Feels like not so much.
Nothing for a couple weeks after a vacay announcement is planned.
This nothing feels mostly just like nothing.

Thank you all so much, good luck.

"They arrive disrobed when they know it will be paid for ... stick with coffee tho, naked I'm not going to pay for."

No one is sure, but it seemed as though the elf were laughing too

As you sit down a half naked servor comes up to you and asked if you would like something to "enhance" your experience at the club?

She holds out a tray of various shot glasses, powder plates, lozenges and syrettes.

"I am having SUCH a tough time figuring out which insult to address first ... the half naked human female part or the 'Celebryn's guests must need help' part. Who sent you? Galadriel!? Gods I am tired of that woman!!!"

Elf

My apologies team, I have been super busy and super tired in RL.
I am here, let me know what we need.

Elf

Way to go Rukh with the Nat20!

Elf

"Yes yes, quite right, so true. Send out the young half-elf who parked for me before, we'll leave that right there." Celebryn hands the man a hundred credit cred stick ... "My new pilot is good, but a little brash, apologies. We're late, all of you, queue thru, I need to have been inside 30 minutes ago!"

”I’m your rakish private pilot. I will add the appropriate colored scarf as pilots still carry scarves from bygone day traditions.”

Max prints out a Velcro patch for his flight suit with a picture of Celebryn in all his glory and attaches it to his flight suit. He picks an elaborate scarf that almost touches the ground in the traditional colors.

It is all about accessorizing they say!!

Celebryn bursts into a grin hearing this ...

"A rakish private pilot may be the one thing I didn't know I needed ... and it is also EXACTLY the kind of cover that dares people to question it. It is PERFECT."

"Any style tips for the assorted hangers-on?" Valtri asked mildly. She would be just as happy not to be occupying the centre of attention. Less chance of being recognised from having her image plastered across the infosphere.

"And do we have a plan for after we get in?" She was, frankly, at something of a loss on that front. Pumping staff for information seemed more likely to trigger a confrontation than anything else.

"You are wise to ask this, and yes, entourage is in many ways its own culture. It could be something as simple as a loyalty badge, which for elves who pay homage to my heritage is a simple brooch or pendant symbolizing Kyonin. But any of you could go a little more "all in" and wear something culturally appropriate from Castrovel as well; to be honest Valtri, a touch more for you would be lovely, an elven silk scarf in Blue & White perhaps. Something like the Queen would have worn on holiday."

Formal clothing is listed as 5 credits. For a Celebrity, that will be custom fitted and decorated for 50 credits and up.

Celebryn will cover the 60 credits: Rukh has to look like a dear friend, and the others need to look like actual entourage.

Bluff: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 (to seem 'worldly' and aware and not convey disdain)
Culture1: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17 (He knows pretty much anywhere that ancient Elven artifacts are bought & sold)
Culture2: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21 (He knows that he could play the Crown Prince card if needed ...)

"I am ... 'aware' of this place."
"I am neither young enough, nor insipid enough to want to spend time there, but rich people often want to buy things that they shouldn't."
"It's a perfect place for that."

"While they normally body scan all entrants, I believe that I could get us through that: while there may not be much left of Kyonin, I am still the Crown Prince of it. That holds water with these types."

"Several of you who aren't Ruhk will need clothing, let's go shopping."

I'm really sorry for my absence everyone. I will be better about getting up to pace with everyone!

tbh I want to hear more about your grant program, that sounds amazing ;)

You aren’t absolutely sure you’re wearing the clothing you came in with.
Celebryn is wearing more than a dozen of the most horribly tacky plastic beads you’ve ever seen in known space.
What do you do?

"Max ... please confirm that there isn't any cam footage of this ... anywhere ... anywhere in the Pact Worlds."

Elf

"It isn't that I haven't had non-elven alcohol products, but I need to make myself clear - I'm here for information"

Bryn smiles, and swirls his tongue around inside the glass

"What we need to know is who would murder a Starfinder."

Ruhk and everyone going with him head down by lift tube to the lower half of Absalom Station.

As the lift car descends, the people change from the richly clad peoples of the business and diplomatic strata of the main concourse, to the crowded and run down and graffiti marked areas of the neglected parts of the Station (very Blade Runner here...).
The lighting is dimmer here, there are water and reclamation leaks, crowded and broken down slidewalks passing by family barracks and ethnic food carts.
As you wander around asking questions...
Make Diplomacy/Gather Info skill rolls here as you converse with the locals, sounding them out about what's going on in this area.

