In her gear section the first item listed for Salask is a Kasatha microcord 1. Can anyone tell me what this is and/or where I can find a description. I have looked in the AP and CRB and can't locate anything. My group is going to be running into her soon and if they end up looting her gear I know they are going to ask what it is or does.

Any help or direction to a written description is greatly appreciated.

If my PCs use their EP during their weather checks do their following checks without EP reset or continue as normal?

Example: a PC does three hourly checks starting at DC-15, 16 and 17 then uses one hour of EP. Does the next check start at a DC-18 or does it go back to a DC-15? Or I can see an argument for it decreasing 1 for every hour as the suit shuts out the environmental conditions for that hour so it may go to a DC-16 if the last check before EP was a 17.

Does this make sense? Not sure which way to rule on this. My group is starting their trek into the wilderness this coming weekend.

You can also get some pretty nice 3d doors from cool mini or not. Their 3d doors for zombiecide are different colors, plastic and swing open/shut.

Also when you look at the chart it does have 12 boxes under each day to track pass/fail/or NA or however you want to track the checks. It just doesn't appear that way when you view it but they are there if you print it.

I think I may have figured it out...not 100% sure.

My first attempt at creating something here. I was concerned with trying to keep up with the environmental checks also and a "travel log" sounded like a good idea. So I made this for the 12 day trek to help me out. Maybe it will help some of you out also or maybe it sucks but like I said first attempt here so be kind :) Feel free to print it off and use if you wish. I printed at as a full page slide and it looks good to me. I also included some of the requirements at the bottom so I wouldn't have to keep flipping back and forth in the CRB and a few spaces to fill in appropriate data for each PC. I tried to color code the pertinent information together so that it would be easier to read quickly.

Thanks so much Black Dow for those really cool handouts. A funny side note on what happened when I used them with my group today. After they read the "news" feeds that they accessed they decided to go the the Absalom Station News station and talk with the reporters who had been covering the stories. After agreeing to an interview with the station for the exclusive story rights (as the were witnesses/participants in the shootout at docking bay 94) they were able to gain almost (not all) the information on the two gangs from the investigative reports covering the gangland goings on at the station.

So your handouts worked great and they look great too. Even though it did cause me to have to do a little on the fly improvisation. Great job and thanks again.

Awesome to hear. My two boys (13 and 9 now) started playing at 11 and 7. They both LOVE it. My 13 year old is trying his hand at GM now. Pathfinder is one of the only things I have found that will keep my 9 year old engaged and playing for hours. We all played for about 5 hours last weekend and he never lost interest. He also loves reading the bestiaries. From a parents perspective it is very cool when they come to you begging to play Pathfinder (or start asking to play in the middle of the week for the weekend ahead)rather than wanting to play video games all the time.

My son's animal companion (leopard) just reached 4th level and he receives the special quality Sprint. Can anyone tell me what this does and where to find it's description? I assume it modifies his speed in some way. I have looked every where I can think of and can not find a description. Other special qualities like scent are searchable by clicking on the word but sprint does not have a link.

I'm sure this has been asked and answered somewhere but the sheer number of threads I haven't been able to find the answer. So I apologize as this is probably a duplicate. I just started playing PACG last weekend with the RoRL base set.

Question: To assist another player do you have to be at the same location as the player? Also can you assist with combat if you are at the same location?

If there is no X in the first cull column does that mean it was culled in the first round?

I have been using syrinescape. They have a lot of pathfinder specific play sets and they are pretty cool. They have both music and sound fx in most of their sets. My kids really love it when we use them in game. They have everything from ambient bar or town noise to fights and spell casting sound fx. They also have specific sets for every module in RotRL. Anyone interested you can find them online. We were introduced to them with a free voucher at free RPG day.

I am very new and am GMing my first AP. I am running Jade Regent. So far everyone is loving it. The caravan stuff is fairly cumbersome but there is a very clear option in the player's guide to not use it if desired. We opted to remove it and haven't had any problems so far. Keep in mind though that everyone else here has more experience at this than me so I may be too new to see an issue but again ours is running very well without the caravan addition.

Like Charlie Bell said I just decided to use my name. Being new to PF and the Paizo site(this is like my third post) I just thought keep it simple. Although I did have to add the C in front because Scott Franklin was already taken by someone so I added the first initial of my first name. As for the avatar I just thought it looked cool.

Also a thanks to everyone on here from a total newbie. I have learned a lot from reading your guys suggestions and explanations on various boards. My boys and I are LOVING this game!

I am currently running Jade Regent. It's the first AP I've run (I am new to PF so my opinion is very limited) and everyone is having a great time and loving the AP. We are starting the second book and so far it seems to have a very nice balance between dungeon crawl and role playing/investigation quality to it. Again total newb here so I don't have the experience other posters do but we are loving this AP.

My guys are 8 and 12. We started with the beginner's box about 2 months ago and went thru it fine. We also went to a couple of society games and they ate it up. We just began the Jade Regent AP and they are having no problems other than the fact I can't get everything prepared quick enough for the amount they want to play. They want to play every day almost. Hell most of the time they remember their feats and other options better than I do and can do all the math on dice rolls quicker too.:)
