Background:
Growing up in Greyhawk, Cedric was introduced to the teachings of Pelor by his parents who worked at the local temple as scribes and healers. While not the brightest, Cedric was a hard worker and would read everything that his father was tasked to copy. He would also spend time helping his mother attend to the sick. One of the clerics of the temple noticed Cedric’s natural talent and agreed to train him.
Cedric’s hard work has paid off over the past few years as his abilities have advanced beyond his parent’s wildest dreams. The time he has spent pouring over various holy texts has allowed him to learn a few things that many clerics have not. He has found a special interest in using the cleansing power of Pelor’s light to fight undead. He has also been able to incorporate what he learned from his father’s skill as a scribe to be able to scribe magical scrolls for the temple.
Recently, he was tasked to deliver a shipment of scrolls to the temple in Blackwall. During his journey, he was asked to check with the local towns to see if there were any issues or anything that the church could help with. He recently arrived at Diamond Lake.
