Hated Target (Su): The phantom can take a move action to designate one creature within its line of sight as a hated target. The phantom gains a +2 bonus on attack rolls against its hated target, and a bonus on damage rolls equal to 1/2 the phantom’s Hit Dice (minimum 1). The phantom is so focused on this hated target that it takes a –2 penalty on attack rolls against all other creatures. The phantom can maintain these bonuses against only one target at a time, and these bonuses remain in effect until either the hated opponent is dead or it has been out of the phantom’s line of sight for at least 1 minute. When the spiritualist reaches 7th level, the phantom can use this ability as a swift action, and takes no penalty when attacking creatures that are not designated as its hated enemy.

Traits:

Excitable [Combat; Gnome]: You demand that everything must happen right now, no matter what, and are too impatient to wait for everyone else to catch up. You finish people’s sentences, blurt out the punch lines to slowly-told jokes, rarely make plans, and leap headlong into anything that looks like it might get interesting. While this has sometimes gotten you in trouble, it’s also trained you to start moving a split second before everyone else, and that’s saved your hide a few times as well. You gain a +2 trait bonus on all Initiative checks.

Uskwood Hunter [Region]: You have served the Umbral Court, discreetly following interlopers through the twilit city streets of Pangolais to pinpoint their locations for the authorities. You gain a +1 trait bonus on Stealth checks, and Stealth is always a class skill for you.

Languages:

Gnome, Common, Sylvan

Racial Traits:

+2 Constitution, +2 Charisma, –2 Strength: Gnomes are physically weak but surprisingly hardy, and their attitude makes them naturally agreeable.
Small: Gnomes are Small creatures and gain a +1 size bonus to their AC, a +1 size bonus on attack rolls, a –1 penalty to their Combat Maneuver Bonus and Combat Maneuver Defense, and a +4 size bonus on Stealth checks.
Slow Speed: Gnomes have a base speed of 20 feet.
Fell Magic: Gnomes add +1 to the DC of any saving throws against necromancy spells that they cast. This racial trait replaces gnome magic.
Darkvision: Some gnome strains have lived in the underground depths for so long they have given up on light entirely and gained darkvision with a range of 60 feet. This racial trait replaces low-light vision and keen senses.
Shadow Dodger: Gnomes with this trait gain a +4 dodge bonus to their AC against incorporeal creatures and partially real creatures and objects, such as those created by shadow conjuration, but only if successfully disbelieved. This racial trait replaces defensive training and illusion resistance.
Explorer: Many gnomes are obsessed with seeing as much of the world as possible, rather than perfecting some specific talent or vocation. These gnomes gain a +2 racial bonus on Climb checks and checks for one Knowledge skill of their choice. This racial trait replaces hatred and obsessive.
Weapon Familiarity: Gnomes treat any weapon with the word "gnome" in its name as a martial weapon.
