np. life happens. touching on the previous post, DM, are you opposed to posts "out of turn"? I'm sure the double color spray, lvl 1, player neutralizer... had an effect on posting. (I mean, if I was an action oriented, melee character... built for combat, and I was forced to be sidelined for a combat... I'd be thinking twice about my level of interest in the game) Not that anything was played "wrong". Overpowered spell for underpowered characters + failed save. (tough pill to swallow) We all know, level 1 sucks. Options are limited, character hasn't really been developed yet, lack of "cool" gear... it's a horrible necessary evil. I'm sure once we get a level or 2 under our belts, it will pick back up. .... of course I might just be ranting incoherently early in the morning.

"Uncertain, beautiful things, I command!" A frost forms over Caladrel's hand, small icicles drip and freeze from the end of his finger. A deep, blue, icy beam of energy shoots from the tip of his finger and connects in the center of the hexed sprite's orb of light! Ray of Frost:

This hex lasts for a number of rounds equal to 3 + the witch's Intelligence modifier. A Will save reduces this to just 1 round. This is a mind-affecting effect. you CAN finesse scimitars. It requires: Dervish Dance feat: Prerequisites: Dexterity 13, Weapon Finesse, Perform (dance) 2 ranks, proficient with scimitar.
Benefit: When wielding a scimitar with one hand, you can use your Dexterity modifier instead of your Strength modifier on melee attack and damage rolls. You treat the scimitar as a one-handed piercing weapon for all feats and class abilities that require such a weapon (such as a duelist’s precise strike ability). The scimitar must be for a creature of your size. You cannot use this feat if you are carrying a weapon or shield in your off hand.

Not that it would change Rasari's last attack, but... As a general suggestion to everyone. If you can delay or ready your attacks until after Caladrel goes... I will debuff enemy. This would go for ANY combat. Not just this one. I'm going to go ahead and post my action. As if everyone delayed, but of course if you would prefer, you can always post your actions as if they occurred before my hex.

Sorry, I misread the post and thought for some reason, nothing "out of the ordinary" was happening, and that my character would not be aware of anything else going on. So i was waiting for a new post also. "Mabs? What do you mean... dearies? What has happened and why do you accuse the fey?"

no worries... take whatever time you need. Real Life (understandably) usually takes priority over this. although... when you get back, we will have done enough random encounters on our own without you, that we should be ready for level 2! :) help me out here guys... everyone LOVES it when their character gains a level!
