"Yes yes, quite right, so true. Send out the young half-elf who parked for me before, we'll leave that right there." Celebryn hands the man a hundred credit cred stick ... "You are wise to ask this, and yes, entourage is in many ways its own culture. It could be something as simple as a loyalty badge, which for elves who pay homage to my heritage is a simple brooch or pendant symbolizing Kyonin. But any of you could go a little more "all in" and wear something culturally appropriate from Castrovel as well; to be honest Valtri, a touch more for you would be lovely, an elven silk scarf in Blue & White perhaps. Something like the Queen would have worn on holiday."

"While they normally body scan all entrants, I believe that I could get us through that: while there may not be much left of Kyonin, I am still the Crown Prince of it. That holds water with these types." "Several of you who aren't Ruhk will need clothing, let's go shopping."

I had applied for a Cybersecurity training grant in November of last year and Purdue abruptly started it on me back in May with little to no warning... so I'm been putting in 20+ hours per week of studying on top of my job. I will be better about getting up to pace with everyone! tbh I want to hear more about your grant program, that sounds amazing ;)

When that is complete, we can then plan some "site visits" - the character of those visits I should think will be determined by diplomacy, subterfuge, and weaponry. The results of those visits will also key us in to what other resources we might need, magical or technological, to arrive at a conclusion."

"Very much something else ... but I am already fond of your friends and how they think. I am older than the Pact Worlds. Carbon dating, astrochronology, and some time honoured divination all allow me to know fairly certainly that I am 327 years old. My lineage is not, wholly, in question, while its relavence certainly remains unanswered. So yes, my birthday is the 19th day of Rova, in 10 PG. It can be difficult sometimes." "But it also has drivien me to be a champion of my culture, a relic hunter, and a student of time. Studying precognative magic has been one of the great joys of my life so far, and I hope to be able to apply that to help us solve this murder."

"Our greetings on Castrovel, among the Houses, tend to be more of an opening statement of positioning. For you my new friends, I should simply be Celebryn, and it really is a pleasure to finally meet those who I've already fought alongside."

Myr`iad wrote: Hey all, sorry about my lack of posting over the weekend. My kiddo's school sent him home sick Thursday afternoon with pink eye that he got from another kid in this class. I took him to urgent care to find out that he also had strep... which I caught from him. SO both of us were sick over the weekend. I'm back now, getting caught up at work, so I'll probably be a little slow to catch up here! FEEL BETTER (both of you)

Having known the Station since the dawn of the Pact Worlds, Celebryn smiles looking over the shoulder of the well-dressed envoy sitting just across from him. The young man probably couldn't imagine that the landing dock was as rough of a spot as it was, but he would find out soon enough. Bryn smiles at the Lashunta stewardess, silently wondering if she missed Castrovel as well. Then he hoped she hadn't heard his thoughts ... but it really had been a long time since he had been home, and he was glad to at least be closer. Some things were just better when they were Elven. |
