You have to sign off on them, I think, though by taking 10 on my Spellcraft check I can't fail at learning them. Cost of learning a spell is half the scribing cost for a wizard (source), so 1st level spells = 5 gp each, 2nd level spells = 20 gp each 10 gp - Burning hands
Total of 110 gp. Spellcraft Take 10 = 20 auto succeeds on all these (DC = 15 + spell level).

Calanthe carefully dusts off any of the ashen remains of the ghouls that got on her and stands over them all, "May Pharasma guide you to your real place of rest--and keep you from wandering lost any longer," she finishes, before finally returning to the matters at hand. She pays no heed to the amazed looks from the Taldan bandits; this was merely her sacred duty as a priestess of Pharasma, not something she considered particularly noteworthy. In the meantime, it seemed that the rest of her group had finished up the deal for the Railford distillery. "I hope this means the end of all the undead attacks..." she sighs.

Calanthe turns her attention to the leader (or, if he's dead from an Ebon-crit, then to the uninjured man at the back). Almost all Paizo maps have grids already on there. You can't really enforce snapping to that grid, though. No zooming either, sadly. Go to Google docs and create a new drawing from the left sidebar. 2. From there you can insert images into the drawing from your computer, like the map extracted from the PDF or tokens. 3. Click Share > Change permissions as appropriate. I usually put it on "Anyone with the link can edit" to save time. It really is that simple. :P The only thing I really do is to enlarge the map quite big before putting it in the document (or simply doing so in the Google drawing itself) so it's easier to see the grids and so forth. The more "advanced" things involve using the drawing tool to depict fog of war, area of effect etc. Mostly you can just have big squares that you change to black colour to hide things. In WotR I have a big "polygonal" shape that I can adjust the points of so I can dynamically reveal sections of the cave.

Rather than trying to puzzle out the alien soul-auras (Did plants even have a 'soul'? she idly wonders. It certainly has a life-force, and yet... it's different.), she instead turns to her friends for... 'inspiration'. Ah, yes... right there, Muluk had a small wound in his aura, perhaps doubt lingering from when he nearly perished during his mission into the Blakros Museum not long ago. Plucking that from the cavalier's soul, she forces the curse and unluck into the violet fungus. Using misfortune hex on the fungus; it's not mind-affecting, so it should still affect a plant. Nevertheless, she steps forward, seeking the weaknesses in the hearts and souls of these ratbag men. Her eyes begin to glow with energy as she finds it - one nightmare that haunted the nearest for some time. A fear of losing someone dear to him, or perhaps the sadness of having lost once in the past; the witch sees it as a dark shadowy daemon lurking on the edge of the man's inner essence. Calanthe grasps it and, with a crooked smile, brings it to the forefront of the man's mind. "Remember, remember..." she mutters, her voice echoing somewhat. "Remember that which you'd prefer to forget..." 5-foot step forward and using Misfortune Hex on the nearest, as well as Cackle to continue it if it sticks. DC 15 or roll 2d20 (take lowest) for every roll for the near future. :P
