Beordt lets out a happy bear roar. "Tis a good sight." Beordt nods to the old minotaur. "We are glad to bring them back to you." As the boat is secured Beordt readies to head to the inn. He stops when his feet hit solid ground reveling in knowing its solid and enjoying that strange sensation of the world still rocking with the boat as his brain adjusts to the change. He smiles at the others and heads for the door of the inn.

Thank you Dack. It is a crit.
Also I am not sure whether a 14 hits. If it does then my Divine Fury damage would hit on Greatsword 1. If not it would be applied to Greatsword 2 because the wording is "first successful attack." All that to say is if a 14 misses then Greatsword to will have an additional 1d6 when Divine Fury doubles do to the crit.

So the maiden is roughly medium sized but has something to lash out 30 feet. Does it appear to be a shape shifter. Or some sort of weird creature. During the trip. "What lives in the waters that we avoid?" Once at the crossing Beordt looks around. Are there places where rope could help. Perhaps if a lead person crossed a line could be added to help keep people steady. If we actually have a climbing kit. We could set up pitons and a safety line.
