Deceased
Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. You can't use him anymore (well, he's dead), so any experience/gold/fame you might have gotten so far is lost. However, nothing prevents you from "restarting" with a fresh level 1 character called Malkiel too, with the same build, if you want.

Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 "Sway away, it won't get you far. Awaken yourself sister, let us smash to bits this beast of brittle bones!" he calls to Dolre, hoping to shake her awake from the pseudo-skeleton's enthralling dance. Another swing from his flail is heard, yet this time it seems to benefit from a better aim. Heavy Flail (cold iron, divine favor): 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 + 2 = 161d10 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 3 + 2 = 8

Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 Bodham resists valiantly and smashes the skeletal remains with all his might, yet for all his courage the dwarf is reckless and misses his mark completely. Bodham angrily gazes at the creature, then charges it with all his might, attempting to crush the bones with his heavy flail. "Groetus's might will bring you down! This is the end times for you and you alone!" Heavy Flail (cold iron, divine favor, charge): 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 + 2 + 2 = 111d10 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 3 + 2 = 14 However, the powerful blow is slow and easily avoidable for the creature. AC is lowered by 2 until my next action. Consequently, Bodham's AC is 14 for now... should the creature want to change her highly diversified tactics!

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. Phew, at least it's dazed and not stunned. 2d4 is tough, though. Too bad Dickey doesn't have the Lingering Performance feat... Will: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (16) + 5 = 21 You can't daze a crazy mind! Bodham prays Groetus for divine favor (+2 attack/+2 damage with Fate's Favored), then moves closer to the skeletal snake, getting ready to strike the beast down. (moving 4 squares in the monster's direction, please put me in front of the northern door so that I have a charge line for next round)

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. "We'd better let it run away, lest he should think us to be hunters chasing a rabbit. Let it hole somewhere, as long as it doesn't hinder us in our search of this place." With those words, Bodham stops and returns to the room, helping his companions out of the area of darkness.

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. The mad dwarf gazes at the magus. "Talk? We could talk. I've tried talking to the moon once, believing it was Groetus himself. She did answer me, though you wouldn't like to hear what she said - never figured a moon could be as offensive. So yes, we could talk. I won't do the talking - mind you - I don't want to get an axe blow for sole answer. Be my guest." Bodham curtsies, presenting the door to Dolre with a flourish.

"Hahaha, I envy you, vermin, for you shall face Groetus before I do! ... Provided you still have a face by then." Bodham waits to see if anyone's hurt, then is ready to move forward again.

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. "It far too early for you to join the Grinning Moon, Dolre, stay among the living for now! Of course I'll heal you. Very handy, these wands. However I don't have one myself yet." Then the dwarf proceeds to use the wand on the magus to get her back on her feet. No worries having me healing with the wand out-of-combat, so you can roll without needing further permission. Then replying to Dolre: "I can tell you it isn't an undead creature, but that's about it." By the way, is there some kind of map?

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. The mad dwarf eyes at the priestess, nods at her words as a sign of respect, then bursts out as she finishes her explanations. "Bodies disappearing! That simply WON'T do. Pharasma can't accept that. My Lord Groetus can't accept that. I certainly can't accept that. Why do you think they're lying when they're dead?! They're waiting quietly for the End Times, when Groetus shall recall them to their bodies and walk. What could happen if they aren't there anymore. NOTHING! Nothing will happen, that is the gravest problem of all!" blurts out the dwarf in one breath. "... we accept the mission, of course. Rest in piece, good priestess. No, I mean rest... and be peaceful about it. No need to die, you'll do that soon enough!" Accepting both vials, Bodham carefully puts them into his belt pouch, and then ventures into the darkness of the ossuary.

Cause of death:
Eaten by a Necrophidius in the depths of the Godsmouth Ossuary, Kaer Maga. A scruffy-looking dwarf smelling of troll guts arrives, mumbling unintelligible things in his auburn beard. He doesn't seem aware of your presence at first, but his maddened gaze eventually turns to you, piercing you like razors, searching your eyes in a hopeless quest for meaning. This dwarf's head is entirely shaved, and a large tattoo depicting a weird moon - or is it a grinning skull? - has been traced upon the bald skull. This dwarf is a stout one, no doubt about that. Numerous shallow scars rake his flesh, but his body is protected by a scaled armor. A large flail made of a strange metal hangs at his side. "Repent, sinners! The Harbinger of Last Days sends me to help Our Lady of Graves as she is in the most dire of needs! I will gaze upon the sins of this place and eradicate it with utmost fervor. And the sinners shall sink in an oblivion of eternal darkness, unable to benefit from the Lady's safe embrace and wise judgement. Repent, I tell you, before it is too late!" |
