...wouldn't the DC be 23? Letitia's normal DC for a level 5 spell is 21, but then +4 int would bump that by 2, no? I ask only because I peeked at the GM screen spoiler.

I think we'd determined there wasn't time to wait to take a day to get the divination and cast them, and then reset to 'war footing' spells - plus, Callix's spell list is somewhat restricted anyway.

She holds up a hand, "And, no, not be totally blind - we spend the time travelling to try to figure out what the next challenge may be."

She stops, and blinks, then says, "Too bad we can't use the hut to go somewhere safe - at least temporarily so - to give us the time to use our magic for insight...or to find whatever clues we may have missed... or both."

I don't love Blazing Rondo, because while it is Hast-y, you can't inspire courage at the same time - and I'm a big believer in having a competence bonus to attack and damage that scales with your level. (Of course, I'm also a divine caster, so Concordance isn't a big help for me).

So, I kind of like door #2 - especially since it still lets you stack Good Hope on your performance, and that the ability to nova when needed also just gives you additional flexibility and options, depending on what's going on.

Also, you could potentially work with Ariadna to craft an item that can do one of Virtuoso or Exquisite to reduce the hit to the action economy.
