"Aye. What's the Red Hand?" Alistair should add some more questions... except he's out with eye trouble. I'll add some more for him: -Posted with Wayfinder

Brokr follows Alistair's lead and runs straight for one of the hobgoblins "Eeeyyaarrgh" he yells as he swings his axes. crunch: move to the nearest hobgoblin and attack
handaxe, attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24 for slashing: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

so some of us went down the path and were ambushed by hobgoblins. Are there more of them down here or are they all over by the ones who didn't come down the path? -Posted with Wayfinder

"I got a treat fer ya', pup." Brokr says as he swings his axes at the beast again. "What d'ye think o' that, eh? HAVE SOME MORE!" He swings a third time with a surge of energy. Crunch:

I see that. The point was just that Brokr ran at the creature and attacked it. -Posted with Wayfinder

"That'll do, I s'pose." Brokr charges the hound and delivers a pair of powerful swing from his axes. Crunch:
is there any advantage for charging? I did not factor that in

I was going to pass on the dual wielder feat until level 12, or maybe never take it, deeming the +2 Strength to be more valuable. But the Quick Draw bit... -Posted with Wayfinder

So drawing a second weapon is not part of the bonus attack? -Posted with Wayfinder
- INACTIVE (GM abandoned game) -
The rules I looked at implied that drawing a weapon was part of the attack action. "moving out of your reach" could have been poor wording for "moving out of a square within your reach." An unfortunate nerf for polearm wielders in comparison to previous editions. Oh well. -Posted with Wayfinder

Brokr drops his Halberd "Stay behind me Alist'r!" he shouts as he draws his axes and swings them at the hobgoblin in one smooth motion. Crunch: Notes:
The rules on reach and attacks of opportunity seem potentially vague on this point--did the Hobgoblins have to provoke an attack of opportunity to reach Brokr? Round 1 action:

I think I know where we're headed after the ferry. Brokr looks at the wizard for a moment before returning to his watch of the roadside. -Posted with Wayfinder

When the wizard looks at him, Brokr widens his eyes in feigned innocence, shrugs his shoulders and spreads his hands. But his eyes belie his mirth. I didn't say a word t' 'er, not a word. 'E did it all 'imself. At the question, he grimaces a little. "P'rhaps we came from there, and p'rhaps we didn't. For now we make for the ferry." -Posted with Wayfinder

You mentioned theatre of the mind; sounds great to me. If there should ever be any kind of thing that requires player manipulation, please put it in Google Slides instead of Google Drawings--the former is editable from mobile devices while the latter is not. Hi-ho! -Posted with Wayfinder |
