Sorry guys, I have to stop the game. I currently have five games, two as a player, and I have no time for all. I really hate to do this, because I told myself I wouldn't let my groups down, but sadly I have. Anyway, let's not lie, I was a bad DM. No maps, no clarity... All I can say is that I have enjoyed it, and I will see you around the message boards...

I'm sorry you had to stop the game, but I completely understand about life being busy.

Corlath draws his rapiers as they are about to enter the building, ready for anything.

It seems to me like there are four doors? I'll call them NE,NW,SW & SE with 418/B being NE. So whichever door is the least used one Joey, that's the one we're smashing in as soon as Corlath chimes in.

Corlath noddes in agreement, and moves to help the others with the door.

I'm back, the trip didn't take as long as I thougt it would.

I have to make an emergency trip out of state, so I don't know if I will be able to post for about a week. I'm so sorry for any inconvenience this might cause. NPC my character as necessary.

"If we are trying to get in unnoticed, then I suggest we take the back door." Corlath says while scrutinizing the building.

Is there any door that looks like it is not used very often? Spot check 14

Corlath keeps up as best he can during the hunt, and feels strangely exited at the end. He studies Aldern closely after his comments to Gal, trying to make up his mind about him.

Corlath wanders out of the Rusty Dragon after securing a room for the night. He walks up and down the streets of the town, acquainting himself with with all of the shops that are still open. He sighs as he feels his very light coin purse hanging from his belt.

"Corlath is right; we are basing our suspicions on nothing. Let's meet with Aldern but be prepared for trechery."

"Yes, lets. I hope all of you decide to meet also," he says while looking around the table. "If he is not to be trusted, then we are safer in numbers. I guess we will have to see tomorrow." He stretches, gets up from the table, and goes about securing a room for the night.

Sorry for the no show, everybody. There have been huge thunderstorms around where I live, and I couldn't connect to the internet for a while there.

"I don't trust him. He seemed fixated on Gal. I suspect he is up to no good. Perhaps this is an ambush. Maybe he was behind the goblin attack."

"He did seem overly interested in Gal." Corlath says in response. "I don't think we should jump to the conclusion of him being behind the goblin attack though, before we know more of what happened."

"Yes, a man who can summon the wolf within sends goblins fleeing with ease. Without concern for his own safety, he bring his full rage to bear on them. The few goblins that avoided his jaws found themselves on Corlath's blades or hosing Andrea's arrows in their chests."

"For my part, I think I actually hit one by some miracle. But I do relieve Gal from the burden of tending to mundane concerns."

Sense Motive 16

Corlath looks over to Gal and studies him for the first time with interest. "That is quite a thing he can do." He says over his mead, almost to himself.

Corlath watches Andrea emerge in her dress with a bit of amusement, and a slight smile. When she runs back to her room, he chuckles, shakes his head, and then wanders into the Rusty Dragon to order a mead.

"The eleven archer seems to have left our company. But Andrea's skill with the bow seems to be greater than his was and her spells find their mark with great effect. Gar and Corlath can split open anything that wants to get close to them. I can call on the power of spirits; each of them grants its own set of power to me. When I know what we are likely to face I can prepare myself well for it."

When Inikai speaks now his voice is perfectly normal for a man of his age and size. You realize that his prior voice gave you the impression that he was much larger than he really is.

Corlath notices Inikai's voice tricks and looks at him with a bit of amazement, never having seen anybody do that before.

"Does anyone know why those....things attacked the town...and how they got in, were the gates not secured...surely in dangerous parts like this they would not have been left unguarded"

Corlath walks up to the group, obviously still mad about being stabbed by a goblin. "Yes, it is strange. I wonder why nobody in the entire town saw them coming, there should have been somebody on watch like you said." He says while giving a small nod to Andrea.

I don't know if I will be able to post tomorrow, so here is Corlaths turn. Just put this in after Andrea.

Corlath runs toward the nearest goblin, now very angry at being stabbed by a worthless goblin. He stabs with his rapiers.

Rapier 1= attack 16, damage 4. Rapier 2= attack 10, damage 5.

If the singing goblin is still up, then Corlath with attack that one.

Corlath stabs at the goblin with his rapiers.

Rapier 1= attack 12, damage 4. Rapier 2= attack 10, damage 1.

Corlath notices the goblin slipping on the grease, and quickly attacks.

Rapier 1= Attack roll 14, damage 1. Rapier 2= Attack roll 10, damage 4

Corlath steps over the body of the goblin he just killed, and strikes out at the next goblin he can find.

Attack Roll 3 on one rapier, and 17 on the other. I'm assuming only one hit, so 6 points damage

Initiative 1d20+2=14

Corlath advances towards the nearest goblin, with his two rapiers at the ready.

Might as well post my attack now. Attack roll for one is 16 with 3 points damage, and attack roll for the other is 8 with 4 points damage.

Corlath wanders around the town for a while, happy to be in a new place. He eventually finds his way to the gathering of people around the podium, and stands to listen. When he hears the odd noises, he looks around and draws his two rapiers.

Spot check 1d20+2=16

Shouldn't you have +3 attack bonus for Shortbow (Dex 15 gives +2, BaB gives +1)?

By the way, I like the two rapiers. Very classy.

Your right about the attack bonus. I like the two rapiers too, I think they're a lot more fun than just one.
