Ceneth outlined a few possible next steps, as he sees them, and wanted buy-in from the group. Where did talking about their lives come from? He wasn't trying to draw people out ... he was trying to get "yeah, that sounds great, let's do that"

It was enough to make a few forgeries of Mr. Big's symbol. Almost perfectly, but good enough to find his shop in Sharn.

Yeah. Opi's fairly good at making stuff explode. And, amusingly, no one is likely to realize it was her when someone is suddenly engulfed in murder fire. Since the mage will be crying and wailing in the corner you'll have to make a really good Sense Motive to suspect her of the constant detonations.

But yeah, she got 'Null' because she doesn't really have much of a personality of her own anymore.

I'm sure GQ loves her anyway ... Ceneth does and he doesn't even know her yet (mostly because she wanted to go have dinner)

Then Spectre chants an incantation, pressing a thumb and forefinger briefly to their eyes. Casting detect magic. They turn slowly in place, carefully scanning the entire group, including GQ. They'll take 10 on all the Knowledge (arcana) and Spellcraft checks, since we're not in combat and there's no point trying to sort through dozens of rolls. Hmm... auras present of course... over twenty, some strong... and... Goldeneye's clear... Skyfall's clear... illusion magic from Null's clothing, but what about... Opi, is your hat of disguise currently active? And Cari or GM, either of you know whether Cari's Minor Shape Change (Su) would have a transmutation aura constantly when she's in a form that's not her natural one, or only when she's actively switching between forms? Finally, GM, what auras does Spectre detect from GQ or his gear? Or anything else in the room, for that matter. They get the school of each aura, and the properties of any item below CL 14.

So wait, can Zoa take a scent also, like a police dog sorta? If you let them sniff the blood, would that give them a bonus to perception? Just kinda wondered, I know they aren't a dog, but still.

Lambda-42 glances between the organics as they bandy questions. The conversation bores it a bit. What was there to discuss? What reasons for motivation were necessary? The King called, and those loyal to him should answer. Of course, organics must have food, clothes, and a place to sleep, all of which must be bought. I suppose they must be given coin as compensation for their time, even when serving the king. I am pleased not to have such limiting needs. And better things to spend my coins on. She's wearing armor that doesn't fit as well as it used to. She's put on a little weight since the end of the war. She looks around the room. "I'm not interested in a drink. I need to get back to Ardev. There are people there who need my help. Let's just get this over with."

Cen probably didn't need a drink, he probably didn't need several. He might not need a barfight, might not need to hospitalize anyone either. But there were nights that felt like all of those could be a REALLY good idea.

Ceneth Tialaen d'Thuranni - Assassin of Skyway, Courtesan of Shadow

Ceneth is a Synthesist, who made a name for himself once he transfigured his fused eidolon to allow him to fly. Based in Sharn for years, he was focused like many on flight magic, but found a radically different path to the sky when he called on the primal power of elven flight, Avariel, and found that the magic joined to him. The relative safety provided by the floating island of Skyway was shattered, and the rogue house Thuranni gained a foothold it needed during the Last War.

Flying faster and faster as he refined Avariel’s evolutions, he offered additional "services" to his house. There were no other flying courtesans; there were no others who could come & go as discreetly as Ceneth anywhere. There wasn't any other member of the House who could simply fly to Stormreach on a moment's notice without an airship ... and there wasn't anyone whose magic made them as "strong & agile" as Ceneth either. Alter Self allowed for quite a palette of “service alternatives” too.

Ceneth dreams of greater and greater service to his Family: he wonders if he can push himself to manifest a Dragonmark one day.

Suitor: “What would you say is your language of love?”

In the Worldwound, untainted food is absolutely a problem, and does play some part in any adventures in the wastes. I’ll have to do some research and see if there’s any rulings or hints either way.

Actually, how did I miss that in the AP? When I started playing the game, I was stunned that there was this new wrinkle to camping. Just really strange.

I read about them on Archives of Nethys. I believe they were introduced in Ultimate Wilderness. They’re humanoid plant creatures made by Druidic ritual to serve as protectors of plants and as companions.
