I'm only Trained in Survival. I have the Ignite Fireworks spell that should burn them all and do some sonic damage. It does a 10ft burst from 60 ft range. Want me to try it?

I thought Beryl has the Highest Medicine Mod? I barely heal anyone anyway. The main reason I even took Medicine was because Bertrum prefers to be self-sufficient if he can.

Beryl should have the gloves.

Got it! I will try and remember that in the future. My only problem is that I worry I won't be able to do enough damage to get past its DR (Or whatever Blink bonus it has) to the Bhargest without using power attack. We need to put this thing down faster, or we will all be in bad shape soon enough.

Rather than chase after the monster, Bertrum decides to see what the magical forces of the earth have to say...and summons an Earth Mephit behind the blinking Bhargest!

3 Actions: Summon Elemental:

This is meant mostly as a destraction and flanking bonus, but who knows? Do summoned creatures get to attack on the the round they are summoned?

Couple of questions: What size is he now compared to my normal size? And what are my options here? I doubt I’m allowed to expand to normal in his mouth to break his jaw or whatever. Can I at least break the grapple when I change, or is that a separate action? Poison just does damage here? Did the antitoxins we took earlier not help with that at all?

Trying to play the part...Bertrum freezes for a second, licks his eyeball, and runs a little back the way he came. Stopping for a moment, he looks back glaring at the goblin and flicks his tail in a somewhat rude gesture meaning...

Follow me...or I will taunt you a second time! -BTW: Can I cast spells in Wild Shape? I haven't found anywhere where it says I can or can't. Also, technically, I get +10 Stealth in pest form, so that's a total of +16, with a total of 22 on the roll you made. Apologies, I would have made the Stealth roll myself, but I was at work doing the post on my phone, so it was harder to do the dice at the time.

Grabbing the goblin by his normal shirt, Bertrum wiggles a finger in his face.

"For once, let us discuss out mission before barreling in there. I'm not sure my body can keep taking the pounding it has been and keep healing correctly."

He then turns to Beryl.

"Its poisonous. Can you give us elixirs that might help with that? Also anything else that might help us fight it?"

I don't know...do we have anything that can produce Good or Law damage?

Won't a goblin know what a Barghest is? They are sort-of related. Right? Otherwise its an evil planar creature if I remember correctly. Anybody have any Planes lore?

You also need to remember this was before feats were invented. Whatever your class gave u was what you got. Heck…Ranger spells included Magic Missile if I remember correctly.

Wild Shape didn’t kick in until 6th level i think, then u were limited to one mammal, one reptile and one bird each day…or something like that.

He then tears the silk with his halberd's sharp edge at range, to see what is beyond.

Ha! Im old school. I know why… scimitars are curved and so when they created the original Druid class back in 1st Edition they tried to keep with the original historical concept of them. The only weapon known to be associated with Druids were ritual sickles that were crescent shaped. In order to limit the class for balance sake, (I guess) they added scimitars along with ‘natural-simple weapons’ like slings and spears. Ridiculous, but it makes sense under the right circumstances.

I've got a ton of weapons as is. Can't use scimitars either, which is so weird to me. If no one can use it or wants it, we should keep it and transfer the power on it later when we have the money. I would love to put it on my Bastard sword or my silver Morningstar...assuming that's even possible with the scimitar's special ability.

After a short nap, and a ton of water supplies being used up once he wakes up, Bertrum leans heavily on his Halberd and moves to follow Enara...slowly.

OK, I'm healed and no longer poisoned, but am I still 'Clumsy'?
