Well, that's not very friendly

Blend reacts quickly and violently to being attacked. His bow rises and he shoots repeatedly at the nearest dragon.

Blend looks over the columns and takes out an arrow, pushing the tip into the brown column.

If they can be disabled then it is probably best we start that way rather than trying to have people stand in the weird things. I have acid resistance at the moment as well if we do go that way. For now I recommend you all back out of the room in case these explode on me.

Blend will take 10 if possible for 33 to disable them. If take 10 is not possibe here are some rolls

Blend raises a hand to stop people pushing forward, breaking stealth as he does so.

Careful, there is some sort of magical symbol trap on the statue, I wouldnt get too close.

Blend can disable magical traps which includes symbol spells (set out in the Disable Device skill). I assume you can do this without having to get so close that you set the thing off? The DC is 25+spell level.

The spells fire trap, glyph of warding, symbol, and teleportation circle also create traps that a rogue can disarm with a successful Disable Device check.

Blend breaks out his tools and sets to working out a way to disable the symbol from a distance.

I think the GM probably has a better idea than you as to what languages they speak. Also the half dragon template doesnt grant languages to the starting creature (here, dire lions).
