I am going to withdraw from the game. I sent the GM a message a week ago and have not heard anything back. Good luck all! You know, normally I try a bit of due diligence to ascertain if I think the GM will carry the game through. For some reason, I didn't do that for this one, and it appears the GM's very first post was this one advertising this campaign. Considering one usually expects a post per day in games, and the GM has posted nothing in 4 days, I too shall withdraw my interest.
Here here! If not for them having the Spell Kenning, I can't imagine what the designers thought was the use in their having Scribe Scroll.

If the GM has completely disappeared, we need to not post in the Gameplay thread for a couple months, and the game will go inactive. Most unfortunate.

This means I can't really use my medical skills on the other three of you, but while I could easily justify having needed it on humans, and possibly one other, I couldn't choose! So, at the next level, I suppose I'll spend some time reading the Anatomy books for your races, so I can help you as well. Don't get hit before 2nd level if you're not human or sesheyan!

Ugh, I noticed that the site must have eaten my corrections to my character profile! Cleaning that up, but need to get to my home computer to complete.
Like a hairless bat that has not showered in several days. It has been way too long away for me to smell like the forests and trees of my homeworld.

I will point out that not all systems even have drivesats, and thus are not reachable that way. electronic traffic to those systems is carried by data merchants. The Lighthouse carries drivesats, so when it comes to a "dark" system, suddenly that system can communicate way faster with the outside universe for at least a few days.
