Human Cleric 5

Victor, don't forget to add 1d4 to your saves and attack rolls.

Casdin will heal Victor quickly, then cast a more powerful spell on Vasilios.

Healing Word on Victor: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7
Cure Wounds on Vasilios: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will sag a bit as the ray hits him, then call down sacred light from the heavens on one of the hags.

DC 15 Dex save or take: 2d8 ⇒ (7, 6) = 13 Radiant damage.

Human Cleric 5

I don't think we'll need one.

Casdin casts Bless on the group. It adds 1d4 to all attack rolls and saving throws. We'll likely need it.

Human Cleric 5

"Let's get started if we're going to do this."

Human Cleric 5

Stealth (w/disadvantage): 1d20 ⇒ 111d20 ⇒ 20

Human Cleric 5

"We certainly can, but I suspect that they likely have precautions against such measures."

Human Cleric 5

I am going to change my spell list up a bit then I should be ready to go.

Human Cleric 5

"I'm sure it will be fine. We have an idea of what we are up against now, and should be able to better prepare. We should leave in the morning."

Human Cleric 5

The same way we do everything: Headbutt it until it gives.

Human Cleric 5

Or we can seek our revenge on the hags?

Human Cleric 5

I'd like to keep going, but I would understand if you wanted to close the game.

Human Cleric 5

"It appears that you just had a festival. Were you planning one for a few months from now?"

Human Cleric 5

"That would entirely depend on what you would want us to do." says Casdin as diplomatically as he could. I've known nobles like these before; they usually only pretend to care about the poor to suit their own selfish ends. thought Casdin.

Human Cleric 5

My very first thought on the description of that banner: this!

Human Cleric 5

"I wonder what sort of local festival we missed?"

Human Cleric 5

"We should probably go and meet with the mayor and his wife, then rest and head out to deal with the hags in the morning; that way, we are not perceived as rude, and we can take a more relaxing day where we're not running and fighting constantly."

Human Cleric 5

"We can rest should you need."

Human Cleric 5

"Half a day's travel or so."

Human Cleric 5

"And may Oghma guide your steps towards wisdom."

Human Cleric 5

"Seems reasonable. I would be willing to help such an endeavor."

Human Cleric 5

Isn't that where we fought the hags?

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will slip on the ring made of dark iron bands then head upstairs.

Human Cleric 5

That's fine, I'm actually leaning towards the dark iron bands.

Human Cleric 5

Worshipping the god of knowledge, Casdin will make his way to the books.

Human Cleric 5

Listening to Galador behind him, Casdin says "That's a surprisingly long-term view for an adventurer."

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will make his way downstairs.

Human Cleric 5

I am posting this to all my games (apologies if you see this multiple times):

I am going to be out of town for an work conference that I was asked to go on last minute. I will be out of town through Friday (the 27th). There will be internet a the hotel, but the schedule will be really hectic and I won't have a lot of time to post.

Please bot me if I am in your game, and if you are in my game, please note that I will probably not be making an update until Saturday at the earliest.

Apologies and thank you for your patience.

Human Cleric 5

"Hrmm, that's odd. I don't think they were insincere about their offer, and I don't think they would harm us while we were guests."

Human Cleric 5

Insight to see if they were sizing us up for a fight: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (17) + 7 = 24

Human Cleric 5

"Nor should they. Most people are unprepared for this lifestyle."

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will take the proffered bath then head to bed, not even bothering to eat.

Human Cleric 5

"Okay Vasilios, let's take a look at that bite."

Medicine: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17

Human Cleric 5

"Let's get some rest and I'll check it again in the morning."

Human Cleric 5

Medicine: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

"It's a nasty cut, but I don't see any sign of infection yet."

Cure Wounds as a 2nd level spell: 2d8 + 3 ⇒ (7, 4) + 3 = 14

Human Cleric 5

"Once they let us in, I'll take a look at your injury Vasilios."

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will prepare to start moving the wagon as soon as the gates are open. He'll also start watching Vasilios to make sure there are no immediate effects.

Human Cleric 5

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will attempt to see what it is.

Human Cleric 5

"I understand that your laws permit entry until sunrise, but will you at least give us warning if you spot something headed our way? We were attacked by the walking dead on our trip here."

Human Cleric 5

"Is anyone injured?" asks Casdin.

Human Cleric 5

As his allies currently lack injury, Casdin will call down more burning light. On the red C.

DC 15 Dex save or take: 2d8 ⇒ (1, 5) = 6 Radiant damage.

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will move behind the fighters and begin healing support.

Healing word for Galador: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
Cure wounds as a 1st for Victor: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (7) + 3 = 10

Don't forget the 1d4 from bless!

Human Cleric 5

As the group has not been swarmed yet, Casdin will hold his divine reserves and continue to call down radiant light on the swarm.

The one I marked with a red C can make a DC 15 Dex Save or take: 2d8 ⇒ (4, 4) = 8 Radiant Damage.

As a reminder, you all have +1d4 to all d20 rolls. Don't forget.

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will once again call down heavenly light to destroy the unclean.

The one I marked with a red C can make a DC 15 Dex Save or take 2d8 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 Radiant damage.

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will again call down righteous light to burn away the unnatural.

Casting Sacred Flame on the one closest to the back of the wagon (the one I marked with a rec "C"

DC 15 Dex save or take 2d8 ⇒ (7, 4) = 11 Radiant damage. This spell ignores cover.

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will call upon the blessing of Oghma to fortify his allies for the battle to come. He will then prepare to call down fire from the sky on the third enemy that stumbles into view.

Casting bless as a 2nd level spell to get everyone in the party but himself, then readying an action to use Sacred Flame on the third enemy that becomes visible, with the idea being that his allies will drop the first two. For those of you not in the know, you will get to add 1d4 to all attack rolls and saving throws while effected by Bless.

DC 15 Dex save or take: 2d8 ⇒ (3, 5) = 8 damage.

Human Cleric 5

"Sheva, forget what I said earlier. Burn these damned woods to the ground if you have to."

Casdin was not a priest of the god of the sun, nor a priest of the god of death, but he was still a priest, regardless. He would stand to stop the tide of undeath following them like a proverbial plague of locusts.

I vote to fight.

Initiative: 1d20 ⇒ 13

Human Cleric 5

"Please do, but don't burn down the forest if you would. I don't want to have to war with *more* druids." jokes Casdin.

Human Cleric 5

"It may actually be someone in need of help. Pretty much all screams sound alike."

Quieter, Casdin adds with a shudder "Except for rabbits."

Human Cleric 5

Casdin will move up and heal Galador, then hit one of the two remaining Zombies with Sacred Flame.

Healing word: 1d4 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5

Sacred Flame (DC 15 Dex Save): 2d8 ⇒ (2, 3) = 5 Radiant Damage. This attack ignores cover.
