Cora, being a stranger to excursions in foreign places, follows Eveylyn's lead and stocks up on things that might be useful. Including another clip of ammo for her brand new Heavy Pistol. She pats the plastic explosives she keeps with her at all times. Might need this before the trip is over.

Cora has the Streetwise to spend on it so she'll make friends with the bartender. Might be good to talk to more official sources too in case we get extra information. Spanish tomb raider. Think he's well known around here. Acuna Cora says quietly after identifying a fellow traveller on the morally grey side of things the hotel bartender. I think I'll go ahead and do that. Will clean out those skills for her but I don't think they'd be too useful in the field. Really? Cora continues to ply Giotto That's a stroke of luck for us! Was he with someone or some organization that would know where he's gone too? Would love to get his expertise since we're interested in Dallol ourselves!

Cora for one looks genuinely happy and sports a wide grin during the group photo in Egypt. She'd never really thought about travelling the world, as busy as she was with her grifts and hustles, but she found it suited her really well. She lets Evelyn handle the talking. I spent one point on bumping up the Explosives skill, any feedback on what I should spend second point on? Would be good to spread our skills out as much as possible and Cora and Feddy have some very similar skills. Is it also okay if Cora has the Heavy Pistol they found in the pyramid? Having +1 damage would be nice

First things first Cora checks in with Sullivan, her parole officer. Good old George usually knew when she hadn't been up to any good but was never quite able to prove it. It was a game they both played and seemed to enjoy. This time though George could tell that there was something different about Cora. She was jumpy in a way she had never been before. Still, getting back to a usual part of her life gives Cora a desperately needed veneer of normalcy. With Charlie, though, she's much more frank. I got mixed up in some kooky business Charlie. There's things in the world that ain't human. she says with a shudder You taught me how to deal with people. How do you con something that ain't?

Since Cora knows three spells now her sanity max is I think. Also can i request the GM that Cora gets a bump of 1 to her credit rating because of her successfuly concluded business? :). Will write up something for her sources of stability by today or tomorrow.

Not Cora. Cora is uncharacteristically in no mood for further adventures for now. She'd already made a profit in the trip and piercing the veil of reality to see the horror beyond in the bargain is more than enough for her thank you. Well I'm a damned witch now. She says to the others in a brash tone that hides quite a lot of anxiety and fear I need to go home, meet with some friends and get very very drunk. Do we have time to do that?

1d6 ⇒ 5 Cora's mouth opens to scream but instead gibberish comes out as she is overwhelmed with a succession of images. It takes her a long time to realize that it's her fellow group members whose memories she's experiencing. That's bad enough but when it gets to delving into her own memories... Cora remembers being a 21 year old and a five year veteran of the criminal underwold. In a fit of hubris, she'd planned and pulled off a bank heist all on her own. It had worked. She had almost gotten away with the money with only a warning shot being fired when a figure had suddenly rushed in the front door. She'd whirled and fired... only to find an elderly gentleman.. who looked disturbingly like her long dead grandfather... clutching his chest as blood bloomed through his shirt. It hadn't even been a copper!

Whatever the hell it is. They do not shoot at me and get away with it. Cora snarls And they sure as hell aren't going to kill anymore people. She tries to find some cover from the slits and then fires at the bloody handed person in charge of the madness. One point Gun spend attack priest/shaman. 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 Is it okay if Cora took the time to load and the heavy pistol they found and use it now? If no one else wants it.

Cora shrugs George and Charlie are not going to believe a word of this she says as she drops over the edge and starts to climb down. Hell of a story to scare the grandkids with though. she grins. I think that gets her some stability back as it fits her Drive? Since she knows the spell also she's willing to contribute one stability to the cause.

Well this is all kinds of insane. Cora mutters after she relays the findings to the non Spanish speakers. I don't know if I wanted to know any of this.. stuff. If... blood... can move a giant pyramid around then what can't be done? She shakes her head as if to rid herself of unpleasant thoughts. It's not very successful. Remembering her grandfather's love for working with his hands Cora goes over the construction of the disk itself. Hey... you see this seam? she says pointing out a line that runs down the middle of the disk. I think this thing can open up. Dropping whatever's on it below. Like a trapdoor
