Careful, there is some sort of magical symbol trap on the statue, I wouldnt get too close. Blend can disable magical traps which includes symbol spells (set out in the Disable Device skill). I assume you can do this without having to get so close that you set the thing off? The DC is 25+spell level. The spells fire trap, glyph of warding, symbol, and teleportation circle also create traps that a rogue can disarm with a successful Disable Device check.
