledge...

Static feat: once again wanted something that changed with color didn't know how that would work so I gave them a feat that would help any class I thought

So to become king it is family based father son type thing for son to ascend to throne he must seek out a dragon that is the paragon of thier God (I like the idea of kings going through a test of strength sort of thing)

I don't know much about thief God yet. I just know that the voxay are all about knowledge and music (bards are usually the kings)

In campaign part two the voxay are asked to assist in helping eradicate the undead legion that took over most of world so if that is useful to build of race...

Basically that's all I got for race and concept
I need help.flushing out race and fluff from someone who is better at these than me lol

First campaign 'undead city'
Basically PC's are evil
One vampire one lich
They will do what evil people do raise hell gather a following
By end of campaign they will have a city and it will be huge and the vampire will have quite a huge following of vampires ...

Now that being said the Capitol city has holy army its going to attack

Holy Capitol city is bbeg so to speak

To 'win' this campaign they need to take over the world

Right easy enough

So after they defeat the bbeg I want them to escape (maybe by their God or by their doing I don't know)

Second part
PC's roll holy based chars (paladin oracle cleric so on)
Then they are "training" to take back thief home world
200 years has passed in old world
Either (200/400/2000) years has passed in new world
Most people can't remember the old world 'just stories from parent to kid passed on'

The leaders of new world (bbegs in old campaign) made a deal with gods to live until they could find champions to regain the old world

Right so no one cares bout old world until they undead find their way into new world and start attacking new world

The PC's take the role of trainees that show promise so they get sent on a quest to 'gain the favor of their gods' the gods take notice and they have gained mythic power (gotta give mythic to fight old PC's of last campaign lol)

To 'win' this campaign they have to find a way to kill undead overlords (one vampire, one lich, a goblin king and a werelion king)

Then.find a way to diminish the undead population so can be repopulated by 'human race' (more than humans but still)

Thoughts comments questions advice always welcome

Random thought has anyone tried adding something like aflack even a scam where some npc sells him a phony insurance

So I like the idea of keep what you kill but I like it more than I kill you keep your weapons... I like the raveners abilities because of it... I kill you I keep your soul... so I would love to make weapons based off raveners but too much work for the moment...

But I was wondering about keeping a power orspell if you kill a wizard one time use type thing...

Wizard is easy random spell you.can cast at a lower caster lvl or the same I don't know

But if you kill a barbar do you get to rage? Or what do you get if you kill a fighter

2 people marked this as a favorite.

So one thing I liked from vanilla wow is you had to visit your trainer you.don't just automatically know how to cast that wonky spell that just knocked the socks off that big ugly dude gotta learn it

So couple questions:
Has anyone tried this. Simple most asked question on this board but experience is best

Would you mind having to find a trainer to "level up"

What are some ways to impliment the "training." Was thinking if a divine thing the 'god'can bestow the knowledge I guess I dunno

Would it cost? After all nothing is really free

Would it take time? Game or real life
How long would you have it take? 1d10minutes? Rounds?days?

Where would trainer be located?

That's all I got for now will be back with more (questions/ideas/concerns)

Thanks in advanced

So a small list of ideas/missions in order of story progression (not trying to railroad)
Ffree vampire/lich from goblin slave ship
do missions to gain favour including
Find vampire antipaladins returning hammer,
Rescue lichs.phalactery which goblins sold for "shinies"
Then because player wants to be a lich (other a vamp)
Craft a phalactery (with guidance from lich)
Obtain stuff for lich ritual
Become vamp/lich
meet a werelion prince/goblin king
find undead city
Ward off Capitol city's attack
Rebuild/supply/recruit (mostly undead/vampires)
sneak/infiltrate Capitol city to learn Intel
Attempt to take out generals
Then a small attack force (including PC's)
Destroy convoys /caravans
Steal/destroy supplies

That is basic outline I would like for story was wondering if any one has ideas for what happens after steal supplies
Or maybe small side quests before the end of what I got the vampire lich werelion and goblin are important because they become leaders of the rebuild undead/evil city
The PC's will lead the army of mostly vampires (created by one of PC's) and undead (created by both PC's) they will lead main assaults against Capitol city and try to destroy the holy campaign of the Capitol city

Any advice be helpful
Thanks in advance

As far I understand animate dead adds the undead template to the thing keeping most of the stuff it had in life (not quite sure)

What happens if there are wizards dead lying around can the skeleton /zombie still cast?

