Liberty's Edge

Before flying up, Archer uses his wand of Cure Light Wounds to heal his wound.

CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

He then uses both of his pearls of power to recall his divine favor and his shield of faith.

Just in case, he will trigger his blessing of good and his divine armor before they open the door.

"You two and your muskets, and your training. The point of guns is to have something to fire when you are swinging in on the boarding party, or what have you. Then the real fun starts when you go hand to hand.

"Who cares about misfires? Not so spendy if you don't bother reloading until after the combat. Fire once, draw your blade, and finish things."

Liberty's Edge

Black Jack will throw his pirate hat into the ring. He is a tengu pirate (mysterious stranger 1, swashbuckler 4). He represents Liberty's Edge, and is the scourge of inner sea slavers.

I do have other options... such as Glastor Glitterhoff III, gnome cleric of desna 2

What BNW says is true, especially since it is unlikely that you'll need the gun until it makes it to the AR. Note that it is possible that it will never make it.

The weapon is interesting, for sure, and if it makes it in I may have to use one, since I do t plan to ever reload in combat.

Or at least long enough for me to see play.

Now, to build a swashbuckler(picaroon)/gunslinger (mysterious stranger). Why does this have to be so complicated?

Liberty's Edge

And I don't need that single level of Gunslinger to do my tricks! Just a brace of pistols, and a specific archetype!

Note: as I understand it, Swords and Shackles often means lots of guns.

Oops, Scourge of the inner sea. Caw caw! Yar matey!

Yeah, the gunslinger is to allow him to actually own a gun. In PFS you have to have Gunsmithing to even buy a gun. Ever.

Also gives him another pool for grit/panache.

There is a feat that seemed useless to me that may be cool to get... opening strike. If you hit with a ranged Attack, you get +4 to hit with your next melee.

Have to see... This combo may not actually work as well as I am hoping.
