Hey Rilkus, I'm just trying to get used to how you use your nomenclature on your action line. Do you have all your Lay on Hands left, or does that mean 20/20 has all been used up?

Ah! Excellent!
Oh, speaking of hit points, remember that I cast a Cure Wounds on you and you have 7 hp.
Hopefully maybe you could hit yourself and Toki with some Hands? =)

HD 1: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
HD 2: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
If we take a short rest, Toki will tell you all stories about Tor and Loki dressed up as women to try and get Tor's hammer back from a jotun that wanted to marry Freya... Song of Rest: 1d6 ⇒ 6 If you spend a HD, you get this extra amount on top of the total.
Beordt Stormchaser
I am hurting too if we are getting a rest?

Hit Die: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 12
Hit Die 2: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Hit Die 3: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Hit Die 4: 1d12 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
+6 I am full up.

That makes sense. I just figured that once someone went it would ruin the surprise so I was hanging back to bat clean up. Cinematically I see you and Dack slitting throats but that never works in D&D.
My friend was playing an assassin and was big into the Faceless Man in Game of Thrones, so I set up this whole orc camp and he went through, assassinating (by himself) the sentries and propping them up as if they were still standing guard. He got a good 10 orcs in before the s--- hit the fan! It was neat, but the problem was that the entire camp was put on alert after that point...
Ahh, good times...

Just so everyone knows, what I'm setting up is called an "L-ambush".
Since we're at a three-way intersection we can use the enemy's bravado against them.

Ideally I'll be able to play the Shield and cause a ruckus in the center, focusing their attention on me, and the rest of you can play the Sword, slaying them at leisure.
I can't see if Beordt has any rages left, but I think the barbarian starts with a few javelins, so I'm just counting on him being Support, but also held in reserve. If one of the other two go down, he'll be there to step in and hold the line until I can clean their forces up.
(Wow this did not turn out how I thought it would. Alright well I'll have to beg your indulgence to get the gist of it.)
Toki Sigurdson
I understand it well enough. Hardest part is that I am tapped, and I think that most of the others may be as well, so it is do or die time...
Beordt Stormchaser
I think I have a few left but I got to be honest I don't know how many. I would be happy to go with 5 and or 1d4+1.

Oh thank the gods... ;) What's our XP total looking like now? ^_^
So after killing a gazillion trollkin, fighting the dino raptors on the lift, a couple of river encounters, rescuing Telos and Nantel and several other prisoners, taking down the guards and of course destroying the evil altar to a blood god, and upon finding the sanctuary provided by the frogfolk, you are all now 5th level.
You may RP as you wish.

Apologies, I've been working too much.
With that said:
"Nah my gear thought it was captain o' the ship and went down with it." He shrugs. "I don't even have rope."
Did we already loose Gaius' rope. He has a Dungeoneer's pack which should have rope. Which is like gold in this campaign.
Can we say that Beordt drops this little tasty bit of wisdom as soon as we got back from rescuing the prisoners, before we do level up?
I'm asking because then I can change an infusion.
And I can't invent a Rope of Climbing.
It sounds like that might possibly could be kinda useful. ^_^

Away for the weekend camping. Bot if you need to. Talk to you all soon.

Sorry, I'm trying to remember if we came up with a house rule or something for this.
If there's a perception spoiler, and someone makes it, do we all get it automatically, or do we get advantage, or do we still have to hit it normally?