What happens if a sythesist summoner or any summoner gets animated

A pc has a bard and wants to take skald (rageing minions) and dirge bard (zombie minions)
Normally can't do it because they both replace the same thing (Jack of all trades iirc)

Now could they just opt to not have the skald one that summons the minions?

What could we give them instead or do they just not get anything because we allow dirge bard summoning things

So based on the other thread (how do you like builDing campaign)
I'm designing a 5/6 man team for baddies

First was the the dark chick I dunno it screams dervish dancer to me not sure why

Next is bezerker the two handed fighter (maybe a thunder striker?)

The master mind would be a homunculus wizard (love homunculus and wanna have fun with them)

The dragon is a two part boss once third boss (disguised as a human) maybe wizard? Then final boss as a dragon (wanting dragon to be true bbeg behind it all)

Then the big bad guy (one everyone thinks is in charge (even he thinks it)) i'm thinking paladin or antipaladin (depending on players alignments (this one will have a normal paladin complex (i'm the best not you I make rules)

Setting: not sure

main cities: undead city and capitol city (depending on alignment)

Mcguffin:soul reaver (based off raveners soul powers) and some holy sword? Depending on alignment again

Need help with stating some guys, and some fluff/ side quests, advice, working on two main swords (side stories where they come in and if pcs use them of just bbeg)

Last is how do I set them (pcs) on road to fight bbeg?

So I wannabuild weapons based around:

Soul Consumption (Su): When a living creature within 30 feet of a ravener dies, that creature's soul is torn from its body and pulled into the ravener's maw if the dying creature fails a Will save (DC equals the save DC of the ravener's breath weapon). This adds a number of hit points to the ravener's soul ward equal to the dead creature's Hit Dice. Creatures that have their souls consumed in this way can only be brought back to life through miracle, true resurrection, or wish.

A sword that is "hungry" if it doesn't eat it refuses to work

Edit: maybe 1 soul and it gets +1? 10 souls and gets flaming (or something) 200 souls and it gets +5 and flameburst?

open to suggestions,

Other thoughts I think intelligent item/cursed item would be easiest with mechanics if fed it's intelligent if not fed cursed.

Then second thought is a armor with the:

Soul Ward (Su): An intangible field of siphoned soul energy protects a ravener from destruction. This ward has a maximum number of hit points equal to twice the ravener's Hit Dice, but starts at half this amount. Whenever a ravener would be reduced below 1 hit point, all damage in excess of that which would reduce it to 1 hit point is instead dealt to its soul ward. If this damage reduces the soul ward to fewer than 0 hit points, the ravener is destroyed.

Same concept as sword but I don't know

Maybe a ring that "captured and holds it" then the player can "unleash" a certain amount into weapon or armor?

So I like the soul stuff the ravener gets but was curious about some things:
Is there any other creature that gets the soul stuff?
Next is tough,
I want to make a weapon that has to consume so many souls a day or "bad stuff",
If it consumes it's souls "good stuff"
Or amulet or armor

Or a full set or armor weapons and ring/necklace for a soulmancer?

my little sister wants to play a turtle race (similar to catfolk or ratfolk or gripplis) but she wants turtle not sure how to build

Couple thoughts on race:
Maybe a nat armor bonus?
Str and con bonus?
Slow (naturally) fast swim speed
Not sure what else

this is a char meant for a npc originally but will be a pc need lots of help finishing
Thanks everyone

charles silverclaw:
Charles silverclaw Son of Benjamin silverclaw son of Albert silverclaw who was the first werelion blessed/cursed by the gods to protect the ancient secret that the gods them selves gave them. having a unnaturally long life (even compared to the normal long life span of werecreatures) thus the kinds life is a lonely one in adolescence the kind to be would go on a quest to do some near impossible task.
When they return they are given the two weapons "lions might" and "lion heart" these two weapons change per king for Albert it was twin swords Benjamin it was a double staff and Charles always impressed by the brawlers our legends his came out as a advanced cestus shaped like a lions heads.

