Breeze didn't exactly greet the newcomer warmly. Trust was going to take time. "Well, welcome to our squad, I suppose. We'll be making sure you carry your weight. I'm sure the Archbaron will value our reports after our next task." Ill be keeping a close eye on this one...
"So you are bringing another into the squad? What do we know about him or her? Are they going to roll on us, if the heat is on? Did you vet them," Breeze asks, highly suspicious of someone wanting to take more of her loot.

Breeze agrees. "If we find them tomorrow, we will take the keys. That's why we take the valuable items to the Ash house. I don't trust what those goodie goodies might do."
"Let's put him in it now, and see what happens when the sun rises tomorrow. If we have the only key, there will be a nice display to warn the town to not ignore the rules. If we can find some rotten vogetabels for the onlookers to pelt him with, that's even better."
"All those deputies have keys to this locker and could use their contents to get up to real meanness. I say we keep the gems, platinum, and magic items for safekeeping. I don't want those to fall into the wrong hands."
In no rush, Breeze takes her sweet time and pops all the locks to the place. "Gather around, ladies. Let's see what we new deputies have found!". She lets out a low whistle when she sees the entirety of the collection. Breeze rubs her new holy symbol of Norgorber and tries to detect any magical aura that might be surrounding nay of the items. She also picks up "Her Highness's Tea Service." "Looks like that needs an official review," she smirks.
Perception
Breeze looks at all three cabinets first, then the lockbox, looking for traps the deputies might have left behind. She growled as she did so, embarrassed at their inexperience.
"I agree about the Stand. I couldn't care less. Throw him in a cell until he comes to. We can find the keys to the pillory while we put him in his cell.". Breeze opens the door to the jail and begins looking for what would appear to be a key fitting the device. Perception
I'm still good to go. I'm enjoying this AP quite a bit so far. Might want to see if any of the MM crew want to jump into the spot here so you don't have to do a full recruitment.

Sense motive "Boy, I wasn't born yesterday. I see the lies all over your face. This is your last chance. Tell us everything or you will spend the night in a cell. Bad things happen in jails," Breeze mutters, extending the sharp claws from her hand pads.
"Tell us what you know about this Angel Knight? Have you met her? Where? Is she in town now?"
Breeze looks at the barmaids. "How's the chili tonight? Go get me the whole pot, please.". There was no way that Caggan wasn't wearing that pot as the pillorying took place. "Bard, you've got some questions to answer as well. Tell us about the subject of your new song. Don't leave out anything or you'll join Caggan."

If possible Breeze will take a 5' step and get flanking with Nysene. She again swings her shortsword at the man. She wanted to chop his head off, but that was against her orders. Flanking attack to do nonlethal Nonlethal Damage plus

She grins at seeing her blade strike true. "I've wanted to do that for a long time," she adds wickedly.
Initiative Breeze emits a low growl as she pulls the masterwork shortsword she was gifted not very long ago. "Hope you've got a fresh pot of chili in the back. After I knock you out, you're wearing it for the rest of the night!"
Breeze growls. She wants to slice Bolgart from throat to belly but that wasn't included in her orders. She waits to see if the others could talk him down. She also keeps close look on the bard, ensuring the group didn't lose track of him. "And Kels, don't get any funny ideas about running. You stay here too. We have questions for you."
"Okay, gang, time to break it up. I'm not sure why you are violating the new decrees, but you are. Bolgart and the hard...you two stay. The rest of you get home now and we'll forget this happened."
I'd assume Breeze would be more comfortable at The Ash House for the time being. She might have a little room somewhere, but with she being friends with Cimri and earning good coin with the group, she'd want to learn more about them.
Breeze happily marches the others toward the Last Stand, ready to hand out some of her brand of justice. "I can't wait to make an example out of this Bolgart!" While the group walked, Breeze inquired about the scene they just left. "So that little Razlago was a demon the whole time? Crazy. What did the rest of you think about that Archbaron? Do we trust him? I'm still not sure."
Breeze growls, thinking of the flying pot of chili. "Yes. I expect things to get a bit messy once again. Let's change first. And then I'm fine with heading right out."
Breeze actually puts the sash on this time, feeling a more powerful connection to the team, and just generally stronger. In the library, she had found a small treatise on a god of thieves, Norgorber, that she started reviewing voraciously. She was quite keen on his focus on trickery and guile, rather than just brute force. After spending time reflecting on the teachings, she began to develop a couple of new tricks she was itching to show off.
Hopefully we will run across a wand or two of those tasty low levels spells we would all like to know in a perfect world!
Grease might be a handy spell for us, Shiloh. With us having less HP than most groups, there will be times that we just have to run away. Laying a Grease down behind us might let that happen easier.
I have decided on following Norgorber, to play up the rogue side. He seems like a good follow for a rogue. I am taking the Trickery domain, doubling down on the roguish feel.
I'm not 100% sure, but I think Samy might allow a reroll on a 1.

Awesome! I love leveling! It'll take me a couple days to get Breeze advanced. Unless someone else feels the need, I'll have her take a level in Inquisitor so we can use wands of the necessary curative spells. Samy, I have forgotten. Do we gain a point or two to an attribute every level with you, or is it every other level?
I'm fine with the group think. If we want to take a break, I'm fine with that. I'll still be on the boards a couple times a day, I'm sure, if anyone wants to chat!

Still shaking her paw from the unholy fire, Breeze had no idea what the strange baby insect creature was. She shrugged her shoulders, to really caring, so long as the promise of gold was true. "What have you uncovered? A chance to make some gold sounds pretty good to me," the feline purrs.
"Augh, that smarts! Burned right though my fur! Dammit!". She quickly pulled her paw back from the fire. She waited to see if all of her group would follow through with the indoctrination.
150 gold a week, 150 gold a week... Breeze kept repeating to herself. She looked closely at the fiery crystal, then closed her eyes and stuck her hand over it. She quickly opened her eyes and read the words off the scroll, doing her best to not screw up the words.
Breeze looked at the others, quite unsure as to whether or not she wants to place her furry paw onto an obviously hot crystal. "Any way we can say the words without setting ourselves on fire, Archbaron?"
For the right amount of gold, Idnswear my mother was an auroch! "Oh yeah, I'm in. Tell me what to say and I'll take your oath!"
"Well, I was thinking of saying yes anyway. If the rest of you are in, count me in with the team. Sounds like a good deal where I'm sitting. Pleasure to make it official with you, Archbaron!"
Know. Local Breeze raised her eyebrows a bit at the sexist tone that the Archbaron took. 600 gold a month is more gold than I know what to do with! And, having some real power around town would be nice. Maybe I can get even with that chili cook!! Still, she doesn't want to rush into this without having a discussion with the others. "Could we talk about your offer outside? This is interesting, all right..."