Celebryn is NOT smiling, at all, but he does seem to be on the look out; you can tell he is concerned that there are elves who live in these conditions.

When that is complete, we can then plan some "site visits" - the character of those visits I should think will be determined by diplomacy, subterfuge, and weaponry. The results of those visits will also key us in to what other resources we might need, magical or technological, to arrive at a conclusion."

He looks at the elf. "My friends used to call the Gap the time after drinking and before waking up, but I assume you mean something else."

"Very much something else ... but I am already fond of your friends and how they think. I am older than the Pact Worlds. Carbon dating, astrochronology, and some time honoured divination all allow me to know fairly certainly that I am 327 years old. My lineage is not, wholly, in question, while its relavence certainly remains unanswered. So yes, my birthday is the 19th day of Rova, in 10 PG. It can be difficult sometimes."

"But it also has drivien me to be a champion of my culture, a relic hunter, and a student of time. Studying precognative magic has been one of the great joys of my life so far, and I hope to be able to apply that to help us solve this murder."

Elf

"You sir, are so very correct, and please forgive me."
The elf smiles, quite disarmingly.
"I am Celebryn Edasseril, Son of the Third House of El, Holder of the Sacred Chalice of Iadara, Heir to the Viridian Crown: very much at your service. I'm looking forward to working with you."
He smiles again, with just a hint of mischief ...

"Our greetings on Castrovel, among the Houses, tend to be more of an opening statement of positioning. For you my new friends, I should simply be Celebryn, and it really is a pleasure to finally meet those who I've already fought alongside."

Gurlak is waiting for you out front, and is able to convey you to the Moons of Sleep along with your luggage.

He is also able to negotiate with the manager to secure three two bed rooms opening on a comfortable common area with a kitchenette attached, chairs, couches, large threedee, power and dataports to the station infosphere. Sharing the cost makes it 20cr each for the week.
It is possible to make other arrangements if you like, individual efficiency rooms, a couple of the bigger suites; you can even go across the tramway to where a big beehive looking wall is, where you can get an individual sleep pod for a credit a night.

If there were a slightly larger suite with a slightly better, well, totally better (MK3), culinary synthesiser, Prince Edasseril would like to rent it.

The team needs good food ... and Celebryn & Max need coffee. Culinary

Shall we head to the Moons of Sleep?

After drinking the coffee and smiling at their hosts.
"Thanks for the excellent hospitality--it is hard to get the froth perfectly like this. We would like to use this area as a home base for a while."

Celebryn smiles at the well-intentioned little chipmunk, "Where I'm from, that's a good way to get killed quickly, by the jungle or by the Houses. Perhaps the Society wants to hire us because we will NOT be here, and we are NOT Starfinders yet."

"Your Lord(s)ship, is there somewhere here in the city you might suggest we take lodging? Relatively inconspicuous but with good access to resources ... and a replicator with froth programming?"

Elf

Celebryn seemed oddly aloof and profoundly disinterested in the refreshment. It wasn't so much that he was waiting for the hammer to drop ... but the Starfinder they had planned to meet with was, in fact, dead.

Elf

Celebryn assumed the car was for him ... and is just about halfway inside as the others decide to join.

Hey all, sorry about my lack of posting over the weekend. My kiddo's school sent him home sick Thursday afternoon with pink eye that he got from another kid in this class. I took him to urgent care to find out that he also had strep... which I caught from him. SO both of us were sick over the weekend. I'm back now, getting caught up at work, so I'll probably be a little slow to catch up here!

FEEL BETTER (both of you)

Elf

Having known the Station since the dawn of the Pact Worlds, Celebryn smiles looking over the shoulder of the well-dressed envoy sitting just across from him. The young man probably couldn't imagine that the landing dock was as rough of a spot as it was, but he would find out soon enough.

Bryn smiles at the Lashunta stewardess, silently wondering if she missed Castrovel as well. Then he hoped she hadn't heard his thoughts ... but it really had been a long time since he had been home, and he was glad to at least be closer. Some things were just better when they were Elven.

Elf

Absalom ... the new beginning of ancient history. He was excited to return, maybe even more so than he would be returning to Castrovel.

Elf

See you all soon!

Decided we didn't have a Wisdom guy, so Celebryn is now a Mystic!