rumors are these weapons are infused with the souls of kings past, people have attempted to break in but the ones who come back always claim the king has three huge lions in his chambers with no signs of the fabled weapons. And other times he is seen walking with two of the three lions around the castle.

it is said when Charles fight even the gods stop and watch amazed how one guy can move a gracefully.

notes from gm:
Two weapons are similar in shape but different enchantments one might roar causing shaken one might (some other effect) the first one might have a fire enchantment and second one has (either water/ice or holy/unholy)

Charles is a two weapon fighter with the (either two weapon warrior or weapon master) archetype his current feats (not in order) are: weapon finesse, improved initiative, hammer the gap, two weapon fighting, improved two weapon fighting, greater two weapon fighting, weapon focus, weapon specialization, greater weapon specialization, weapon focus greater, penetrating strike, greater penetrating strike, vital strike, improved vital strike, greater vital strike, and (the one that let's you use a weapon you Aren't proficient with) that leaves me 4 feats un used or 5 if weres can have a race with bonuses and I chose human

His stats before lvling and buying items are:
Str 10(didn't need high because of weapon finesse)
Dex 20 (was going for a agile a a cat when fighting more dex that str)
Con 20 (due to not having armor besides pants (piecemail))
Cha 15 (figured had to have some cha for king)
Int 10 (ran out of points and be covered by intelligent weapons)
Wis (see int for reason)

His pants only armor he wears is:
+5 invulnerable minithril (something) adds dr5 (but don't know if it stacks with other dr (from being were)
That cost 66500

That leaves 813500

going to take cost of his inherited fist weapons out (to be fair)
So going to use 800000 for those (or if I can get it cheaper but willing to spend 400000 per fist weapon
That leaves 13500 for misc stuff or magical dex/(what ever) tattoos

The weapons need couple things
*to be able to shape shift into two lions (one lion per weapon)
*to be able to be smart
*To be able to talk to him and each other (in weapon form and lion form)
*one cause shaken by roaring (both would work but I thought different things for different personalities)
*to have something that causes extra damage (he might team with unholy so holy bad idea)
*a glow (can glow from eyes) (could cause light sla)
*if intelligent item than purpose would be to assist user In fights/defend him? And to offer advice)
*preferably two different personalities (thoughts about what kind it would be)

He will be lvl 20 pc wealth first npc maybe in mother campaign a pc (start at 20 mythic)

He has one mythic tier

What I need is help:
What last couple feats to go with
Help finishing weapons
Which of two archetypes to go with
If dr stacks (if not then new pants)
Advice on fluff (part at top)
Stats (lvling stats, stats already done, and items boost stats)

Think that's all thanks in advance

I am making a society of were wolves but I don't want all wolves, using the rules of create a were

The main creature I want special is the king and royal family of the were society someone suggested a dino a weretrex sounds awesome dunno how well that would work

What were-animal would you use.

Started after I read the commoner one but need a lich so looking to see who can make best lich any class/race prelich combo works,
Can be any spellcasting class so rangers paladins clerics summoners alchemist any

Lvl 20 builds preferred
25 point buy for stats
Standard npc gold for lvl 20
2 traits

I would like to make a npc or bad guy based around the permanency spell.
Thoughts comments ideas?

Ok so I want to make a city for my players to visit and probably spend a lot of time in it is a city that involved vampires, undead (hence cheesy pun), werewolves (or any kind of were), and goblins (working force/slaves)

What I need help with:
How can undead function in a city(as I thought they were unintelligent)

What makes goblins be workforce are they slaves or just there to side with the bigger guys?

This city will be ran by a council of with one representative of each race need to build them

Any city stats block ideas would help

Can I use create spawn and my spawns create spawn then they create spawn and so on would it work

Create Spawn (Su): A vampire can create spawn out of those it slays with blood drain or energy drain, provided that the slain creature is of the same creature type as the vampire's base creature type. The victim rises from death as a vampire in 1d4 days. This vampire is under the command of the vampire that created it, and remains enslaved until its master's destruction. A vampire may have enslaved spawn totaling no more than twice its own Hit Dice; any spawn it creates that would exceed this limit become free-willed undead. A vampire may free an enslaved spawn in order to enslave a new spawn, but once freed, a vampire or vampire spawn cannot be enslaved again.

