I've been dared by my DM to post my one of my current pathfinder characters :-
Here's the background for my chaotic neutral sprite fae-blood sorceress.
Her Most Gracious Ambience, The Lady Katalyna Moonbow, Third of the Green, or Lady Moonbow as she prefers to be called (never Kat, HMGATLKMTG or 'insect') is lost. She has no idea where the rest of her clan of sprites are after being summoned as a familiar by the wizard, Danton Veale. He proved a good master, and during her time with Danton, being naturally drawn to the magic, picked up the rudiments of spell casting. Unfortunately, Danton was killed during a fight after a street mugging went wrong.
Miraculously, Lady Moonbow survived the violent sundering of the link with her master, but it has left her slightly unhinged. She now has a soft spot for spell casters of all sorts and a deep abiding hatred for those that would do them harm which often leads to extremes of vengeful behaviour. At the moment, she is attaching herslf to any potentially helpful spellcasters in an attempt to get back to her clan at the 'Place Where the Moonlight Plays Through the Leaves and Dances in the Glade'.
She is also somewhat lazy, and will quite happily ride around all day perched on, or hidden in the folds and decorations of someone's hat - the fancier the better. In fact, if she has taken a liking to you and you don't own a fancy hat, she will acquire one for you. Sprites, being one of the more savage and barbaric breeds of fey are not known for their knowledge of the world beyond their own lands, and Lady Moonbow is no exception, being naive of human and other humanoid customs and behaviours.
She also has little or no shame...
