That'd be the guy-- from all accounts, he and Al were pretty decent friends. Which makes sense, since Al did a good few of his songs.

(His Divinyls cover was part of one of his Polka medleys, so the lyrics are intact but the instruments are, naturally, rearranged.)

”Big shield, thick hides, light on my feet, and I can still manage bad luck,” she says, touching the spot in her side where the hide armor is now separated. ”I’m just glad I’ve been blessed with the kind of magic that lets me stitch it up again quickly—and Seren, too, maybe more so.”

She stretches and rolls out her shoulders.

”I’m afraid I’m going to be hard to find for a bit—but if you find a heavyset catfolk lady with a great axe on her shoulder, I won’t be too far behind,” she chuckles.

OOCly, Bibi is now caught up with my wife’s PC and she’s going to be pretty much “in-person exclusive.” Unfortunately that means waiting for the plague to depart our lands, so she’s gonna be on the bench for a bit. ...Not that she’s likely to mind, as long as that bench is comfortable.

If you like her enough, I’m happy to let her lounge around the Flaxseed Lodge for role play fun, though!

"I think Delroya mentioned a cleanup crew," Bibi points out. "...Not that this guy's gonna need much more than a broom and dustpan."

Bibi sees that coming and averts her eyes, and holds up a finger. She's gonna need a minute.

"I think... I think that one's still alive, if someone can... oog... tie him up or something..."

"Hold on..."

She clears her throat. "I can do that about three more times today. Results may vary, and I don't have to touch you directly on the wound if it's in a place you don't want my vixen-person pawbs, but it might be a little less effective."

"Cool, cool, love seeing that up close..."

Bibi tries not to think too hard about what just happened to that guy-- while giving Seren a quick thumbs-up as the bleeding slows significantly.

She seems to be muttering to herself, in the meantime.

"Blood's not real... blood's not real..."

I was a bit concerned until I saw you had Selective Channeling. Hooray for not undoing my hard work!

But yeah, letting Elena or Omnia drop folks with confidence is probably the best way to go about it; her damage output is ridonkulous for this level, and his blasts are probably the best-suited toward an out-of-reach enemy.

Bibi grits her teeth and hisses through them, trying to stifle a shout, but not entirely managing. When she does shout, it is decidedly a cuss.

With the merc still recovering from his swing, Bibi lunges forward and tries to slap some frost into his body!

"Hey-hey-hey-hold on!" chimes Bibi, reaching after the retreating healer--

Shield Bash: 1d20 + 1 - 4 ⇒ (8) + 1 - 4 = 5

--with an emphasis on grace and no emphasis on actually doing anything useful; the healer pretty much walks right past her unhindered.

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22

Thankfully, she's able to shake off the wave of negative energy. "I'm a naturally positive person, I'll have you know! I'm positive that you just walked into a worse situation!"

Bibi sees the blade coming and steps aside, knocking it aside with her shield. Her hand, still wreathed in the white cold, closes in to grab the healer...

She gets halfway toward him, and then her face screws up; she pulls her hand back to cover a yawn.

"Sorry~" she mumbles, stretching. "Just got up from a nap..."

Cold Aura is AoE; both Aspis would be affected! ...for all 1 damage it does!

Bibi takes a step forward, hand outstretched to shake with her new "friends."

Unfortunately, Bibi has trouble making contact unless the GM rules that the Aspis would have come in for a very frosty handshake and renders the roll moot? c:.

A sudden rush of cold like a blizzard surging through a doorway pours out of her, and the snow swirls around Bibi; it's like she's at the center of her own personal snowglobe.

Bibi tilts her head back and frowns.

"Forgot about the skylights," she grumbles. "Think they're going to rappel down like in one of those action movies plays? All I've got is a sling if they decide to get fancy and use arrows..."

"Of course, you get a good momentum going and a good sling bullet to the forehead will fell even someone twice your size. Admittedly, it was a halfling that told me that story..."

Bibi takes a bit of time to mock up a quick snake-like emblem, and sticks the patch to her chest.

"Juuuuust long enough to get close," she advises.

If I'm not mistaken, Disguise is usually a secret check, because I'm not gonna know how well I'm disguised. I think I did a pretty good job, for what it's worth...

+4 Disguise mod, btw.

Can I use a Disguise Kit to toss a snake emblem on myself? Figure that'll help with the smooth-talking so I can get in close.

Without opening her eyes, Bibi mumbles, "Well I think... you'll wanna stay toward the middle, if they come from multiple directions, or toward the back, if they all conglommate. Congolate? Conglomerate. If they all conglomerate on one side. Anyway, try to stay somewhere that you aren't going to get sniped from the door like behind some crates or something and then figure out where you're best-off when the weapons come out."

"I'm still kinda hoping they bunch up so I can just run up to them and freeze their sensitive bits off. Nobody dresses for cold in Diobel."

Oof! Well, ‘tis the season for spotty availability anyway. (Fa la la la la?)

Bibi nods. "No problem at all. I think most-if-not-all of us would rather be somewhere else right now. We'll get it all sorted and when you come back, it'll be like the whip was never here."

She yawns, and leans against some crates near the main entrance. "I'm just going to... catch a brief nap..." she mutters.

Bibi nods, and retrieves the alchemist's notes. "We've got an unrefined sample around here somewhere as well," she says, "lifted it off a guy who lived in the sewer."

