Pathfinder Society once again returns to Phenomenon! This year we are running almost exlusively early season low level scenarios, so if you want to get into the Core campaign this would be an awesome time to do so. We are also offering Bonekeep levels 1 and 2 and the Convention will close out with the Special Race for the Runecarved Key.

Head to the Phenomenon website to register to attend and sign up for games.

Fellow Pathfinder please join me in congratulating Steve Coling as the second 5-Star GM for the Canberra region!

Steve has been a constant support to the Society in Canberra since the inception of the campaign and has been assisting me when I as the VL for Canberra and now as a VL in his own right.

To qualify Steve ran Bonekeep Level 1 for Luke Parry (VL for Sydney) and myself at our largest regional Con a few weeks back. The table managed to quite convincingly clear the entire level of Bonekeep with only a single death (my Wizard who decided it was a good idea to head butt a couple of alchemist bombs...). Steve took the trouncing in good stead and the entire table enjoyed what was the first session of long weekend for Steve.

I look forward to continuing to work with Steve to expand PFS in Canberra and providing quality Society events. So please use this thread to join me in thanking Steve for his contributions to the Society and congratulating him on the well earned fifth star!

1 person marked this as FAQ candidate.

As the GM in question I would like to point out what my contention is on the first and last sentances of the Conductive property;

Ultimate Equipment wrote:
A conductive weapon is able to channel the energy of a spell-like or supernatural ability that relies on a melee or ranged touch attack to hit its target.... This weapon special ability can only be used once per round, and only works with magical abilities of the same type as the weapon (melee or ranged).

Looking at the exact wording (ie RAW) you cannot use the Conductive enhancement on a ranged weapon (such as bow or a firearm) to deliver a ranged touch attack, as they are not the same type. I personally believe that RAI it should work, however in a PFS environment GMs must opperate with the RAW.

I would like to welcome Steve Coling to the position of Venture-Lieutenant for Canberra.

Steve has been an active player and GM in the Canberra PFS scene for a long time, and I look forward to working with him to continue to grow PFS here in Canberra.
