He returns to relate the news to the others, "So uhh... who's going in?" he asks, looking at the water with trepidation. If no one immediately volunteers the squeamish cleric wades slowly into the water, arms raised high and fingers near his face, as if keeping his arms free will somehow keep the rest of him dry. He starts dragging bodies out of the water, or at least to the edge for others to remove.

Noticing the human slaves the still-shocked cleric makes his way over towards some human slaves. "Uhhhh, Excuse me sir, do you have any ills that need a healers attention? I am curious what was going on in this place?" he asks, gesturing to the room and wreckage of the battle at large.

Chorister recalls to the others, "Well we heard they were making undead in a grotto, ummm... and this could be that grotto. I didn't like the way it was glowing green when folks entered the water either. Darn language barrier!" He walks to the edge of the pool as close to the alter as he can get and channels holy energy to harm undead. Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 6

He grimaces as he recalls they're unable to communicate with the mites. With a sigh he glances down at the Derros at their feet, wishing one was till alive so they could ask him some questions. He starts walking amongst those that've fallen, looking for survivors; mite or derros. Maybe if someone's alive we can get some information... he thinks as he walks, checking some. Heal: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

You are all free to go!" he says with a grandiose wave of his arm. He looks back to the others, "Do you think we should do something about that alter?" he asks, glancing across the water at the evil-looking thing.

Jumping from event to event/fight to fight. For myself that's kind of how I like to play, the exciting stuff. This has been a very fun experience for me. Also I'm not sure that was more a reflection on your GM style or our own level of involvement (or lack of it) in the roleplaying aspect of the game. For PFS I think I like the jumpier type of game, as PFS seems intended to be shorter and more event driven/goal based style of Pathfinder. I'm always up to play more, although I do play too much as it is, and I had my extended 'moment of silence' for awhile during the game.

He then steps westward a bit to give his friends some room. "Uhhh, that was unexpected." he states as the room devolves into a pitched and desperate battle. Cast Guidance on Ryster, 5' West.

Sen you mean you haven't heard of the good and traveling diety? We can not speak his holy name to infidels, sorry. ;) Chorister is more of the "If a cleric is not devoted to a particular deity, she still selects two domains to represent her spiritual inclinations and abilities (subject to GM approval)" flavor of Cleric, rather than following a specific diety.

Just a perfect storm of pregnant wife health issues, crazy-time at work, and community obligations. I feel really embarrassed I was gone so long without a word, but I have enough room to breath that I wanted to get back and see the state of things. Sorry for the disappearing act but I feel confident the worst of the storm is past and I can get back onto the boards. Did Chorister lose his place in the game? I wouldn't blame anyone if he did. Coming to his senses a little he holds a curative wand aloft, his voice quavering, "uhhh.... Healing anyone?" Roll for yourselves. 1d8+1. That done he searches the dead, murmuring peace to their corpses and smoothing the features of their faces. He gives a nervous look to the poor caged folks, "Uhh, excuse me. Are you alright?" He looks like he wants to open the cages but is sure if he should, hands coming up and going down sporadically.
