Cecily steadies herself on Sir Tandyn's solid form after this new sensation of being violently wrenched through space. She takes the wet fizzing as an aftershock of the dimensional travel before she notices that she and Tandyn both are dripping with steaming blood. At least I'm wearing the cultist scraps! Not that they provide comprehensive coverage to her own expeditioning outfit underneath.

Blood dripping down her face, she smirks and whips the rags off into the sky! As they flutter in the morning sun, she steps up to the Brimorak, landing on her outstretched foot with the coiled strength of a dragon before she whips out with a frighteningly powerful fist.

Swift to enter dragon style, move to whip off the "cloak?" free to 5-ft step, standard to attack, free action with the attack via Cornugon Smash to intimidate.

Cecily nods, ready to go with Tandyn.

Cecily maintains her poise...mostly. One of her feet is tapping, she is anxious to mix up with the demons too. "A different tower sounds prudent. Thank you for the protections, Aroden."

She shields herself in anticipation of the upcoming engagement with reports of the army mustering.

It takes a moment for Thawm, Tandyn, and Ahmose's concern for her to really sink in. The emotion feels real - not something bought by family blood, influence, or coin, but something built through shared experience, that Cecily had hardly seen from anyone but her caretakers that she lost so recently. She returns the hug from Tandyn, envelops Thawm in its match right after, returns Ahmose's thumbs-up and gives Dorek and Aroden a friendly nod before surreptitiously dabbing at her eyes. Probably some dust from the bridge or something.

"Well, I was not born to fly, but I can climb," she says, examining her claws, "but stairs would be preferred if we can find stairs within."

Cecily heads back to the group to rendezvous, taking less than a minute to make it back and undoubtedly spotted by Aroden before her arrival. She's clearly shaken and frustrated by the encounter, and she stays invisible after she gets back until the potion runs out, but she makes rounds to check in with the party.

"That enormous beast was here, it took the aurochs without a care or trouble. It breathes ice, like...like Terendelev did."

It takes her a moment to look about the bridge. "The fight here was not too difficult, I hope."

Cecily narrowly avoids getting caught up in the chilling blast that devastates the aurochs. She picks herself up from where she falls on her butt, stunned by the immediacy of the assault, and very quietly tries to make her way around the Chimera to get back to her group.

Cecily leads the bovine threat on their merry malicious way, away from the bridge.

"OW! You stupid...!"

It's just a cow! And it's frightened!

Cecily forcibly calms herself down.

Dropping rage, she is now fatigued for 2 rounds.

"Let's, um...come here, Miss Aurochs. Let's go this way. You too!"

She tries to lure the two aurochs along down the riverbed. Invisibly. With the scent of their favorite food: adventurer.

Cecily grunts in frustration and invisibly darts around the nearest aurochs, slips into her combat stance, and strikes out at the chain where it attaches to the support, letting her frustration empower her.

Since the chain is an object, I think she would remain invisible per the text of the spell.

Cecily jumps down as well.

When Ahmose starts chucking bombs at the aurochs that she told the group she would handle, she starts to scream at him. "Stop! Stop, you murderous idiot! We can let them go!"

Surprise round: moving. I'm assuming she traverses the slopes and would fall down, so she's invisible and prone.

Cecily preens a bit when Tandyn helps her with her disguise but takes her invisibility potion with a grimace when the others do.

"Mm. Yes. We shouldn't kill them, they're animals. I'll go take care of them."

Stealth + invis: 1d20 + 2 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 2 + 20 = 26

If she can descend while taking 10 while still invisible, she will.

Cecily sighs dramatically when plans for infiltrating are finalized, not disagreeing with the strategic or tactical situation at all but more her best chance at infiltrating, and she comes back soon after wearing her cultist rags over her adventuring gear. She glowers and rolls her eyes dramatically at any looks thrown her way and, almost as an afterthought, rummages around a but before popping her tail out and waving it around visibly.

Before heading out, she uses her wand of Mage Armor on herself and anyone else in the party who wants a charge for their infiltration.

She whispers, "Are we quite sure these aurochs are demonically tainted? They just look hungry. And...cute."

Cecily plants an encouraging hand firmly on Dorek's shoulder. "You needn't be afraid. We will have your back against your grandfather, and you will have Iomedae's strength as well. But beyond that, Dorek, by Iomedae's grace in empowering us all with the strength of Good, you are quite formidable yourself." She gives him...is that something of an actual smile!? "Soon, the demons will be telling terrifying tales about us."

She takes a step back, thinks a moment, and saunters off for a few minutes before returning with the Knight's Pennon of Battle. "You have been feeling off since battling the Nabasu, yes? Perhaps this will help."

