Canas we should talk about using my divine sanction and your curses to pull OAs and double damage enemies as a tactic. Why do you think I risked running far enough to trigger Shadow Walk? Also, congratulations on the job!

Canas fires a bolt of flames at the first goblin then runs over to distract it. Hellish Rebuke on GU(vs Reflex, 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 Fire damage if I get hit by an attack, and remember cursed enemies take 1 damage if they attack me), then move to S16, triggering an OA from GU: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 161d6 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Male Human Warlock 4
Canas steps to the side and fires another blast at the wolf. Shift to S15, curse GU(I assume I can because it's the same distance as the other near-by enemies), then use Eldritch Blast on BS(vs Reflex, -2 attack from Prone): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 191d10 + 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (6) + (8) + 5 = 19

Canas steps away from the pit's edge and fires a bolt of flame at the wolf. Shift to R15, then curse BS and use Hellish Rebuke on it, including Prime Shot:(vs Reflex, 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8 Fire damage if it attacks me next turn) 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 131d6 + 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (3) + (5) + 5 = 13

"So, this is how you're going to do this. Why must everyone always insist on violence?" Canas calmly walks past the pit and focuses his gaze on the goblins in the doorway. Move to S14, curse D1, then use Eyes of The Vestige on D1(vs Will, extra curse goes to D2 and an ally who hits him before my next turn can roll a saving throw): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 181d6 + 1d8 + 5 ⇒ (2) + (5) + 5 = 12

"So, this contains the spirit of an ancient demon worshiper? Interesting?" Canas taps the skull with his knife when the owl hoots. "Oh relax, it's not like it's going to possess me." *whoo* "Why? Well for one the King would rip whatever remains of it's soul to shreds." *whoo* "Oh, there's just no reasoning with you, is there?"

Canas practices arcane gestures, making sure his gauntlets won't interfere with his magic. Satisfied, he begins to pack his belongings. "Tarjin is more likely to find us than we are to find him whether or not we search for him. I say we return to town now." "Also, would any of you happen to want my old gloves? I would keep them, but I doubt they would work properly with the gauntlets on anyway." A pair of Gloves of Piercing for whoever wants them, otherwise I'll just sell them back in town.

Ghetto DM wrote: Also, you'll be able to take an extended rest and.... level up!! Done. Took Killing Curse(Curse damage is d8 instead of d6) for my feat. As for the loot, I'll take the gauntlets since I'm the only one with an actual fire attack. A'loran, you want the Gloves of Piercing that forgot to record on my sheet? (Let's you ignore resist resistances up to 10 as a daily) Also, found a few errors with my defenses when I plugged Canas into the CB, so that's all fixed.

"She died fighting off goblins, didn't she? I doubt there was anyone around to entomb her body anyway." "Yes, it does make sense that this could be consecrated to Kord, although I assume it wasn't meant as a simple altar. Rulf, do we have your permission to break the seal in search of further knowledge?"
Male Human Warlock 4
Spending 3 healing surges if we're taking a short rest. Canas walks over to the sarcophagi, apparently forgetting his brush with death. "Well, this is interesting. The last monuments to a mighty pair of heroes..." Canas investigates the coffins closely, his owl perching on his shoulder. (Where was he during the fight? You don't remember it in the fight, but you never saw it leave...) History, what do I know about the sarcophagi? 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (20) + 8 = 28
Male Human Warlock 4
Canas soon appears on the main platform and sends a bolt of flames at the necromancer. Use Ethereal Stride to teleport to H7 and use Hellish Rebuke on VF (vs Reflex, 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 more fire damage if he attacks me on his next turn): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (8) + 6 = 141d6 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (6) + 5 + (3) = 14

"Everyone, press forward! The day is almost won..." The arrow juts from Canas' shoulder, and- On a hilltop, a man stands victorious over his foe, but not without cost. His sons lay dead in the field below, his armor is in ruins and the blade that is his right has been shattered. Still, his nation has survived one more day, and that is good enough for him. His grip on the hilt of his sword finally loosens, and as the sun's first morning rays come over the horizon, the man collapses to the ground, dead. -his blade falls to the ground moments before he does, blood dripping down the stairs. Actually, I should be at -8.
Male Human Warlock 4
Well, this was a dumb mistake. Canas runs up the stairs and sets the nearest skeleton alight. Move to O2, then curse and use Hellish Rebuke on S1(vs Reflex, 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (6) + 5 = 11 Fire damage if he attacks me until EOMNT): 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 101d6 + 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + (4) + 5 = 11
Male Human Warlock 4
I'll take the save. (1d20 ⇒ 17) Canas points his blade at the trio of undead and shouts, and a cacophoney of voices shout with him, the sounds of battle filling their ears. He then runs for the stairs while they're distracted. Cursing B1 and using Clarion Call on them(vs Fort, Thunder damage and deafened until EOMNT, I get 3 temp HP per person hit), then moving to T5 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 261d20 + 6 ⇒ (9) + 6 = 151d20 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 93d4 + 5 + 1d6 ⇒ (2, 2, 3) + 5 + (4) = 16 21 damage to B1, and I believe 3 temp HP for me. Of course, I'm also drawing several OAs.

"A shame. I would of thought this tower would contain more references to its time, or at least have entombed a famous warrior. Truly a shame..." "Whoo" "Well, just because the necromancers could have reanimated any famous warriors doesn't mean they would have. After all, they didn't break the seals on any of the rest." They're still sealed, right?

"Latro, how long would it take you to disable one of the dragons? If it isn't soon, I believe I'm going to do something incredibly stupid." Delay until Latro's disabled one of the dragons for a round, move into the second dragon's fire area, then use Ethereal Stride to teleport to the other side of the dragons. Hopefully they'll have an off switch there. Note: I'd have +4 to all defenses at that point from concealment and Ethereal Stride.