"We're Pathfinders," Bibi says. A shield is on her arm, but her weapon is still on her back, and she makes no motion to reach it.

Of course, she doesn't actually need it anyway.

"We heard the Aspis were dealing whip from this warehouse, so we're here to make it disappear. It looks like they're using your resources to do some real nasty work-- if it's all the same to you, do you mind looking the other way while we quietly remove it from your warehouse? We won't touch anything else."

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (7) + 8 = 15
I knew it was gonna be a 15. I'm not sure how I knew, but I knew!

My snow powers have never been more in season!

Maybe toss in an angle of "hey, we know there's whip in one of these crates, if you let us handle it the whip will disappear without your input and you guys can plead that you didn't know it was there at all if it becomes a Legal Thing."

I thiiiiink that's about the only option here. Or at least the best option-- fighting them or using the writ are Not Recommended (but not quite "Mission Failed" conditions either).

And I think we're missing a Good Liar.

I get to cast spells on my own terms, some of them outside of the cleric spell list, all for the low, low price of sometimes getting super nauseous. It's fine! Just toss me a ginger ale.

If anyone is concerned: Seren and I have been playing together on the boards for like 2+ years now, we're just havin' fun!

Of course clerics know how to talk to people, they have to spend a whole hour trying to coax spells out of their sugar daddies every morning.

Meanwhile, I can use that hour for sweet, sweet sleep. B)

As a CHA-based caster and generally easy-going folk, Bibi's pretty likeable. +4 to Bluff and Intimidate, +8 to Diplomacy.

Can you believe Bluff and Disguise aren't Class Skills for Oracles? The nerve!

Maybe also crate the stairway beside the lift? Make it so that the fastest way to get up is to climb, and that'll slow them down... and force their backs to a cliff, so they can get Bull Rushed off if we want to go that route.

"So, if it works for everybody else, I'd like to be right up front for this," says Bibi as they make preparations that we'll sort out later. "Once we know the group we're looking at is Aspis, I can get close and freeze the whole lot of 'em."

I have Cold Aura. Once a day, as a Swift action, I can do 1d6 Cold vs. everyone in a 10-foot radius. It also grants me Concealment until my next turn! Great opening move :D

"Is there any reason we couldn't, like, keep an eye out for the Kortos, and when their group arrives, slink away and return to wait for the Aspis? Or are these crates already visibly tampered with?"

”Any easy way to tell the difference between the Consortiums?” asks Bibi, who follows at a distance so that she can reduce the number of steps she takes.

For me, it’s because I already have a +4!

""A Club sandwich? I would think trying to eat a piece of wood would be quite difficult."

The vixen-person bristles... then grins as it dawns on her. "Haa! I get it."

Bibi waves her hand and a small spout of water forms.

"Pretty fond of it myself," she grins.

After a short nap, Bibi spends most of the night on the boat; she doesn't drink ("not without Braniri here to keep track of what I say so I know what to apologize for in the morning, sorry"), but she's generally pretty amiable for chatter, and will gladly chill anyone's drink when asked (though after a couple of these, she pulls a short spear from inside her coat and makes sure it's resting in easy reach over her shoulder).

When the note arrives the next day, Bibi is just getting out of her hammock. She reads it over and bobs her head.

"I suppose we expected something like this anyway. No time to lose, though. Do you think we can stop and grab something to eat on the way if we take it with us? Some bread, maybe. I could go for a club sandwich..."

"Anyway-- come on, guys! Free whip on the ship! Follow us!"

She gestures toward the ladder and waves some of the vials around, hoping they'll follow-- and if they need help, that some of her teammates will lend a hand.

Bibi shrugs, and pulls a cloak out of her pack.

"I tend not to wear this unless it's cold-- hide armor's already warm enough. If we lay him on this and carry him that way, people are likely to assume not-horrible things."

Bibi shrugs. "I'm still on Team Bring-His-Hiney-To-The-Ship-And-Make-Him-Valsin's-Problem, by the way."

"I just don't want to carry him. I've already touched him enough as-is."

Totally fine with you nabbing the cloak, Elena. As our frontline damage-dealer, it would suck if you got hit with something debilitating. Not that we're doing to see Dominate Person at level 1 (...I hope), but...

Bibi raises an eyebrow at Seren. "You're not one of those don't-kill-the-murderer-or-you'll-be-just-as-bad types, are you?" she asks. "Not that there's anything wrong with that, I just don't agree with the lifestyle."

She then chuckles through her nose, as if she's said something quite clever.

"Anyway-- come on, guys! Free whip on the ship! Follow us!"

”I sure don’t know anything about any drugs stronger than alcohol or flayleaf and I’m kind of a lightweight when it comes to those but here, let me take a look.”

She gives it a little shake as she stares at it.

”Yup. That’s definitely... a liquid.”

Bibi blinks.

”Okay, but we know your secret too, soooooo...”

”We can always bring him back to Valsin, let him make the call,” Bibi points out. She finds a nice wall to lean against, and begins to nod off.

”He’s not dead yet,” Bibi points out. ”He’s still shivering. If we want to save him, we can... snuggle him, I guess. Unless someone has a better heat source.”

”Right. Everybody get in line,” says Bibi, waving her fingers.

A spout of water forms in front of her; she washes her own hands off, then gestures at the rest of the group to shower off.