How can I get PERMANENCY the spell without dipping into is there a feat that would normally allow me to get a spell like that

I'm playing bard friend playing necro wizard we want to become vampire and lich respectively

Could a bard use PRESTIDIGITATION as a cleaning service (or tye dyearmor service)and get money?

Or would you still have to sink skills into profession?

Would PRESTIDIGITATION give bonus to said profession

Yes its rather silly but even fantasy people need houses cleaned

If you award the players a stone that gives 10 acid resist

Players decide to break it in half, would each half give 5 resist or would it jot work at all any more

On second hand if you have a 5 resist to multiple things like fire and acid
then you broke that one in half
Would you have one 5 fire and 5 acid
Or 2fire and 3 acid?

I have some ideas for towns dungeons and overall settings will ask on this thread or if anyone has any cool ideas for these things.feel free to let us know

First idea walking allong. A tunnel after a dungeon or something and after walking forever you.find.a body all it has is a notebook and a medallion you take.both (at least medallion) you.continue on to find a ladder you go up it and are in the middle of what looks to be a tavern cellar you go up the stairs.and is immediately arrested for trespassing and for having the medallion that belonged to the old (some local legend) you are escorted to jail it is now night over the course of the night you are questioned about the medallion when it is day time it starts to rain its a odd greenish rain you ask the sheriff about it he just looks at you weird he tells a story about how the village angered the gods and they cursed the town with acid rain only time people can go.out side is night because it rains at day all day everyday the roads are made up of metal grates with a sewer system below the have coated all the houses and everything in aa acid proof tar

Can the adventurers cure the town of the acid curse.
What really caused it.
What's now living in the acid sewers.
Who was in the tunnel.
What does medallion have to do with it.
Any other thoughts

How would you steal a elephant namely as a bard (for fun) what class would you use?

I would like to use a dragon for big bad boss Guy and I'm a dick so I was thinking sythesist summoner
normal sythesist broken now add dragon now add lichdom! I need builds one probably level twenty if you want to add a mythic or two go for it I just don't know how to use them yet but I can

Back story started someone asked what ultimate char to play I suggested above monstrosity. After I said I decided evil bad Guy perfect

You have been slumbering imprissoned for the past hundreds of centuaries until you were awaken you roar mightily as you break the very earth to escape your elemental cage you decimate the cage easily as it weakened with the ages you burst upwards to feel the glorious sun on your scales again you have been couped up so long you are feeling as restless as a youngling

Maybe one of the PC's grandfather imprisoned him took all.his treasure hoard and started a town

My char is a bard homebrew race with 4 arms (voxay) back story

Zattle home of the Voxay
Lost in the ages.
King sends his son away to make sure he lived son grows up (me) with nothing but the stories from his mentor

Mentor is other player a illusion necro trickster I am a bardic their i'm thinking based of story telling? Makes sense based off listening to mentors storys but why steal need concept for char why would he resort to char want some fluff

Call Down the Legends (Su): At 7th level, once per week as a full-round action, a Pathfinder chronicler can summon 2d4 4th-level human barbarians, as if she used a bronze horn of Valhalla; these summoned barbarians serve her with complete loyalty. The barbarians are constructs, not actual people (although they seem to be). They arrive with the normal starting equipment for barbarians and attack anyone the chronicler designates.

Lay of the Exalted Dead (Su): Once per week as a full-round action, a 10th-level Pathfinder chronicler can summon 1d4+1 5th-level human barbarians, as if she used an iron horn of Valhalla. The summoned barbarians serve her with complete and unquestioning loyalty. They are constructs, with the incorporeal subtype (they take 50% of the damage from corporeal sources, and no damage from nonmagical sources). They arrive wearing +2 studded leather and wielding +1 ghost touch greataxes (allowing them to deal full damage to corporeal creatures) and attack anyone the chronicler designates. To the chronicler and their allies, these exalted dead appear like a noble troop of spectral warriors. Her enemies, however, behold the terrible wrath of the ancient heroes and must succeed at Will saves or become shaken for 1 round per summoned barbarian (DC 15 + the Pathfinder chronicler's Charisma modifier).
