Finally got some time with the PDFs and my computer, and looks like Bronze is getting some surgery done. Upgrading Ceramic Bone Lacing from Standard rating to Alpha: Gain a .22 essence hole, cost of ¥22,500 (by the book pricing). Not sure what kind of rolls I'll need for that, but my fixer and black market connections should hopefully be able to pull it off. Also going to the paintball & airsoft range (maybe somewhere lets you do "airsoft" with gel rounds?) and getting some pistol & dodge training in. Tests for the skill increases: Pistols 1>2: 5d6 ⇒ (4, 3, 2, 3, 3) = 15, Week 2: 4d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 6, 1) = 16
After 2 weeks, Bronze is ready to roll, having paid for rent for 3 months, gotten some new 'ware upgraded, and done a bit of "run & gun" at the range. Karma spent: 8

I'm game for a casino, sneaking and intimidating seem fun to me. On a side note, not sure what to spend money on. Bronze has very little essence left, and pretty much all the bases covered from a combat standpoint. Maybe fancy duds or specialty gear? Lots and lots of explosives?

Sorry I've been MIA lately, busy with baby and work, and switching gears to SR 4E mindset takes a lot of mental effort. Should have some time to drop cash and karma tomorrow, and Bronze is keen on any mission, especially a stealthy grabby one.

Bronze relishes in the pain and misery of a hangover after real booze, then rubs his eyes and drags his hoop outta bed. Stumbling over to the InstaKaf machine, he presses the button and waits for the brew to start. Dressed in just his BDU pants, his heavily muscled body shows multiple new scars and injuries gained over the recent years, with a surprising amount of knife or other blade scars along his arms. "Ya, chummer, work sounds good. It's bin too lon' since we ran like propah 'fessionals, so ka? When ya call da ammo guy, I'm'a need a couple'a boxes a' shotgun shells. Mebbe some new rifle ammo, too, ya?"

He brings a beat up armor jacket in with him, stripping off his SWAT tactical vest and helmet, and shrugging into the more comfortable clothes. "Got a case a' Soyweiser an' some Thai inbound, drone dropoff in like 15 minnits. If we're lookin' ta get anudder job righ' 'way, I kin call Vigo, but he's prob gon' wan' some muscle work, ya know?"

Bronze disappears into his former squat, tossing things around for a minute before emerging with a vacuum sealed can and a small brown bottle. "Wiz, I foun' da 'kaf, and a bottle a cheap synth-scotch. Dis stuff jus' gets better da older it sits, neh?" The big ork drops some of the soykaf powder into cups and waits for the water to boil. "I ain't been runnin' much lately, ta be hones'. Got sum muscle work wit' one a da syndicates, scare off da normies, collect sum debts an' stuff. Ya know, lefbreaker work. Ain't been gran', but pays da bills and keeps me outta trouble and away from da fuzz, so dat's been good enuff." When presented with the shot, he downs the vodka in a smooth gesture, grinning over his tusks at Bogatir. "Jus' like ol' times, chummer."
