I believe all drones do start off with proficiency in either basic melee weapons or small arms. The text is buried in the entry somewhere and is pretty easy to miss.

It does, thanks.

Last question from me: Did you have to spend creds for the augment of putting custom rig in your brain or is it a free option?

As much as I enjoy the rulebook, somethings seem vague to me.

Any advice/help or critique would be much appreciated here.

You might want to at least *consider* picking up longarms or sniper rifles. If you do, it makes sense to get it at level 1 so that you can pick up Versatile Specialization at level 3. At higher levels it ends up being roughly a 50% increase in your character's damage.

The other thing to consider is that your drone's reactive camoflage will probably be negated by you while you are riding it. On the other hand, I think the climbing claws synergize pretty well with the riding saddle.

Thanks. I think that Boris is awesome. With so many mechanics, I should have probably submitted the human scoundrel I was working on. I created Benderr to be a really fun pc to rp. I would love to play with Boris in a campaign! Very cool.

So, you think that I should drop Improved Init and pick up Long arm prof? I was consider doing something besides the standard Improve Init.(which has always helped me out in the past.)

On the drone, I thought that the stealth drone came with both climbing claws and camouflage. I will have to look at it again. I thought that I would only ride it when I was not using it to spy.

Thanks for the help.

Decided to go with Benderr, a sarcastic male Ysoki outlaw mechanic who tends to overindulge himself in what interests him. His drone, "Mister Fingers" is a stealth drone equipped with riding saddle.
