Thinking of a rogue/ Mage what does everyone think

Really do want to attend but I can't get on to Warhorn website due to the server blocking it, but hopefully I will be able to get into some games when I get there. Wish me luck.

I'm going to be playing in the Acsention of the Drow game at GEN CON maybe we could get a little info of the drow society before then, is it female dominant or are there male dominant societies too, or a mixture? Pursumeing this will be ran as the Paizo 3.5 version. A little sneak peak to wet the appitate?

Quick Question on the 1/2 elf, are they proficent with any weapon they chose, say even an exotic? I know it is just one weapon not the whole group but just wondering if any weapon means "any weapon". It would be cool. I think that the Human and 1/2 elf are balanced ok, makes me want to play a 1/2 elf now, I miss the little guys. Just my 2 cents worth.

To me if the Escape artist CMB is 10 plus the BAB and Size, why isn't the Grapple check the same way. Is it easier to get away from some one grabbing you, then holding on to someone? Don't know, seems it favors the grapplie than the grappler. Just my two cents.
