Piercing through the fog surrounding the ship, Athnul is in control of her destiny for once. Which is kind of scary because now everything that goes wrong is her fault. She trepidatiously heads to Raker Shoals.

Athnul thinks her shadow is a monster stalking her and gets scared. She's not having her best day.

She also decides to play with the teleporters and ends up all on her own on the Fringes. She doesn't want to stay there so goes to the Fog Bank with most of her friends. Something tells her she'll find a henchman.

Before the henchman emerges from the fog, a ship does. And it immediately starts firing on everyone!

Everyone at Fog Bank takes 1d4-1 Ranged damage

Fortunately Athnul is only grazed and uses her Blood Periapt to feel whole.

Not wanting to take any chances, Athnul has her Clockwork Dragonling find the ships weaknesses and defeats it.

Athnul decides completely on her own and without anyone prompting her to go to the Theater of Corruption because that place sounds awesome.

But being the heathen that she is opts not to use it.

Athnul is not particularly excited about murdering her Allies, so she decides to keep quiet for a little bit.

Turn 22 under Blessing of Besmara

Start of turn, Ring of Regeneration recharges a random card from discard.

And so it was down to one Troll-ridden location...

Athnul returns to the Sea Caves, tredpidatious and desperately searching for some fire.

She turns the corner and something jumps out of the darkness! Fortunately it is just Arronax Endymion

CtA Cha 13+1: 3d6 + 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (5, 5, 6) + (3) + 2 = 21 Success!

Athnul decides she really wants to make friends, and recruits Siwar plus a Blessing of Norgorber to impress them.

Buoyed by her success, Athnul strides onward and runs smack into a Sea Troll. She uses a Blessing to nope out of that fast.

Athnul is not interested in tangling with the Sea Troll again, and likes the party happening at Rocky Cliffs.

Athnul follows the cool kids to Fort Hazard.

Nirento challenges Athnul to a duel without weapons or spells, and she giggles a little bit at how easy this is going to be.

Athnul realizes that all the friends who have helped her thus far are really going to weigh her down at Widowmaker Isle, so she recharges a Wayfinder to take the Onigumo to the Holy Isle. Turn 5 under Blessing of the Gods

Where the barge goes, Athnul goes. Tempest Cay it is.

This charming island is apparently home to a Pteranodon. Athnul tries to lure it.

Turn 22 under Blessing of the Gods

Athnul is minding her own business at the Eye when Siwar flings a Cyclops at her. She pretends to be a statue and the monster goes about its business, and Siwar gives her a little "what, me?" shrug. Then she's swept off to the Theater of Corruption, which seems fine.

Start of Turn Wis 9: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Failure. Athnul wanders off without meaning to and finds herself in 1d4 ⇒ 4 Hall of Champions. A place full of weapons. Just what she always wanted.

This place is full of shiny gear, including a Hellknight Armor on display.

CtA Fortitude 12: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6 Failure

She decides that stealing something she doesn't want anyway is dumb.

The Riftwarden points out that the same dummy is holding a Keen Rapier +3.

Turn 12 under Blessing of Hshurha

Athnul uses her Ring of Regeneration and then tries to join the party at the Ruined Amphitheater.

Wisdom 9: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 Success! A concert at a decrepit venue is better than no concert at all!

The first thing she finds is a Protect spell, which seems like a good choice for a mosh pit.

Wisdom 6: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 Failure But since she has no idea how to cast it she can't be bothered bending over to pick it up.

The Riftwarden trips over some bones, and Athnul has to decide if she's going to bother taking a closer look.

CtA Wisdom 8: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13 Success! Yeah, might as well get these Besmara's Bones and display them on the prow of the ship, pirate-style.

The Forensic Physician decides to go wandering and comes back with a friend.

Athnul does not appreciate Nok-Nok's recklessness as her Blood Periapt absorbs the damage. She does appreciate Siwar's healing. Not all party members are created equal.

The Riftwarden leads Athnul to a ladder that seems to reach far into the trees. Only when she's at the top does she realize that she's been suckered into Lookout Duty.

Her journey in this theater starts off at epic proportions when she is met at the stage door by the Dweller in the Deeps. And she's not on the list.

Athnul is a little bloody from that cold blast, but at least she has a Ring of Regeneration to keep her warm. Start of turn, recharge a card from discard.

Ship Encounter: 1d18 ⇒ 8 => Devil's Pallor As if the icy attack wasn't enough, a ship comes up alongside and tries to attack. Wisdom 7: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Success! Discard a card, stash a weapon. Athnul tells them that their shoes are untied and they move along.

No sooner does that ship leave then Pirate Hunting dictates that another rolls (swims?) up. 1d18 ⇒ 11 => Dowager Queen

Athnul lost both her shiny rings last turn, so needs the Teamster's help to keep the ship off the rocks.

Apparently the party is at Gozreh's Flow now...

Unfortunately on her way there she is surrounded by a Phantom Fog that obscures even the ship mast in front of her.

It takes a Blessing of Abadar, but she guides the ship through.

Athnul has finally rummaged around enough in her packs to find and use a Ring of Regeneration. Huzzah! And her ring of not getting bashed against the rocks! She is feeling pretty.

Seems like the Fog Bank is where the action is, so she strikes out for the amorphous blob of mist on the water.

Predictably, a Kraken Tentacle extrudes itself from the sea as she starts to get close.

Athnul thought she was going to rest a little, but seems to have gotten poisoned and dragged to the Fog Bank while she was sleeping.

Siwar helps her from getting dragged by the current too badly.

Mama always said "swim Pearl-wardly" and this is the first time that advice has ever made sense, so Athnul heads to the Greater Jaw.

On her way she gets tangled up in a Flaming Longbow +2. CtA Dex 13: 1d6 ⇒ 4 She flails her way free of it, leaving it in pieces at the bottom of the water.

Reaching land, her Forensic Physician gesticulates wildly at a Powder Keg. CtA Int 11: 1d4 ⇒ 4 Athnul assumes it's some sort of medicine and rubs it on some scrapes before rolling it into the sea.

From which emerges a terrifying Kraken Tentacle.

Athnul flails about searching for the others, getting no help from the Teamster as she rams the ship into a small rock near [b]Gannet Island before joining everyone at Dragon's Lesser Jaw.

She arrives a bit bedraggled, but an Old Salt greets her and offers to show her around.

CtA Charisma 7: 1d6 + 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (5) + (4) + 2 = 11 Success!

Athnul would have ignored him, but Siwar is making a very aggressive signal that Athnul should make friends.

This place is full of such lovely people! And also, apparently, a Cyclops.