An acerbic comment regarding Dorek's polluted bloodline dies on Cecily's lips as she considers the impossibility that Nurah might be right and she might share a similar ancestor some ways up her family tree. And whatever his parentage, he was a Knight Commander now, like Cecily herself. She considers Tandyn's request for assistance and addresses Dorek directly and matter-of-factly. "Knight Commander Dorek, Tandyn and myself have graciously decided to help you kill your grandfather, for the good of Drezen, the Realm, and Golarion." Less formally, almost as an aside but to the same people, she adds, "As Knight Commanders, one should be decisive and sure in one's proclamations."

Cecily languidly looks over at Dorek, as though bored with the current conversation, and graciously offers him her attention. "What did you want to discuss? Shall we?"

Cecily is taken aback by Nurah's flippant response to her and huffs indignantly, then immediately goes on to think about whether the wand of modify memory would help her cope with her kidnapping. A glance at her claws confirms that her current issues outweigh the darkness of her past.

Cecily simmers off to the side, listening, and holds up a gloved hand from her crossed arms to forestall the more private talk. "Miss Dendiwhar, if you want to accuse me of being some gestating demonic entity because of what you think the circumstances of my lineage are, I should rather you just come right out and say it. I am sorry that you were betrayed by a man so negligent in noblesse oblige. Pharasma will see to his just rewards, and as ever we must remain vigilante to holds our peers responsible. But that is no reason to accuse me of wickedness due to what I continue to suffer at the hands of vile cultists."

Cecily goes with the group to talk to Nurah and mostly lets the others talk while she tries to maintain a politic, neutral expression, but eventually she chimes in.

"I do not know how you maintained the trusted position that you betrayed, but you have the chance now, through grace and faith and keeping a true heart, to earn your way into holiness the proper way. Should you uphold truth and virtue, I will vouch for you to the end." She takes a breath to say more, but stops herself before she outlines her plans should Nurah betray their trust a second time.

As they stop to camp, Cecily surveys the short miles to Drezen in the fading light. She expects a quick victory after their recent performance. She flags down a soldier to set up her tent as she cares for Roche and prepares to get a good night's sleep.

Cecily takes a knee and rubs her temples for a few moments while she catches her breath. It takes her a few moments more to realize that the others are talking, and she fishes the wax out of her ears then looks over to the rift they're discussing. After hearing them out, she looks around the rest of the cave.

"If we can't seal it could we block it? Perhaps collapse the cave? Is there anything else here that should help the cause?"

Cecily looks around a bit bemused for a second, but her gaze locks on to the queen, the source of her consternation, and she pushes the bewilderment into anger.

The queen falls, but Cecily barely hears the thud.

Something in that awful drone just bores into her thoughts. It's just. SO. LOUD!

Cecily repositions to spread out a bit more, slinks into dragon style, and utters a phrase in draconic, manifesting a defensive screen in front of her.

Move, swift into her style feat, and casting Shield. AC 27.

The droning approaching from the tunnels behind is dull through the wax, but enough to alert Cecily that danger is close. She turns toward it and her vial of holy water slips into her hand, deposited there by her tail, snaking it's way out from under her skirts. She whips the vial at the swarm then heads into the large chamber to confront the queen.

Swift to retrieve with tail, standard to toss, move to move. Not going into dragon style or raging yet. AC 23

Cecily will pass around her mage armor wand and hit herself with it before descending.

"Well, the trick, Sir Tandyn, is to...hmm. Well, I'm not sure. Maybe it is the magic within you?"

She does her level best to move quietly and with subtlety once down in the cave, and actually pulls it off with some aplomb!

"I would rather not delay, have we not already determined at the ransacked village that speed is of the utmost importance? We have already delayed enough cleaning the shrine. If killing the queen is the way through, then let us weather the storm and kill the queen. I would take a holy water or two for along the way, but I can handle the queen with Sir Tandyn and Dorek."

Cecily sleeps off the encounter with the demon just fine.

"Bugs? Ew. Yes, let's destroy the queen. How big are these bugs?"

"Of c-course it's s-suitable - it's a w-warrior's song, and we're w-warriors, yes?" He turns his crimson gaze on Junior, curious. "I d-didn't hear that much of it - could you p-play a bit more, once we're d-done? It's music with s-spirit, not that h-highborn stuff with the t-tinkly square t-things." Harpsichord

"Well I have yet to determine that, Dorek, so I will need to hear more. You will play me more, Junior, yes?"

She side-eyes Dorek. "And it is called a harpy's cord, who knows why. It's not like a harpy could carry one. But they are very different, that is my point! While of course I do enjoy ball music, and of course it's quite nice for dancing, this..." She looks to Junior and Amelia. "What do you call it?"

