GM Construct - Botting Guide

Continuing to bot for Drakmak

Drakmak continues to tread water as he sends magical attacks towards the curmudgeonly crustacean.

◆ Stay afloat
◆◆Electric arc (heightened+1) DMG Vs DC 18 Fort: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

GM Construct - Botting Guide

Continuing to bot for Drakmak... And since water fights can be pretty deadly, I'll actually use a spell slot this time

Drakmak, already somewhat out the way, concentrates on a spell while not sinking.

◆◆ Force Barrage: 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (2, 2) + 2 = 6
◆ Stay afloat

Botting for Drakmak...

Fort DC 20: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8

Drakmak is swept off his feet, cracking his head hard against the floor. Head spinning, the orc gets back to his feet and sends a retaliatory arc of lightning towards Baralbus.

◆ Stand from Prone
◆◆ Electric Arc: Basic reflex DC 18 or Electrical Dmg: 2d4 ⇒ (2, 4) = 6

GM Construct - Botting Guide

To keep things moving, I'll bot a couple more actions for Drakmak...

Drakmak gets out of dodge, moving south towards Archurius, then sends another electrical arc at Baralbus.

◆ Stride
Concealment check, DC 5: 1d20 ⇒ 8
◆◆ Electric Arc: Basic reflex DC 18 or Electrical Dmg: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

GM Construct - Botting Guide

To keep things moving, I'll bot a couple of actions for Drakmak...

Drakmak steps forward and sends a electrical shock between the two assassins.

◆ Stride
◆◆ Electric Arc: Basic reflex DC 18 or Electrical Dmg: 2d4 ⇒ (3, 1) = 4

Click - accessing botting protocol for Tera Fosham - whirr - error - no protocol found - fallback scenario - initiate generic reasonable assumption protocol...

Tera raises her crossbow and fires a bolt through the crowd.

Atk. Crossbow; Bless: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 3 + 1 = 23
Dmg. Piercing: 1d8 ⇒ 3
Confirm Crit: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 = 11

It's the only thing I could think of doing without using consumable abilities.

Click.... Whirrrrrr....

A rusty old robot steps out from a dusty corner of a dark room "I am Bot Buddy SH-13LD." It says in a mechanical, emotionless voice "If you disappear, I will emulate you. However, I am not programmed to do..." The whirring of gears increases as Bot Buddy searches for the right word "Imagination... As such, it is in your best interests that I am activated as seldom as possible... That is all." He then steps back into the dark corner and powers down.

Botting Policy

Bot Buddy SH-13LD will be activated under the following circumstances:

If we're in combat and a player hasn't posted for 24 hours from the start of a new round, I will bot them. However, if the new round is posted on a weekend (like today,) I will wait 48 hours before botting.

  • It's combat, and 24 (48 on weekends) hours have passed since the start of a new round;
  • The group needs a skill check from you, and 24 (48 on weekends) hours have passed since it was first required;
  • You tell me that you will be gone for a few days, and ask me to bot you.

I prefer not to bot, but I also want the game to keep moving. If I do bot you, it will likely be minimal and I will not use any non-renewable resources except in dire situations.

Click - accessing botting protocol for Umbrutani - whirr - activating...

Umbru advances towards the fleeing bowmen, making sure to maintain the same distance between them as he whips out another vial. Safely away from the duel between Brock and the Kellid woman, Umbru tosses the bomb at the man with purple warpaint engulfing him in flames.

bomb vs purple touch AC, cognatogen, range penalty: 1d20 + 7 - 2 ⇒ (16) + 7 - 2 = 21
dmg: 1d6 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 5 + 2 = 13

It has been 24 hours, so I'm botting Umbru. Kellid actions will be up soon...

Fort Save (Dus): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Fort Save (Eidolon): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15

The creature's shriek borrows deep into Dus's soul and his limbs begin to stiffen. He stands frozen in the middle of reloading his crossbow, one hand on crossbow bolt and staring unblinking at the dead demon on the floor. His Eidolon, on the other hand, shrugs of the effects and prowls impatiently, looking for an opportunity to pounce.

Eidolon readies an action to close the distance on the creature as soon as it drops low enough.

Click - accessing botting protocol for Sidi Yawgu - whirr - error - no protocol found - fallback scenario - initiate generic reasonable assumption protocol...

Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24