Cecily takes a few moments to catch her breath and slowly follows along behind the others. She nearly trips over something...someone?! She picks up the invisible potato sack and drags it out with her.

"There's something here! Or someone." She prods at it with her toe.

At Tandyn's mention of the music, her eyes widen a bit, and she looks over at Junior. "Oh! The music! Is that what that was? It was...different. Aggressive. Nothing like the balls. But," she looks down her nose at the grey-skinned musician, "I should need to hear more. To determine if it is suitable to listen to, of course. You'll play more, along the way," she says with finality.

Although she can no longer feel the beat, she sees Aroden's divine sword and endeavors to beat the demon regardless.

She grasps the silver scale she wears. "Terendelev, I will strike true!" Her claws begin to glow with a silvery light, and she approaches the demon.

Cecily catches the Nabasu's eye and becomes lost in time for an eternity, falling through oblivion, fighting tooth and nail at nothing as she falls. When she gets back, it feels like she's lost something. But there's still a threat here, somehow, so she steels herself and steps up to try to kill it.

Cecily watches Junior as he looks through the gear, and her smile quirks her lip in mild amusement at the term "ghoul gruel" but she pushes the inappropriate amusement down. "You know your gear. Which army are you scouting for? We marched from Kenabres."

She waves Aron and Dorek on. "They'll be done scouting well before 10 minutes has passed."

Cecily hustles through the Silenced room, not entirely enjoying that she's left only with her own few thoughts.

When the next room explodes, she runs in, takes out her Potion, and pours it on the half-orc while Thawm works on the woman. She catches his wink out of the corner of her eye and looks him over. "Oh! Hello! I am...wait where are you going?"

She follows after and plants her hands on her hips as Tandyn implores them not to run out.

Cecily looks over Tandyn and Dorek's wounds as Thawm heals them. "You strike true when you're wounded, Dorek. Many would have run after a blow like that, but you stood with us. Well done."

She heads to the door in the room that Thawm pointed to. "I agree." She'll open it when everyone is ready.

Cecily skirts wide around the half-fiend, joining Tandyn behind it. The crushing blows against her companions fuel her rage! "You'll stay as low as your morals, brute!"

Cecily gasps for air, manages to avoid retching, but does get out her handkerchief and holds it over her mouth and nose. She stares at the bodies for a moment. Hanging is just so undignified. And soldiers deserve a burial with dignity. And though it might take time to bury them later...

"Tandyn, cut them down with me. And then clean us off." She moves over below one of the bodies, steadies it as best she can, and readies to catch it and lay it down once Tandyn cuts the rope.

"That does sound quite grand, Sir Tandyn."

"You k-know, come to t-think of it, I think we had a d-dragon god. Or s-something like that. I can b-barely keep all the gods s-straight in my head, but I t-think there was one - Argent V-vyrlis, who k-killed the dark god Tanavir." He shrugs. "W-who knows? Perhaps it's this d-dragon on the walls here!"

"Oh, you worship a dragon as well, it's not all just demons?" Despite her words, her tone is genuinely interested. "What is your story of this Argent Vivverlis? Perhaps you can tell me once we are ahoof again."

She briefly glances at the pull-rope. "I believe there was one of these in our servant's kitchen, it would ring early in the morning and late at night. I don't think we should wait around for it to ring."

"Wait, Apsu? Is Apsu a dragon? Where have I..."

"The fath...!" Cecily's color deepens slightly and she swallows hard, but takes a moment to compose herself. "Do...dragons worship Apsu? What do you know about him?"

Cecily's eyes brighten considerably at Thawm's comment about Peace Through Vigilance. "You have a favorite dragon, Thawm?! That's wonderful! Terendelev always had good things to say about Peace Through Vigilance. Perhaps they knew each other? It would not surprise me, in such circles, it's not like dragons are particularly common, especially dragons personally known to Iomedae. There was even a rumor that She was Peace Through Vigilance's mother, although I don't know how..." Cecily colors a bit as she thinks through the implication. "Well, Iomedae is not married so that wouldn't be possible anyhow. I am surprised you know much of Iomedae's court, are you not a priestess of Sarenrae, from...South? What are dragons like where you are from? Do you know any well?"

Cecily takes a few moments to calm down after the last ghoul falls, and she braces Sosiel when he begins to stir again to make sure he doesn't fall over. "There, Sosiel, steady. I am glad you're coming to, it was valiant of you to charge in at them. You do your goddess proud."

She surveys the room and the desecration with a sad scowl, but doesn't say anything. The stash piques her interest though. "Oh, what a stockpile! These will certainly be best off with the army, I can't imagine we could ever go through all of these ourselves!"
